Thank you for taking care of us in the top-floor Room. The service, food, and Room were all wonderful. If we have the opportunity to travel to Oita again, we would love to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

My first time at Myoban Onsen. I’m excited to be able to stay at Okamotoya, which is highly rated in guidebooks. I was very satisfied with the milky-blue water. The Room was just the right size for one person and had a great view, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dessert pudding and the orange juice at breakfast were especially appreciated since I don’t drink alcohol. Since this is a Multiple Night Stay, it really helped that they provided extra yukata and towels. Just one thing: at dinner on the first day, the rice and soup were a bit lukewarm (it was fine on the second day). Also, perhaps due to the season, the seating was quite close to other guests during meals, which made it a little hard to eat comfortably. Still, I’m so satisfied that I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Everything was spotless, and we had a very comfortable stay. The food was excellent—especially the sashimi, which was thick and delicious. It even included fugu sashimi, with my favorite skin served on the side, so I was completely satisfied. The bath was also thoroughly cleaned and truly pleasant to use. This time we couldn’t try the nearby Ryokan hot-spring tour, but we’d definitely like to do it next time.

Beppu for the first time in a year—and GAHAMA Terrace. Nothing to complain about; we had a very comfortable stay. I really do love this place. I also love the view from the maisonette—being at eye level with the sea is wonderful—but it might be better if the plants were trimmed a bit. I know they grow back quickly in summer, so it may be difficult, but from inside, having the ocean fill the entire window is simply perfect. We’ll visit again when it gets cooler. GAHAMA is amazing, and Beppu is amazing too.

I’ve stayed in many places, but this was the best. The Room was clean and well maintained, and the front desk staff were very polite and attentive. There are no meals provided, but they kindly recommended nearby restaurants. I definitely want to stay here again.

We truly enjoyed the delicious meals at both breakfast and dinner. The bath was also very comfortable. The ocean view from our Room and from the large public bath was especially beautiful and memorable. By chance, we were able to see fireworks, which delighted our granddaughter. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

An Accommodation I’d been looking forward to even before the trip! The Room felt luxurious yet relaxing, with tatami mats that made it especially comfortable. The welcome dango were also incredibly cute! Having a bath in the Room meant I could soak whenever I wanted—it felt wonderfully indulgent. On the second day, I planned to explore Oita from early morning, but I loved the Accommodation so much that I ended up staying until the very last minute before checkout. When I visit Oita again, I’d definitely love to come back.

My first stay at Sorakan. The first thing I loved was the welcome drinks. From 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, soft drinks, light sweets, and beer are all-you-can-drink. The Hotel is also very clean. The open-air Onsen bath was amazing too. The view is so relaxing. I also appreciated that there are smoking areas set up in several places. Sorakan’s dinner buffet was luxurious and delicious. For the all-you-can-drink options, you can even enjoy branded shochu and Dassai sake. With a short walk, you can also use Tanayu, and have fun at the pool as well. Not just Onsen—there’s also a game arcade, bowling, and karaoke to fully enjoy your time here. Just one thing... Even though it’s such a wonderful Hotel, the shampoo and conditioner weren’t great and left my hair dry and frizzy... It would be perfect if they provided better shampoo. Still, I’d like to stay at Sorakan again.

I stayed here with my mother, who is 90 years old. 1. All the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. 2. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including beef grilled on a lava stone plate, sashimi, fugu sashimi, and fried shrimp—everything was excellent and very satisfying. 3. The bath was very spacious and we fully enjoyed the Onsen, but it would have been even better if there had been a rock seat suitable for half-body bathing. 4. The building and our Room had been renovated, and everything was well cleaned and maintained—very nice overall. 5. Overall: This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

I’ve stayed at this Accommodation many times over the past few years! My favorite is the Room with a private pool, and I stayed in that one again this time. When I checked in and was shown to my Room, as soon as the door was opened, a housekeeping staff member (?) was inside working on something, with no particular apology… I was surprised and felt a bit disappointed at first…. It was also a little disappointing that some of the lights in the Room and by the pool were out. However, the wonderful Room and pool—and even the ocean—were so great that it made me forget about those things, and overall it was another excellent stay. There were plenty of towels too! The hair dryer was SALONIA, so I’d be happy if there were a higher-end dryer such as ReFa. For dinner, we ordered à la carte at Eitaro. Everything was delicious. The pasta and meat dishes were outstanding! And even though we ordered quite a lot, the food came quickly after ordering, which really helped us!! The abalone wasn’t salty, so we ate it with salt. I was truly happy that breakfast had lots of fruit—and it was delicious too! I also love the sauna in the large public bath; you can relax while listening to the sound of waves. Next time I made a Reservation for two nights at Gahama! I’m already looking forward to it. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again.

Staying in the detached room allowed us to relax without worrying too much about our dog’s barking disturbing others. We also finished all of our meals—they were delicious. We are also grateful to the staff for their sincere support during a late-night incident.

