We stayed here for an anniversary trip as a couple. Since we both love saunas, we chose this Accommodation. In a word: “The most satisfying Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at”! From check-in to meals to check-out, all the staff were consistently courteous and attentive, and we felt comfortable from start to finish. What surprised us first when we entered the Room was how well stocked everything was—amenities and even complimentary items in the refrigerator. It was the first time we’d experienced such generous hospitality, and both of us kept saying, “Wow!” the whole time. The sauna we’d been looking forward to exceeded our expectations. During self löyly, a gentle roasted green tea aroma filled the space and was incredibly relaxing. The outdoor cooling area was also very comfortable, and we were able to unwind so much that we lost track of time. If you love saunas, I highly recommend trying it at least once. Both the Italian course dinner and the Japanese breakfast were truly excellent—we were completely satisfied. Not only were they beautifully presented, but every dish was delicious, with just the right portions so we could enjoy everything through to the end. It was our first time having a course meal so I felt a little nervous at first, but that made it an even more special memory. The overall atmosphere of the Accommodation was wonderful as well—enjoying the sauna, reading together, having unhurried conversations… Because there’s no clock or TV here, we could forget our usual busy routine and spend truly luxurious time together. The Room was spacious too—calm and very relaxing. If I had to mention one thing: since we stayed in summer, the open-air bath used as a cold plunge felt slightly lukewarm. I think it’s seasonal though—next time I’d like to visit in autumn or winter and enjoy an even more refreshing sauna experience. This is an Accommodation I genuinely recommend for anyone who wants to spend quiet time indoors or refresh while forgetting everyday busyness. Our anniversary became an unforgettable memory. We would absolutely love to stay again—thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.

The level of satisfaction at this price point is amazing! The public spaces and the Room in particular were thoughtfully designed overall—modern, clean, and very comfortable. If you’re looking to enjoy the Accommodation itself as the main focus, the meals, large public bath, and Room atmosphere might feel a bit lacking. However, given the location in Kushimoto and that we visited mainly for diving this time, we were extremely satisfied with the outstanding value for money and service that exceeded our expectations! We’d love to make this our regular Accommodation for future diving trips to Kushimoto.

This was my first time staying at Ooedo Onsen. I didn’t have high expectations for the breakfast and dinner buffets, but I was pleasantly surprised—they were excellent. There was a wide selection of sashimi, from seared bonito to tuna, and the sushi was genuinely tasty, not the small, slightly dry pieces you often find at buffets. There was also an impressive variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes—from vichyssoise to Sichuan-style mapo tofu and even Wakayama ramen—everything looked tempting. At breakfast there was plenty of sashimi as well, so many guests made their own seafood rice bowls. It was a bit disappointing that there was only one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, but it was helpful that amenities were well stocked—from cleansing oil and face wash to leave-in treatment. All rooms have an ocean view. We could see the sea, but I had hoped to see more of Hashigui-iwa; when I tried to open the window it couldn’t be opened. That said, considering safety and insect prevention, it may be unavoidable. Overall it was a wonderful stay, and I would love to return if I have another chance.

It was our first time glamping, and the Room was very clean. The location was perfect, and even with our car parked there was a wide grassy area—enough space to play badminton. The meal selection was plentiful, with meat, seafood, and vegetables, and it also came with rice balls. They even included a small amount of soy sauce so we could make grilled rice balls, which were delicious. The staff were all very kind and made us feel welcome. I gave the bath 4 stars because there is only a shower—fine for this season, but in winter I’d want to soak in a bathtub, so I deducted one point. It’s a place I would definitely like to visit again!

As the title says, it was a great Hotel. I rated it 4 because there was no bathtub, but the shower was refreshing and left me feeling clean. If this Hotel is available on future trips, I will choose it without hesitation. Thank you.

Everyone was incredibly kind and took great care of us. My grandchild ate too much pineapple we had brought with us, and their tongue started hurting, which caused quite a commotion. I thought drinking milk might help, so I asked if there was any, but there wasn’t. Since we had been drinking, we couldn’t go out to buy anything and were about to give up, but they kindly went out of their way to buy pudding and yogurt for us. We were truly grateful. Thanks to that, my grandchild’s pain seemed to ease and they calmed down. It’s rare to find a place that would do this much for guests. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back.

From the hostess’s warm welcome to the stunning third-floor Room and terrace with exceptional views. The Room has windows on three sides. Open the door and you’re greeted by a view of Cape Shionomisaki. A terrace where you can enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Every dish was delicious—we ordered two servings each of the meat course and the fish course, and ended up overeating. I was a bit surprised that access to the Room was via an outdoor staircase I hadn’t expected, but once you come down the stairs, Cape Shionomisaki is right in front of you. If it had been raining, getting around might have been tough, but luckily the rain from the previous day had cleared, temperatures rose, and my mood soared too. The bath is not an Onsen, but while it shows its age, it was clean and felt well maintained. Another thing I loved was the “duvet cover.” It felt so nice that I want to find one for home—I wish I’d asked what brand it was. The Room itself was so comfortable, and it was great to just zone out while gently swaying in the hammock.
