I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Although it was only for one night, I was able to relax deeply. As rumored, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, everyone’s hospitality was excellent, and the Room was wonderful. I’m truly glad I chose to stay here. I also sincerely appreciate you finding my lost item and sending it to me right away—it was a great help. I hope to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

We had planned to visit Hiramatsu in Okinawa this time, but our flight was canceled due to a typhoon. Although it was a last-minute Reservation made the day before, we quickly changed our plans to Atami. I had stayed in Atami once about eight years ago, and every time I visit, the reason I can enjoy such a comfortable stay is thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff. A staff member who had transferred from Okinawa to Atami said, “It’s a shame about Okinawa this time,” which made me feel relieved and truly happy. The female manager also remembered our conversation from eight years ago. I was feeling a bit down about not being able to go to Okinawa, but the kindness of everyone on the team comforted me, and it became another great trip. I truly felt that Hiramatsu properties across The whole country offer outstanding service and teamwork because the management philosophy is exceptional.

This was our first trip together, and we stayed here to celebrate her birthday. The Room and service were excellent, but above all, we were truly impressed by the meals. Both breakfast and dinner were a wonderful experience. We would definitely like to stay again.

I booked this stay because of the great Reviews, and it really caught my interest. After sightseeing at Kinomiya Shrine, we took a taxi there, and they warmly welcomed us at the entrance upon arrival. We were traveling with our 4-year-old and 1-year-old children, and everyone was so kind that the kids seemed to have a wonderful time. And above all, I was amazed at how incredibly delicious the food was. My husband and I weren’t very hungry when we went to dinner, but every dish was so good that before we knew it, we had finished everything. Even the appetizers were outstanding. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this was the first time we’ve had food this delicious. The children’s meal was also excellent, and even our child who usually eats very little seemed to eat a lot. Since our younger child is still small, my younger child and I used the in-Room bath, but it was spacious and spotless, so we enjoyed it more than enough. When we come to Atami again, I definitely want to stay here again!

This was my first visit, and I was completely satisfied. While many places operate with a small team these days, I was surprised by how many staff members there were here. The Room I reserved was excellent—an in-room bath, a massage chair, and a view that couldn’t be better. The three baths were also great, each with its own unique atmosphere. The guests were calm and respectful, so I could relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. This has become an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. This was my second stay this year, and I visited with my mother. My mother is nearing her 88th birthday, but she still has a great appetite and finished everything, even having seconds from the rice tub. I visited long ago with my mother and grandmother as well, so I feel truly happy to have an Accommodation we can return to across three generations—my grandmother, my mother, and me. Unfortunately it rained this time, but thanks to that the signature stones and garden trees were gently wet, letting us enjoy a different kind of beautiful scenery than usual. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

I was able to fully relax and heal my exhausted body after caregiving. Thank you for taking care of me. I felt the food was a little strongly seasoned, but I finished everything! It was a very good rest. I look forward to staying with you again.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. We stayed here for a 50th birthday trip with two classmates from Osaka and two from the Kanto area. Our Room was on the 3rd floor, so the view was of the sea beyond the parking lot. It wasn’t the view shown in the photos, which was disappointing. The bath was a hinoki bath, and the Onsen was great. Google Maps guided us to approach from the stairs side, so we had to take a longer route. There were also two toilets, and the Room was clean, so we had a wonderful time.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably, which was great. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.

Located near Yugawara’s Manyo Park, the Hotel is a comfortable size and it was enjoyable to walk around inside. Dinner was a course meal served at the table, and the staff were efficient, allowing us to relax. It was great to enjoy both the open-air bath for Hotel guests and the one for general visitors. The front desk staff were also very courteous.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. The spacious Room and the generously sized open-air bath in the Room helped us fully relax and recover from our fatigue. Although the building is somewhat old, it is well cleaned, and since I don’t really like newer but cramped Rooms, this Accommodation suited me well. The Onsen was also excellent and warmed me through to the core, so I would definitely like to stay again.

Unlimited free access to the game arcade, table tennis, Go and shogi, karaoke, and more. It felt like I finally had time to relax again after a long while, and I made wonderful memories. The shared karaoke turned into a nostalgic sing-off of classic Japanese songs, and I truly enjoyed the fun, one-time-only atmosphere with people I had just met. Thank you very much!

This was our first trip to Atami, and we stayed here as a couple. The staff were very helpful, and we were satisfied. Our Room was Japanese-style, and it was nice that it could be divided into separate spaces with sliding doors. We were a bit concerned that the toilet area had a step up. We were also happy with the view and had a very pleasant stay. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious, and the breakfast buffet also had an excellent selection. Facilities & Surroundings There are very few shared Facilities, and the overall layout is compact. There isn’t much to do within walking distance nearby, so it felt difficult to go out without a car. Room The Room isn’t especially spacious, but it has the basic essentials. It feels more like a vacation home than a Hotel, with a noticeable “home-like” atmosphere for better or worse. Some details also feel cost-conscious in design, which may come down to personal preference. Onsen There is only an open-air bath, but it was enough to enjoy during the stay. Service Rather than the polished service you might expect from typical Hotel staff, the operation felt relatively casual. If you’re expecting luxury-Hotel-level professionalism and hospitality, it may feel different from what you imagine. Dining The cuisine is French-inspired and makes good use of local ingredients; overall, everything was delicious. That said, in the latter courses it felt less about premium ingredients themselves and more about creatively finishing dishes with comparatively lower-cost items. Considering the restaurant on its own, my satisfaction level felt around JPY 20,000 per person. Overall Review While the dining was excellent, considering this as “staying as an overnight guest,” I felt the price was somewhat high when factoring in the Room and overall Facilities. On the other hand, if viewed more like usage rights or a membership-style Accommodation rather than a standard Hotel stay, your perspective may differ. Overall, this seems better suited for those who want to enjoy quiet surroundings along with dining and an Onsen experience than for those seeking a distinctly luxurious getaway or highly attentive service.

We stayed here during the fireworks festival in a Room with a fireworks view. I wasn’t sure about the location at first, but we were able to watch the fireworks perfectly from our Room. The Ryokan itself is quite old, but it has been nicely renovated—especially around the bathrooms—so it was very comfortable. The meals were generous and we were very satisfied, and the staff’s service was excellent. With only seven Rooms in total, it’s a small Ryokan, so we didn’t run into other guests in the bath and enjoyed plenty of privacy.

I booked this Ryokan two days before my trip to Atami. It is located near Kinomiya Station, which is within walking distance from Atami. The location was excellent, especially being just a few minutes' walk to Kinomiya Shrine. The room was a typical Ryokan style, offering an authentic experience. Although the angle of the room was slightly awkward, I could still catch a glimpse of the sea. This Ryokan also has table tennis facilities, which provided some simple yet enjoyable entertainment. The onsen bath was small but gave a nice onsen experience. However, there were no facial cleansers available, which might be inconvenient for women. I added breakfast to my stay and enjoyed bread, bananas, boiled eggs, fruits, and drinks. While simple in variety, having breakfast at the Ryokan added to the travel atmosphere nicely.

The views are beautiful, and the peaceful setting lets you enjoy a special getaway. There is also a sauna, and each Room has its own bathroom and toilet, so even large groups can stay comfortably with plenty of privacy. We tried the BBQ once, but it wasn’t quite what we expected. Since delivery is available, you may be fine without meals included. The butler’s service was excellent as well. For older guests, the beds may feel a bit too high.
