I stayed here for two nights. On the first night, I was on a lower floor and was disappointed that there were no amenities such as skincare products. It was nice that they provided water. On the second night, I stayed on an upper floor. This is my Review of the upper floor. Everything on the upper floor was excellent, so I have nothing to complain about. There was also a coffee machine, and the slippers were high-quality and reusable many times, and the amenities were properly provided. They also had ReFa body soap and shampoo. I hope this helps as a reference.

Everything—the views, the Room, the baths, the meals, and the hospitality—was outstanding. My whole family kept saying again and again that we had never stayed at such a wonderful Ryokan. First of all, the baths! The view of Otaru spread out below from the open-air bath was breathtaking. (We also really appreciated that the amenities were from a well-known cosmetics brand and that towels were always available.) Inside the Ryokan, there were furnishings that evoked the former prosperity of the Herring Mansion, making it an irresistible place for history lovers. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I especially can’t forget the potato with butter sauce—a long-loved specialty of this Ryokan. It was such an incredible time that I almost didn’t want to recommend it to others. I definitely want to come back again next time.

I stayed for one night while sightseeing in Otaru. The Hotel has great access to the main street, and there is a convenience store right next door, which was very convenient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, all delicious—I was almost disappointed that I couldn’t finish everything. Since the Hotel is new, it was clean overall, but it was a bit disappointing to find mold around the Room’s plumbing areas (such as the base of the sink faucet and the corners of the bathtub). That said, the staff were courteous and helpful, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again when I visit Otaru.

Right in front of the canal cruise boarding point. Right in front of the LeTAO shop. Located in the very heart of Otaru sightseeing, we also enjoyed seeing the Asuka III docked at the port—an excellent stay.

This trip to Hokkaido was a three-sister getaway to celebrate my older sister’s 70th birthday. I had requested a birthday message plate, and on the day you kindly prepared a private Room for us. The dessert message plate was wonderful as well! Dinner, including the grilled scallops, was absolutely delicious. I recommend this Accommodation to my friends, telling them that if they go to Otaru, they should definitely stay here! Thank you very much. We stayed here during the Obon holidays as a family of three. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was delicious, and it made our trip truly wonderful.

After sightseeing in Sapporo and Otaru during the peak Obon holiday period, our family of four stayed here. We had a connecting room with a great view, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast venue the next morning was not crowded, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. As guests receive a 5% discount, we bought lots of souvenirs at the shop, and we were able to arrange shipping at the front desk, which made things much easier both physically and mentally. It was clean, and the living space was just the right size. The rate was comparable to a Business Hotel, so I decided to stay without hesitation. Like a condominium, it has a kitchen area, a washing machine, and separate bath and toilet facilities, so I felt it would be convenient even for long-term stays. I would like to use it again.

After my wife was discharged from the hospital, she successfully passed two follow-up checkups, and we finally planned our first trip in a year. While searching for an exceptional stay as a surprise gift, we found this Accommodation. In a completely private setting, we were able to enjoy a blissful escape from everyday life. The Room filled with bright light through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the vast grassland stretching out before us, the free-flowing Onsen and pool fed directly from the source, and the soothing sounds of nature—just what we could see and hear was enough to heal us. And yet, the chef’s warm personality reflected in every dish, along with stories full of love for Hokkaido, made it truly unforgettable. Using local ingredients along with freshly picked herbs and vegetables harvested right on the property, the unpretentious course allowed us to fully savor Hokkaido. From appetizers created right in front of us to a beautifully cooked main grilled over firewood rather than charcoal, every once-in-a-lifetime dish for that day alone moved us again and again—right through dessert. The wines thoughtfully recommended at just the right moments were also excellent. Small gestures—like turning our leftover corn rice into onigiri for a late-night snack—were deeply touching. The smooth, slightly thick Moor Onsen water left our skin silky soft, and I found myself soaking again and again after dinner, in the middle of the night, and at dawn (laughs). The steam rising into the night air under a sky full of stars was so calming I wished time would stop. Breakfast in the crisp morning air was also an array of homemade delights—we enjoyed every last bit of what this Accommodation has to offer. Spending time in an entirely private space where you can have endless views and the chef’s cuisine all to yourself—without anyone disturbing you—is truly one of a kind. Thanks to you all, it became the best possible surprise trip to celebrate my wife’s discharge. We stayed for five nights during Silver Week. We enjoyed a peaceful and fulfilling time. It was also fun cooking ingredients we bought at a local supermarket. The sunset view from the window was beautiful and deeply moving.
