We had a truly wonderful stay. We stayed for two nights with our 1-year-old daughter. Dinner and breakfast were included, and the food was outstanding. They thoughtfully accommodated our child’s meals, taking her egg allergy and the size of the ingredients into consideration, and she was very happy. The staff also looked after her throughout, so we could enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The Room has special touches that help you forget the busyness of everyday life. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy an extraordinary experience we don’t usually get to have. We would love to return again next time.

Having visited Yoko no Kaze before, we stayed here this year. Our family has grown, and our daughter-in-law joined us as well. They kindly prepared Rooms next to each other for us. At Kumoba Terrace, we took our time enjoying alcohol and fresh juice, and the lit bonfire and birch forest were truly soothing. In the spacious, clean Room, we relaxed in the Onsen brought from Ueda City. The cuisine was outstanding—seasonal and beautifully presented. We enjoyed everything from the scallop takikomi rice to dessert, though the portions were a bit large for me. As it was our daughter-in-law’s birthday month, we requested a surprise message plate. She was very happy, which made us glad as well. Thanks to the thoughtful staff, we were able to add another precious family memory. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The entire property was spotless, and the Room was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a special escape from everyday life. All of the staff were extremely courteous, and we could feel their thoughtful attention throughout our stay, which made our time there truly comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every dish. Everything was excellent, and mealtimes were especially memorable during this stay. We felt the thoughtful attention in our Room and at the restaurant, and my wife and I were able to enjoy a wonderful birthday. The Facility had the charm of a classic Hotel while offering the comfort of a Resort Hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen at Atagokan. If we have another chance to visit Karuizawa, we would love to stay again.

I visit Karuizawa often, and this Harvest VIALA felt spacious and very comfortable. Both the Facility and the meals were satisfying, and the shop selection was excellent. The other guests were also well-mannered, so it was a place where I could relax and truly refresh. The bedding was comfortable as well, though I would appreciate having a light summer quilt available. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The atmosphere was homey and very clean, and all the staff were extremely kind. It was late July, but the temperature wasn’t too high and the humidity was low, so it was very comfortable—Karuizawa really is wonderful. We stayed for two nights, but on the second night my son became unwell, and I’m very sorry for the trouble we caused. Even though it was sudden, a staff member said, “Please let us know if there’s anything we can do,” and they also helped us check out quickly that same day—thank you so much. By the next day my son was feeling better and said, “Karuizawa was fun—I want to stay at that Hotel again.” I’m also sorry this Review is so late. I will contact you again separately. There was an unexpected issue and I panicked a bit, but I made another special memory in Karuizawa after a long time. Thank you very much.

As our dog entered its ninth month, we stayed at a Resort Hotel for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed by dog-loving staff. We stayed in a Garden Moderate Room on the first floor, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—not only the Facility and private dog run, but also detailed amenities for dogs. The Room was clean and comfortable with considerate touches for owners as well, and we were very satisfied with the delicious meals. After breakfast, we could take a walk to nearby Kumoba Pond before check-out, so the location is great too. Since Regina Resort seems to have locations in various areas, we’d like to visit not only Karuizawa but other destinations as well. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

Our family of four stayed for two nights. From check-in onward, the Hotel staff were wonderfully welcoming, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. What impressed us most was the outstanding hospitality of everyone on the team. There are many reasons to choose a Hotel—Facilities, location, and more—but what really makes you want to come back is the warmth of the people who work there. We were all very satisfied. The meals were outstanding. Dinner met our expectations, and breakfast exceeded them. The vegetables, in particular, looked beautiful and tasted great. The Room was charming, and the bath was spacious and wonderful.

This was our first time staying with our Toy Poodle. The amenities, dog run, and photo spots were irresistible for dog lovers. Everything was clean, and there were no unpleasant odors. Above all, the Hotel staff were kind. With their pleasant greetings and helpful support when we needed it, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we would definitely like to stay again.

We traveled as three generations with my mother and my 90-year-old grandmother. The meals and the service were very reassuring—just what you’d expect from a Hotel that also hosts weddings. The bath had a sauna, but it would have been even better with a cold plunge pool. At night we went stargazing, and in the morning we took a walk to SAWAMURA. I think it’s a great Hotel that all ages can enjoy. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. The free-flow sparkling wine is also a big draw! Right after check-in, I headed straight to the lounge. Sipping sparkling wine while chatting in a quiet space made me feel happy right away. Dinner was French, and the taste, portion size, and quality were all outstanding—nothing to complain about. Every wine pairing was delicious, and it made me want to try a variety. The Room was spacious and beautifully designed. The Simmons bed was as comfortable as expected, and I slept soundly until morning. It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again when I go to Karuizawa.

