I felt it was a classic, charming old Japanese Hotel. The building’s presence, the restaurant, the guest rooms, and the interior were all wonderful. I stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The food was just as delicious as what you’d find at Hotels in Tokyo, and they kindly accommodated my dietary dislikes so I could fully enjoy the meals. All of the staff provided excellent service, and I felt everything throughout my stay was great. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on the recommendation of an acquaintance who has visited Karuizawa many times. It was just a few minutes’ walk to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, so it was very convenient for exploring the area. The Room and the large public bath were both spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both meals—they were delicious. I requested the Shuttle Service, and the vehicle was clean and the ride was excellent. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even more comfortable if the TV supported network features. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Karuizawa.

This time, I stayed with my toy poodle. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a staff member came right away and helped carry our luggage on a cart, which was very helpful. Everyone at the front desk was kind, and they were gentle with my dog as well. The complimentary treats were a nice touch. The Room had a clean, Western-style feel, and being able to grind coffee beans with the coffee mill made it feel special. There were also snacks prepared for both people and dogs in the Room, which showed great thoughtfulness. The only concern was that the bedding had an animal-like odor that seemed to have soaked in. I would appreciate deodorizing and sanitizing. At the restaurant, every table had space for dogs, so being able to dine together with my dog was truly wonderful for guests traveling with pets, and we were able to enjoy a special time. My dog happily ate the beef menu at dinner, but the next morning didn’t eat it—perhaps because the meat was a bit tough—which was slightly disappointing. Our meals used high-quality ingredients, and we could enjoy even the low-allergen options with peace of mind, though overall they felt slightly lightly seasoned. The freshly baked bread service was well received. For late-night noodles (yonaki soba), I chose the soy sauce flavor. It was delicious. I was also satisfied with the breakfast buffet. However, since the coffee machine brewed one cup at a time, it tended to get crowded; offering coffee in decanters would make it even more convenient. The large public bath was clean and relaxing, and I also appreciated the free ice pop service after bathing. The dog run even had photo spots where we could capture fun memories. Since all guests were traveling with dogs, conversations naturally started among us; it created a very friendly atmosphere with an appeal you can’t experience at an ordinary Hotel. For drinks at the restaurant, I used Kyoryt Maintenance shareholder benefit vouchers. I personally own a small number of Kyoryt Maintenance shares as well, and after experiencing such a wonderful Hotel firsthand, I genuinely felt glad that I bought shares in this company. It ended up being satisfying not only as an overnight stay but also from a shareholder’s perspective. If only the bedding odor could be improved further it would be even more comfortable; aside from that point I was very satisfied overall and would like to stay again with my dog.

Above all, the dinner we enjoyed here was so outstanding it left us speechless. Every dish was exquisitely seasoned, a true testament to craftsmanship that lets flavor speak for itself. The view of Mount Asama from the Room was deeply calming, and the lively birdsong drifting through the trees made a particularly memorable harmony.

This was a repeat stay following last year. Last year, the Room felt slightly more spacious, so I assumed it had been upgraded. This time, it was the Room I reserved, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. I rented a massage chair and a foot massager, so the area around the desk became difficult to walk through, but that was on me and not an issue. I was able to relax. I was also impressed by the number of power outlets. I also enjoyed breakfast at a leisurely pace—it was delicious. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday. My family and I have visited many times since this place first opened, so I was surprised to see the monument marking its 25th anniversary! The property is beautifully maintained and spotless, as if time has stood still, and the hospitality was warm—making our trip truly enjoyable. My son was thrilled with the maisonette-style Room. Thank you as well for preparing a birthday message plate at dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.

It was a wonderful Hotel, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The Room was spacious and very clean. The Facility was well equipped, and we were able to relax in comfort. The soundproofing was also excellent, so we could enjoy a quiet stay without being bothered by noise from outside. Every Italian dish at dinner was delicious, and breakfast was also very good. The large public bath was clean and pleasant, and we used it many times during our stay. It is close to the Old Karuizawa area, making it a convenient location for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. We enjoyed both our time at the Hotel and exploring Karuizawa. Overall, everything felt very well done—this is a Hotel that made us want to stay again. For us, it was an almost perfect stay. The only thing that stood out was the parking. Since we used the second parking lot, getting back and forth to the Hotel felt a bit inconvenient. Other than that, there were no complaints at all, and we would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed here because of its convenient location for enjoying a concert at Ohga Hall. This Hotel has a quiet atmosphere that lets you feel Karuizawa’s history. Thanks to the kind and attentive service from the staff, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. Thank you very much. However, I felt that seniors should be careful of the step in the bathroom.

