The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. The Room was clean, and the bath was very relaxing. There were plenty of drinks and snacks provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the rice-based dishes.

The female staff member at reception during check-in impressed me with her proactive, exemplary hospitality. I stay at Hotels for a change of pace, and this Hotel made me feel at ease in every way—facilities, staff, and overall comfort—with no small discomforts. It was part of the Plan, but I gladly took them up on it and stayed for 24 hours. At reception, they said, “Please let us know if there is anything you need,” showing a positive attitude. At the restaurant as well: “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” They even asked, “Did you sleep well?” You don’t often hear that elsewhere. It had been a while since I stayed at a major international chain Hotel, and their training truly showed. The Room design is also charming. I can see why it’s popular with guests from both Japan and abroad.

The Room has a calm atmosphere. The meals are delicious with a wide variety—so much that you’ll have trouble deciding what to eat. There is a free drink service, with many beverage options. The bath is spacious, and there are plenty of washing stations, making it very comfortable. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Thank you very much for letting us stay in such a spacious Room! We were able to spend our time in the Room feeling truly pampered. I was happy to receive a cold towel at check-in, and even though the front desk was busy, you assisted us right away. Everyone’s wonderful smiles warmed our hearts. We were able to relax deeply in the Onsen and felt our everyday fatigue melt away. Thank you very much!

I stayed for a total of two nights and was able to work comfortably. There was a desk and chair, and the chair was comfortable to sit in. From noon, there was a time when I could enjoy sweets, tea, coffee, and more, and from the evening there was a time when I could enjoy alcohol and snacks—making for a pleasant change of pace between work sessions.

Thank you for taking care of me during my stay in Kyoto. Once again, I was able to relax both body and mind and head home feeling refreshed. As always, I felt at ease thanks to your consistently high-quality service. This is a special stay as a reward to myself every few months. I look forward to staying with you again. This is my second stay. After my previous stay, I mentioned a small concern in a comment, and I received a prompt reply, which left a very positive impression and made me want to stay again. During this second visit, I was warmly asked at check-in if there was anything they could help with, which made me glad I came. The hallway leading to the Room and the interior atmosphere were both excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

I stay here several times a year and keep coming back—the natural aroma scents and carefully selected ingredients soothe me every time. The new summer welcome drink, which wasn’t available before, looked refreshing and was gentle on the body. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, I was able to try all three syrups. Mint when I want to feel refreshed, cinnamon when my stomach feels tired, and red shiso when I feel like I might lose to the summer heat—each cup was truly comforting. I hope this becomes a regular offering from now on. The spiced chai at breakfast also felt uniquely special and was delicious.

I was finally able to stay at Hotel Granvia, which I had long hoped to do, and I was very satisfied. Because of the heavy rain, I wasn’t sure if I could make it, but I arrived safely and was shown to my Room. It was an upgraded Room with a view of Kyoto Tower. Champagne and dinner in the Room, a whole cake, and a Japanese breakfast in the morning—everything was worth more than the price. The service was excellent!! With the perk of a 24-hour stay, this has become one Hotel I definitely want to stay at again next time I’m here. Thank you for taking such good care of me—I truly appreciate it.

It was a very cozy Hotel. The delicious breakfast, the staff’s warm smiles, and the clean Room—everything offered service and quality beyond the price. Because of the rain, we spent more time at the Hotel, but it was very comfortable. When I visit Kyoto again, I would definitely like to stay here.

I was hardly bothered by noise from the neighboring Room. The Room is small, so there’s limited closet space for hanging clothes, and it would have been nice to have a small set of drawers… but it’s not an expensive Room where I can really complain, and it was only two nights. There’s no free drinking water in the Room, but that’s on me for not reading the Reviews. The best part… breakfast. A few dishes were quite strongly seasoned and made me think “Huh?”, but overall it was delicious. The tofu dishes in particular were great—I’d love to have them again. A good Hotel in a convenient location near the station—very satisfying.

We stayed to celebrate my partner’s birthday. In our Room, there were welcome fruits, a towel cake and cake for the birthday celebration, and a message card from the Hotel staff. I initially wondered if paying around 100,000 yen for one night in Kyoto—an easy day trip—might be a bit too extravagant, but we also received Hotel credit as an IKYU Gold member benefit, and overall it turned out to be a very satisfying stay. We enjoyed the Hotel activities and the bath facilities, and I was also happy with the daruma we received when leaving. After turndown service, the soft drinks in the refrigerator had been replenished as well. These days more Hotels don’t even offer turndown service, so I felt that Six Senses really takes care of those details—exactly as you’d expect. For me it was definitely a splurge stay, but since our satisfaction level was high, I’d love to come back again when I have the chance.

From the moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was captivated by a space where FAUCHON’s glamorous, refined world blends beautifully with Kyoto’s elegant and tranquil sense of aesthetics. I felt that the unique atmosphere—where FAUCHON harmonizes with Kyoto’s traditional culture—is a distinctive charm found only at this Hotel. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to enjoy dinner this time, but I did have breakfast at the top-floor restaurant. In the morning, as I entered the sophisticated space bathed in brilliant light, a beautiful view of Higashiyama unfolded before me, and I found myself completely absorbed by the stunning scenery. Breakfast enjoyed amid the openness unique to the top floor was exceptional, making my stay in Kyoto even richer and more memorable. The top-floor restaurant is known as a place where guests can enjoy their meal along with spectacular views. I was also deeply impressed by the staff’s attentive and warm hospitality. Through each thoughtful gesture, I could truly feel how much they value their guests, and it made my stay extremely comfortable. This stay was not merely Accommodation, but a special experience of fine cuisine, culture, and high-quality time. When I visit Kyoto again, I would love to stay here once more. It was an unforgettable stay where Parisian elegance and Kyoto’s charm were beautifully in harmony.

The Hotel, located just steps from Kyoto Station, exudes luxury, and the lobby blends modern design with a distinctly Kyoto atmosphere. I initially had a concern about my Room, and when I called, the front desk staff responded immediately and arranged a Room change. I was truly grateful. Thanks to that, I was able to relax and fully enjoy my stay at the Hotel. As expected of a top-class Hotel, they proposed the best solution from the guest’s perspective, and it was a moment that truly reflected their hospitality. Every dish at the breakfast buffet was delicious, and with such a wide selection, my friend and I were very satisfied as we talked about coming back together to try what we couldn’t eat this time. In particular, the smoothies were excellent—my friend was genuinely impressed. It was an extremely satisfying stay, and this has become one of the Hotels I will definitely return to.

I stayed here again on a trip to Kyoto with my daughter. As always, I was completely satisfied with the hospitality, the food, and the location. In every situation, the staff’s service was truly outstanding. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

I stayed for one night due to my child’s schedule. It was really close to the station, very clean, and both the bath and breakfast were excellent. (I needed to go toward Kyoto University, and I was lucky to find a bus stop very nearby.) Highly recommended.

Even though it was the day of the Gion Festival Yamaboko Junko parade and there were many guests, I had a comfortable stay. I went to the Onsen early, so it wasn’t crowded and I could relax. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious—I ended up eating too much. I would like to stay again.

Quiet and reassuring. Impeccably clean. From the stairs to the lobby, every space reflects the owner’s attention to detail. My favorite is the wraparound balcony—spending Kyoto’s magic hour here always leaves me feeling quietly happy.
