We stayed for one night to celebrate a family birthday, and the ocean view right in front of us from the balcony was incredible. It felt so open and relaxing that we found ourselves just gazing at the scenery for a while. The only thing was that we wished there had been chairs out there, and having a screen door would have let us enjoy the sea breeze and sound of the waves without using the air conditioner. The room had been beautifully renovated, and both the bed and futon were very comfortable. The amenities were fully stocked with everything we needed, and even the towels were thick and pleasant to use. The bathroom was also spotless and very user-friendly. What impressed us most was the buffet—everything tasted great, with an excellent variety. For dinner, we especially enjoyed shabu-shabu, sea bream rice, sashimi, and items from the live kitchen like chicken and kakiage tempura fritters. At breakfast, the French toast and pressed yogurt were particularly delicious. I asked in advance whether a birthday dessert plate could be arranged, but it wasn’t available, which was disappointing; however, they kindly gifted us a bottle of wine at dinner, which made us very happy. Thank you so much. The indoor bath was a bit hot for our taste, but the outdoor open-air bath was perfect. Soaking while looking up at the night sky helped all our fatigue melt away. All of the staff were extremely kind—we felt we received hospitality beyond what we paid for. Our whole family loved it as well. We would definitely like to book again when visiting Kamogawa.

The food is consistently excellent, so I keep coming back again and again. I used to feel the room rates were a bit high, but as other hotels have become expensive across the board, it now feels like great value for money.

My spouse and I, both in our 50s, stayed for four nights with our dog. Since it was a late summer vacation, we were looking to relax, and we were able to spend a comfortable time with an ocean view and our dog by our side. The room had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to bring much. The provided cassette stove was very handy, and we could cook simple meals. The complimentary drinks in the evening were greatly appreciated. Nearby there’s a convenience store, Sasuke Shokudo (their fried horse mackerel set meal is great), and FISH where you can buy souvenirs—all within walking distance. It was also convenient that we could park right in front of the room. We’d love to stay again.

This was my second stay. I chose the plan for guests aged 50 and over, which included spiny lobster, abalone, and golden eye snapper. The meals were so delicious that I decided to return. Both the fish-focused dinner and the breakfast featuring spiny lobster miso soup and grilled horse mackerel were satisfying and filling. However, there were two things I found a bit disappointing this time. First, there was noise after 11:30 PM. It seemed to come from upstairs, possibly due to cleaning in the bath area. Other than that, it was very quiet, so the noise at night surprised me. Second, while they were preparing my futon bed, my coffee cup was taken away even though I had been using it. When I wanted to drink coffee later on but couldn’t find the cup anymore, it left me feeling disappointed. The staff serving breakfast were very pleasant and made for a nice departure experience overall. Since Awa-Kominato is one of my favorite places, I'll probably visit again in the future. Even if accommodations are not large-scale establishments, I'd like to choose based on their unique qualities each time!

Our first stay at this tropical hotel, and our grandchildren were thrilled! The room was spacious, and the ocean view was amazing. The large public bath wasn’t too hot, so the kids could soak and relax, and at dinner the staff were very kind. We also appreciated being able to enjoy the game arcade for 100 yen. We only wish we had come to stay here sooner.

Many of the staff were older, but they seemed very comfortable with guests and spoke to us in a friendly, casual way, which made me happy. The tempura chef is 72 years old!! You’d never guess it from how skillful and efficient he is. I was really impressed. I’d love to visit again.

We stayed at the official Hotel of Kamogawa Sea World, so we joined the nighttime aquarium tour!! Only guests staying at the official Hotel can participate, so we really enjoyed it! Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, delicious, and a lot of fun! We especially enjoyed the orca show and the white beluga show!! It’s an aquarium we definitely want to visit again!

The meals were thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. There were several library rooms inside the Hotel with an extensive selection of manga magazines, collected volumes, and general books; I could immerse myself in reading while looking out at the ocean. “Chospo” (Choshi Sports)

This was our first stay with our family of four and our Toy Poodle. Some Reviews mentioned that the property is old or has an odor, but once we arrived, we found the staff’s service, the meals, and the Facility to be more than satisfactory. We would like to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

I stayed here on my motorcycle, and it rained that day, so I wasn’t sure where to park it. They kindly let me store it in the warehouse, which was a huge help. Thank you. It would have been perfect if the Facility had a coin laundry! If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again.

Thank you for picking us up at the station—it was very helpful. The seafood dinner and kamameshi were incredibly delicious, and we ate a lot! The bath was wonderful, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. The front desk staff were also kind and helpful.

The food was outstanding. For dinner, the splendid alfonsino, abalone, and spiny lobster were all delicious, and the portions were more than we could finish. Breakfast was also excellent—the spiny lobster miso soup was especially tasty. The relaxation room offered free ice cream and coffee, as well as electric massage chairs. While the exterior and some common areas were not very clean, the guest rooms and dining area had been renovated.

Although it seems far from the station, it’s not an issue if you’re driving. We stayed without any particular complaints, and it felt like good value for money. There’s a convenience store next door, and you can walk to Yamato Sushi for dinner. In the morning, we recommend taking a walk across Naka-no-shima Bridge.

Our family trip with seven people was very relaxing. We also brought two dogs, and they had plenty of space to run around. Since we weren’t sure about the local garbage disposal rules, we did basic sorting and left the rest to the host. We’d love to stay again next time.

This spacious maisonette-style accommodation is comfortable even for four adults. Mornings are especially memorable—enjoying coffee on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waves. The beach is within walking distance, and taking the picnic set provided in the cabin made our time by the sea even better. It was a relaxing stay that let us forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

This was our third stay at Roof Yureya. No matter how many times we visit, the warm hospitality never changes, and it truly puts us at ease. The staff’s sense of distance is just right, and it feels so comforting—like coming home. Above all, the greatest charm is being able to spend plenty of “family time” that you could never experience at a Hotel. Instead of splitting up into separate Rooms, we can gather around the irori hearth, relax on the veranda, take a bath whenever we like, and enjoy the sauna or fireworks whenever we want. It’s a truly luxurious space where conversation naturally flows. We also appreciated being able to leave meals to the staff, which helped us forget the busyness of everyday life and spend unhurried time together as a family once again. We’d love to visit again in another season. Thank you as always for such a wonderful stay.

This was our second stay, following our visit this February. We were blessed with great weather and were able to enjoy a truly relaxing and wonderful time with my spouse and our two bulldogs. Our dogs were thrilled to run around on the sandy beach right in front of us and on the lawn within the property, and we also loved unwinding in the jet bath.