The staff were wonderful, and the Room was spotless with a great atmosphere. If I had to mention one thing, the bath is so large that the water cools down quickly, but there is no reheating function... Also, since we ended up with quite a bit of trash, it would be helpful if spare trash bags were provided. We stayed with five family members and one dog, and there was plenty of space. We would love to stay again.

The staff’s hospitality is outstanding. In every respect, this Hotel is better than another Hotel in Karuizawa that costs several times more. Some Chinese guests have poor manners, but I suppose that can’t be helped given Japan’s government policies.

I arrived early and they kindly stored my luggage, and from that moment until I left, the warm and welcoming service truly touched me. The French-style Room was charming and tastefully decorated, so it’s easy to see why the Reviews are so highly rated. And the breakfast served in the Room was absolutely delicious—I was thrilled! Everything was carefully prepared, and I especially remember the oval potatoes that were hollow inside. The potage soup and salad were also excellent. I would love to stay at Primavera again for a truly relaxing getaway.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. There were also thoughtful provisions that made it possible to cook for ourselves, allowing us to enjoy a very fulfilling stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed with four adults and were able to relax comfortably. Outside the window, we could see trees and the waterfront, surrounded by nature. The Room facilities and location were excellent, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. There are no dining options on-site, so we ate freely at our favorite restaurants, but for breakfast we bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked for ourselves. If I had to mention one drawback, there was a persistent cigarette smell—perhaps because outside air is brought in—which was unpleasant; otherwise it felt perfect.

We stayed for one night with three dogs to celebrate the New Year, and it turned out to be a highly satisfying experience. Considering the year-end traffic and the cold weather in Karuizawa, we opted for the bullet train this time. After exploring the outlet mall directly connected to the station, we took a taxi for about 11 minutes at a cost of approximately 3,500 yen. Later, we found out that Shuttle Service was available, so checking in advance would make things smoother. The property is very spacious—about half the size of Tokyo Dome by feel—and fully enclosed. It felt like an entire dog park, providing great peace of mind when traveling with pets. Although limited to one group per day, there are three tents available. For two people it feels luxurious; six people might strike a better balance. The dogs were relaxed throughout our stay and enjoyed their freedom without concern for others—a major highlight. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with drinks and used the sauna before dinner. The sauna allowed "löyly" (steam infusion) with around nine types of aroma oils provided. At about 90°C (194°F), it was perfect for working up a good sweat. While there wasn’t a cold plunge pool available, winter’s chilly outdoor air sufficed without inconvenience. The distance from the sauna to showers could be improved slightly; however, having a bonfire area right outside made outdoor relaxation part of its charm—I wish we'd checked in earlier! Dinner was BBQ-style featuring high-quality meats and vegetables along with delicious fish appetizers and soup as starters. A selection of wines including red wine starting at 5,500 yen as well as white wine and champagne were also offered. The BBQ venue had enclosures and heaters ensuring comfort even during colder seasons. The Room felt chilly due to exposure from outside air but came equipped with electric blankets plus heaters making sleeping conditions manageable overall—though stronger or additional heating units would enhance comfort further especially if you're sensitive towards cold temperatures; bringing extra warm clothing is recommended! Morning began again inside saunas followed by breakfast consisting thoughtfully prepared soup alongside Akagi beef shigureni bento boxes which delivered both satisfying portions & flavors alike! Throughout every interaction staff maintained pleasant professionalism striking ideal balance between attentiveness yet respecting privacy leaving lasting positive impressions behind too! Finally returning back via Shuttle Service ensured seamless end-to-end convenience concluding memorable stay altogether! Looking forward revisiting during spring/autumn seasons next time experiencing different scenery/atmosphere altogether anew!

I stayed here for the first time the night before climbing Mt. Myogi. The Onsen was a cloudy bath, and it was my first time experiencing its iron-like scent. I only had breakfast, but the miso soup in particular was delicious. The staff were pleasant, and the Room was spacious and clean. The futon and pillows were fluffy, so I slept soundly—overall a very satisfying Accommodation.

I made a Reservation because this Accommodation was reasonably priced and fairly close for sightseeing in Karuizawa. On arrival, there was welcome coffee from Mikado Coffee, and amenities were provided as well. Please note that pajamas are not provided. The Room was spacious and even had two TVs. I was also happy to find Mikado Coffee drip packs in the Room. A few things stood out: the Room felt a bit dated, I would have preferred newer slippers, and I saw a small ant while taking a bath—so it would be great if there were screens or something similar (it wasn’t so bad that it ruined the stay). That said, the breakfast included was very luxurious and exceeded the price! Since Karuizawa has stylish cafes, I think it would be nice to have a No Meals Included Plan as well.
