As I was traveling without a car, easy access from the station was essential. The deciding factors for my stay at this Hotel were the shuttle bus service and the excellent Reviews of the Onsen. My Room was on a high floor with a great view, and I was truly impressed by the scenery from the window! The free-flowing natural hot spring water was also wonderful. Dinner was kaiseki plus a half buffet, and they kindly accommodated changes for ingredients I can’t eat. I honestly didn’t expect much from the Sansa Odori show, but it was thoughtfully put together—and I ended up completely captivated. It was fantastic. I even bought a Sansa Odori tenugui towel in town... One disappointing point: I don’t think the steam sauna was turned on. Please check!

I discovered Hotel Aishinkan in Tsunagi Onsen after deciding to go to Shizukuishi Station with Viewn. I stayed at its sister property, Hotel Shion, the day before, and then stayed at Hotel Aishinkan on the second day. What made me choose it was the Yakiniku Hige dinner course. I was very satisfied with both the quantity and taste of the meat, and it was amazing to be able to try authentic cold noodles. The staff were also very pleasant, so I ended up ordering an extra regular portion of cold noodles and additional meat. My stomach and heart were full. Because it’s all-inclusive, I could enjoy my favorite beer at the yakiniku venue without worrying about the cost. After bathing, I could also freely enjoy alcohol in the lounge, which had a wonderful atmosphere. At breakfast as well, I could have beer from early in the morning; while the breakfast selection felt a little limited, I had reserved an Onsen Liner for my return trip, so I could drink with peace of mind. I used the large public bath and open-air bath so many times that I lost count—it was truly a fun trip. It’s a bit far from Tokyo, but this is one Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

My spouse and I stayed here with our parents, booking two separate buildings. After reading Reviews saying things like “the meals aren’t great for the price,” we honestly didn’t expect much—but there were no issues at all. The portions were more than enough (and you can order extra if needed), everything was delicious, and we had nothing to complain about. Of course, the bath was amazing. Unfortunately, we happened to be there during a typhoon and couldn’t see the stars at night, so we will definitely return—next time, I’d love to soak in the bath while looking up at a sky full of stars. One point: there was a mismatch between the breakfast time we thought we had communicated and the time the Accommodation had on record (it was later), which affected our morning departure time and plans afterward. To avoid any misunderstandings about who said what, it would be helpful if you could leave a written note confirming the requested times for dinner and breakfast.

Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. A clean property, a buffet, and a large bath! We enjoyed our reserved table tennis, and afterward you kindly extended our karaoke time by an extra 30 minutes. Thanks to the thoughtful hospitality of the Hotel staff, my children in their second year of working life were able to forget their daily stress and smile more. Thank you for a truly wonderful day.
