To avoid traffic on the last day of the holiday weekend, we chose this hotel for its spacious parking lot. We were satisfied with everything—the service, facilities, and breakfast—and we’re glad we chose it. The bath in particular was large and very clean. We were able to relax with the bath salts we received at the front desk.

I enjoyed my stay so much in spring that I returned to visit the Utsunomiya Museum of Art. Although I was traveling alone, they upgraded me to a twin room, and I was able to relax comfortably in the spacious room. Breakfast was excellent last time with the Western set, so this time I chose the Japanese set, and it met my expectations. For dinner, I walked to a nearby Ootoya, but it seems the hotel restaurant also offers a course menu for guests. I wish there had been information on the table rather than tucked away in a drawer—then I wouldn’t have needed to go out. In any case, for a full-service city hotel at this price with such a great breakfast, the value for money is outstanding.

Because the door is a bit unique, I was nervous at first, wondering if I had the wrong entrance. But once I passed through the gate, nature opened up and it was exciting. Since the car park and the Accommodation are separated, those with a lot of luggage should be careful not to forget anything. The Accommodation was clean. It was a little disappointing that there were no hangers in the room. As for the toilet and bath, you have to step outside once to get there, so at night I couldn’t bring myself to go out because I could hear what sounded like distant howling (lol). Still, since they are private facilities—unlike places where you share with other guests—I think it’s more than sufficient. There are also many Facilities you can use for free, such as a terrarium experience, a basketball hoop, a sauna, and a pool; depending on the season, there may be more than enough to keep you busy. I had assumed we might be able to interact with the horses too, but when it came to the ranch area I only heard them and never actually saw them, which was disappointing. For meals, we were satisfied being able to enjoy BBQ using our private grill! It’s not a luxury-style glamping Accommodation, but I think it’s just right for enjoying nature and a camping vibe in a clean environment at an affordable price.
