I stayed here during Golden Week, and the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I felt, “This is a wonderful Accommodation.” Perhaps it’s because the proprietress pays close attention to every detail. It’s a truly pleasant place to stay. Because there are only a few guest parties, the staff is also small in number, but they provided attentive service. Needless to say, the food was outstanding. I wasn’t traveling specifically for branded wagyu; I’m the type who prefers to carefully choose and enjoy truly delicious food. Still, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where you can enjoy such a wide variety of cuts prepared in the best possible way for each one. As expected from Oki of Yonezawa beef. The Onsen is relatively small, but since there are few guests, I was able to have it all to myself whenever I went—and the water is excellent. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

We visited as three generations of our family. The children enjoyed the latter half of summer vacation with marshmallows by the campfire, badminton and fireworks in the garden, and the pool. It was also great for parents to have tasty water and coffee available self-service in the lobby. The buffet at this Accommodation was thoughtfully varied, so the children never got bored and were very satisfied. The tempura and roast beef at dinner, as well as fried bread and banana milk at breakfast, were all delicious. The staff were also very pleasant. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again.

The hot spring has an abundant flow of water, and the waterfall bath provides an excellent massage effect for the shoulders and lower back. I stayed for two nights, and the proprietress’s vegetable-focused side dishes were very delicious, with no repeated menu items. It is buffet-style, and the staff manage it hygienically, which gave me peace of mind. The cleaning is thorough, but the building is old, and footsteps echo when people walk.

We stayed at this Ryokan for my parents’ therapeutic hot-spring retreat. It’s a Ryokan that’s difficult to reach without a car, but it had a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were especially kind, and we truly enjoyed our stay. My elderly parents were delighted with the nostalgic Japanese-style room. There are many stairs inside the Accommodation, and my father, whose legs have started to weaken, had a bit of difficulty walking around the building. We had breakfast, and it was delicious Japanese food that left us completely full.

This was my first stay, and not only was the Onsen excellent, but the meals were far better than I expected—I was truly impressed. The carp sashimi seemed to be a specialty, and it had no strong taste at all; it paired perfectly with vinegared miso and was delicious. Every dish went wonderfully with sake, and I also enjoyed comparing different types of sake. By the time the sukiyaki arrived at the end I was already full, but the beef was so good I somehow still had room for it. This has become a favorite Accommodation that I’d love to visit again.

I stayed at the S Building for a solo trip for 2 nights. I traveled by train without using a car. Here are some points for those considering similar accommodations: - I traveled with a backpack, but if you're using the train, carrying a suitcase can be challenging as you need to climb a mountain path from Toge Station. - Depending on the season, there are many stink bugs. After enjoying the sauna and cold bath, I wanted to relax on the chair, but stink bugs occupied both the chair and its surroundings. - There is no TV available. - Bears have been spotted in the area, so walking alone can be quite thrilling. - Rainy days are recommended! Stink bugs don't appear, and you'll feel deeply relaxed by the sound of streams flowing, raindrops hitting trees, and their refreshing scent.

We stayed here with two people for an overnight snowboarding trip to Tengendai Kogen Ski Resort. After a full day on the slopes, they served us must-have snacks for drinks, and we enjoyed a toast. Then we took a bath; the tub is a bit small for two adults at once, but taking turns was no problem. They also make sure guests don’t overlap. The dinner menu that day featured Yonezawa’s specialty Yoshitsune-yaki (Genghis Khan), and there were also appetizers like oden and pork miso soup—satisfaction level 120%! After returning to the Room, there wasn’t much to do, so I thought it would be nice to have at least a TV. Still, we had another satisfying breakfast the next morning, enjoyed coffee, and headed to the slopes with plenty of time—no need to line up for the ropeway. We’ll definitely stay again.