This time, I knew my schedule early and made a Reservation using the early-bird discount, so I was able to stay at a very reasonable rate. On top of that, they even upgraded our Room—it was truly wonderful. The all-inclusive plan, the thoughtful touches throughout the property, and fun ideas like making your own parfait for dessert after meals were everywhere, and I found it impressive. If I had to mention a few points: the lounge had become more of a children’s play area and wasn’t very relaxing; although the floors are tatami-mat style, it was a bit hard to walk on and I wished there were slippers; and while the key is cute, I’m used to auto-lock doors so having to lock it manually felt like an extra step. Still, their hospitality was truly outstanding.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and were kind to our children. The breakfast and the in-room dinner via room service were both delicious—everything was perfect. We have stayed at several InterContinental Hotels, and among them, the service at InterContinental Hotel Beppu was outstanding. We were truly moved to find a Hotel we want to return to for the first time in a long while.

Although check-in is set for later, I was able to leave my luggage with no problem. I relaxed with some tea at the café in front of the front desk, went sightseeing, then came back to check in. I had made a Reservation for a single Room, but they kindly upgraded me to a slightly larger Room, and thanks to that I had a comfortable two-night stay. The free-flowing Onsen soothed my body, and breakfast offered a good variety; there were also some menu changes from the first day, so I enjoyed it. It was my first time visiting Beppu to attend an event, and I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

Despite being in Beppu City, this Accommodation is wonderfully quiet. Because it’s a small Accommodation, we didn’t run into anyone at all. We were told the building is old, but it has been fully renovated—the Room and baths were outstanding. Truly lovely. The amenities are well stocked, and there’s also a coffee machine. All drinks in the refrigerator are free as well. If your Room doesn’t have an in-room bath, you can use one of the three private baths. They are not by Reservation—if one is available, you can use it. Personally, I recommend “Nadeshiko.” The changing area is stylish and really lifts your mood! I was able to relax and enjoy it with my husband without any worries. Meals are served in your Room, which is rare these days. Everything was brought at just the right timing. Every dish was carefully prepared and genuinely delicious. We couldn’t finish everything, so they packed the yellowtail and wild vegetable rice for a late-night snack. And checkout is at 11:00! We’re grateful we could stay until the very last minute. I’ve stayed at some fairly nice Accommodations in Yufuin as well, but this Accommodation felt like a much better value and was far more comfortable. I highly recommend it for couples, married couples, and families with small children.

The building is old, but it’s clean and has a nice feel. If the weather is clear, a walk along the seaside would be great. You can also use the rooftop open-air bath anytime during your stay. Breakfast was a good portion and very tasty. However, it seems the menu doesn’t change even for a Multiple Night Stay, so keep that in mind. There’s also a Royal Host next door, so you won’t have any trouble. The Room is spacious enough for the price, but the sofa is small, so it’s hard for two people to relax comfortably together. Staying at a luxury Ryokan and enjoying an upscale Hotel experience is nice too, but Beppu has been getting more lively lately—so I think it’s also fun to stay at a great-value Hotel like this one and enjoy nightlife around town. I’d like to drop by again sometime.

My first time in Beppu Onsen. Everyone provided courteous service, and I was completely satisfied with all the Onsen facilities. If I had to mention one thing, as an older man I couldn’t figure out how to use the hair dryer. All the meals were delicious, but I would have been happy if there were a few more Kyushu-style dishes. If I have a chance to visit Beppu again, I’d like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

This time, on my first visit to Beppu during Golden Week, I stayed in a non-smoking twin Room under the Standard Plan. The hotel is conveniently located near Beppu Station, with easy access. I arrived early due to my flight schedule, and it was a great place to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. On top of that, our Room was upgraded to a family Room! The two of us enjoyed the luxury of using a four-person Room. Both the property and the Room were kept very clean, and we were able to relax after sightseeing and drinks. The next morning the weather was bad so we couldn’t see the sunrise, but we fully enjoyed the bath and even the after-bath services. I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next trip back to Oita.

This was my fourth stay. It’s a wonderful Hotel with great value: an Onsen public bath, unlimited welcome drinks in the lounge until night, and above all, an excellent breakfast. I did notice the limited amenities, but given the outstanding cost performance, it may be unavoidable as a cost-saving measure. However, I would like to see improvement regarding the drinking water in the public bath being unavailable (it may have just been out of order that day). I usually choose a Plan with dinner and breakfast, and for the selectable dinner I ate at “Toyotsune,” but since their station-front branch across from the Hotel is currently closed, this time I chose breakfast only. The breakfast features Oita specialties such as freshly fried tempura from a live kitchen and “Ryukyu,” and you can also make a luxurious TKG using the branded egg “Ran-O.” Even the miso soup included Kurome seaweed from Oita, with a rich dashi flavor. It’s such an impressive spread that I look forward to it every time. The Room was also clean and comfortable with a smart TV. Thank you again for this stay.
