Although it was very close to the Higashi Chaya District, it was in a quiet location where we could forget the bustle of the area.
The Room had beautiful vermilion walls, and while the building is old, there were no inconveniences.
Right after arriving, we were served Yoshihashi’s fresh Japanese confectionery and matcha, which were absolutely delicious.
The meals were truly worthy of a high-end restaurant—each dish had deep, wonderful flavor, and the tableware was dazzling yet refined, making it a real pleasure.
Breakfast also offered an impressive variety and was delicious; I was moved from the morning by the thick grilled flounder and jibuni.
The proprietress and everyone at the Ryokan were courteous, and we could really feel its long-established tradition in a good way.