I have stayed here several times. Every visit, I’m impressed by the warm service, the simple and spotless Room, and the soothing greenery—my satisfaction is always extremely high at this Hotel. While service standards at Hotels across Japan have been declining due to staff shortages, this Hotel continues to uphold the tradition of classic hospitality and could serve as a model for Hotel professionals nationwide. I would love to visit again next summer.

I chose this Hotel because I wanted my elderly father, who has trouble walking, to enjoy an Onsen, and the Room had a private Onsen. When I mentioned that he struggles with steps, they kindly took photos and sent them to us, so we were able to visit with peace of mind. The Onsen is small but open-air, and it felt wonderful. He was truly happy to be able to soak in an Onsen again after a long time. Every dish was delicious, and there was more than we could finish—we were very satisfied. Above all, every staff member was extremely kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. It’s also convenient because there is Shuttle Service from the station. We would definitely like to visit again.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. Close to the station, with an outlet mall just nearby, so the location is very convenient. Also, since we have children, we signed up for Picchio’s animal tour and insect tour within the Hotel and joined in. The guide explained everything carefully, and we enjoyed it a lot, so I highly recommend it. The Hotel grounds are vast, and shuttle buses run until late between Karuizawa Prince West, Animal, Hot Spring, and the outlet mall, which was very convenient. We woke up early and took a walk around the Hotel grounds. The fresh air was wonderful, and the sun filtering through the trees was truly soothing. The Onsen was great as well, and above all, all of the staff were very kind and pleasant—it really felt like they are well trained. I will definitely stay at this Hotel again.

We stayed for a relatively long visit of 4 nights and 5 days with our family and two Chihuahuas. The Room was clean, and we had a comfortable stay. Since we were staying for an extended period, we cooked quite often. It was great that the kitchen appliances were well equipped, but it was disappointing that there weren’t many dishes. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to Tsuruya in about 15 minutes. If I had to ask for one more thing, having rental bicycles at Hafumo would likely make it easier to get around and expand our range. When we visit Karuizawa again, we would love to stay here again.

I live not too far from Karuizawa. A friend from Tokyo really wanted to spend some quiet, relaxing time in Karuizawa, so we stayed there together. It feels like an Accommodation that combines the best of both a Hotel and a rental villa. The staff may feel politely hands-off at times, but if you ask, they respond with genuine care. Shuttle Service from Karuizawa Station is also available, so if you need it, it’s best to inquire and Reserve in advance. Although it’s close to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, you can step just a little way off the main road and escape the crowds. I also saw guests staying solo who spent their time reading throughout their stay. Rather than coming for a typical Hotel experience, you’ll appreciate this place most if you stay here to enjoy your own time. At check-in, we received lounge vouchers worth 1,000 yen per person. We had planned to have dinner at a restaurant outside and didn’t find anything we wanted at the shop. When I asked at the front desk, they suggested having homemade ginger ale in our Room after dinner. You order it at the front desk and bring it back yourself, but it was a great suggestion. If I have friends who want to stay in Karuizawa again, this is a Hotel I would recommend.

This was our second stay, the first in two years. Just like last time, the place was thoroughly cleaned and we had a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the Tsuruya apple juice (I believe it was a repeat-guest perk). What we love most about this Accommodation is the great location and how comfortable it is not only for people but also for dogs. The fenced yard covered with wood chips can be used as a private dog run, so we could skip walks when needed—easy for us, and our dog looked like they were having a great time too. The only inconvenience is that there are no amenities such as a skincare/lotion set, but we knew this in advance from the Accommodation information and brought our own, so it wasn’t an issue at all. Please keep this in mind if you plan to stay here. There were two hair dryers provided, which was great since our two teenage children could use them at the same time. The foot bath was also wonderful. Soaking our feet after waking up while drinking the provided drip coffee felt like forest bathing and was truly relaxing. Contactless check-in and check-out were easy and very convenient. Because everything is contactless, we didn’t meet any staff in person, but everything was well prepared for a comfortable stay—thank you very much.
