It was my first time visiting Shirahone Onsen, and I’m glad I chose Yumoto Saito Ryokan. Everything was excellent. The service was attentive, the meals were carefully prepared and delicious, and the baths were clean and relaxing. The Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style room. It made me want to come back again!

This time, I stayed at the long-admired Imperial Hotel with my mother. She used to love hiking and once climbed the Hotaka mountain range, and she told me that she and her friends talked about how they wanted to stay here someday. Her wish finally came true, and she was absolutely delighted. We were very satisfied to see Hotaka from our Room balcony. The Room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were kind and carefully explained the route to Kappa Bridge. The restaurant was fully booked for dinner, but when we said we would browse the souvenir shop, they kindly came to let us know as soon as a table became available. This time, we were on a waiting list, and luckily a cancellation opened up so we were able to stay. On the way home, my mother and I kept saying, “Let’s come again.” We would love to visit again.
