I felt it was a classic, charming old Japanese Hotel. The building’s presence, the restaurant, the guest rooms, and the interior were all wonderful. I stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The food was just as delicious as what you’d find at Hotels in Tokyo, and they kindly accommodated my dietary dislikes so I could fully enjoy the meals. All of the staff provided excellent service, and I felt everything throughout my stay was great. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a rainy day, so it was helpful that the Hotel was close to the station. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming. For breakfast, I had salad, bread, and soup, and everything was delicious and satisfying. There were board games in the free drinks area, which we enjoyed. It was a great Hotel that I would like to stay at again.

Mount Myogi rose like a folding screen, and the scenery was spectacular! The Hotel was clean, and the Onsen had great water. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, it wasn’t food I’d want to eat again... There are many sightseeing spots nearby, so we were able to stop by various places and had a very fulfilling trip.

The location was convenient and I had a great time. It was reasonably priced and I would like to use it again. Thank you very much.

Because it was directly connected to the station, we stayed for two nights with breakfast only. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations and visit Karuizawa about once a year, but this trip was especially wonderful—we could enjoy shopping and dining at our own pace without worrying about time. Breakfast was delivered in a basket to the entrance after a knock, and it was plentiful and delicious. Being able to enjoy it at my own pace without watching the clock was the best. The Room interior and overall space were so relaxing that we lost track of time—unlike any Hotel I’ve ever experienced. The herbal bath and lounge were also spacious, with an impressive variety of drinks, allowing us to unwind comfortably. We visited for my husband’s birthday trip, and we truly appreciate that you prepared a celebratory gift for us. Thank you very much. We definitely plan to return. Lastly, since we sometimes re-wear outerwear such as jackets or shawls during our stay, it would be helpful if there were a deodorizing spray (like Febreze). The hand soap and body cream had great quality and fragrance, so something with a similar scent would be wonderful.

I stayed for one night starting September 28. Since the accommodation offered rental bicycles, I walked from Karuizawa Station to the accommodation (about 10 minutes), left my luggage at the front desk, and rented a bicycle to go out. (The cost was 1,650 yen per day or 2,450 yen for an electric bike as I recall.) Renting a bicycle directly from the hotel made it very convenient as I didn’t have to walk back after returning it. Although the building felt a bit old, the room seemed renovated with new tatami mats and comfortable beds. It was refreshing to see beds placed on tatami mats, allowing me to relax both on the bed and on the tatami floor. I also felt secure placing my luggage directly on the tatami mats. Complimentary bottled water (one per person) and apple snacks were provided in the room. At reception, items like stick coffee packets, facial cleansers, and lotions were available for individual pickup. As there was no private bath in my room, I used the public bathhouse instead. The bathhouse was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap—offered in about three varieties—which were quite sufficient. However, having makeup remover would have been even better. There were only two hair dryers available in total; they lacked power so drying long hair might take some time. A water dispenser was also provided near the bath area which allowed me to rehydrate after bathing—a nice touch. Breakfast included medicinal porridge dishes along with pork miso soup (tonjiru), grilled salmon, and various side dishes—all of which were satisfying! For those who don’t prefer porridge though white rice substitutions are possible upon request; coffee too could be self-served freely during breakfast hours! Overall experience staying here proved pleasant & enjoyable enough that I'd certainly consider returning again someday!

It was closer to the station and the outlet mall than expected. We originally planned to cycle to Old Karuizawa Ginza Street and Kumoba Pond, but it was within an easy walking distance while browsing shops along the way. The pension’s bath was spacious with plenty of hot water, so we could stretch out and relax—it felt wonderful. Thanks to the bath, even though we walked a lot, we didn’t feel tired the next day. The bed (narrow and firm) wasn’t very comfortable, but otherwise we were satisfied. Also, all of the staff were very pleasant and left a great impression. Good value for money and highly recommended.

We wanted to enjoy restaurants in Karuizawa, so we chose this Accommodation with No Meals Included. The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was spacious, and the shower had plenty of hot water. For breakfast (8:00–10:00), you can order a hot sandwich and a drink at the café on the first floor—it was very delicious. The owner also shared recommendations for great bakeries and local tips. This is a Hotel we would like to stay at again.
