We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs. We would definitely like to stay again.

The meals, hospitality, Room, views, and bath—everything made for a wonderful stay. I have never had rice this delicious before. The tea was also excellent, and the grilled dried horse mackerel at breakfast was outstanding. In any case, I’m adding this Accommodation to my top five places I want to stay again. I hope to visit again someday. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Although it was only for one night, I was able to relax deeply. As rumored, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, everyone’s hospitality was excellent, and the Room was wonderful. I’m truly glad I chose to stay here. The Hotel staff were wonderful, and the food and baths were excellent!

This was my long-admired Accommodation, and my first visit. I was truly able to relax in a space where all I could see from the Room was greenery, and all I could hear were the calls of cicadas. The two large public baths had slightly different temperatures between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, so even I, who am not fond of very hot water, could choose what suited me. The meals also featured seasonal ingredients beautifully and were absolutely delicious. I sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality. I would love to return in a different season.

This was a high-quality Accommodation where you could truly appreciate the chef’s excellent sense of taste in both the quality and quantity of the food. The bath was also wonderful and left a strong impression on me. I was particularly struck by a Nepalese female staff member who spoke Japanese well; she looked worried because a local bridge in her hometown had been washed away in a landslide disaster in Nepal.

I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

We were thoroughly satisfied with the many delicious, beautifully presented dishes that captured the transition from summer to autumn. We enjoyed them in a private dining Room with a waterfall right in front of us. We stayed in a detached suite called Suirei, where a small stream runs through the Room. From the spacious open-air bath, there is another smaller open-air bath just down a few steps; each has a different temperature, so you can soak for as long as you like. The garden was also expansive, and we were able to fully enjoy summer and feel refreshed. Thank you very much for celebrating our 60th birthday with us. I hope to visit again even when I’m a grandmother.

This was our first trip together, and we stayed here to celebrate her birthday. The Room and service were excellent, but above all, we were truly impressed by the meals. Both breakfast and dinner were a wonderful experience. We would definitely like to stay again.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. We had a very pleasant stay at this long-established Ryokan, with attentive service, carefully prepared dishes, spacious rooms, and tasteful furnishings that were elegant without being overdone. We especially loved the open-air bath with just the right temperature, set close to the mountains. We would definitely like to stay again.

While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. Everything—from the cuisine and the Onsen to the private dining room prepared for our meals—was wonderful, and we were able to truly relax from the bottom of our hearts. The food in particular was exceptional; each dish reflected careful craftsmanship, leaving us deeply satisfied. Above all, the Onsen was truly outstanding, and we enjoyed it three times during our stay. The water felt wonderfully gentle on the skin, bringing a soothing warmth that seemed to melt away tension from deep within. We were able to fully savor the blessings of Yugawara’s hot springs. The comforting afterglow lingered long after bathing—it was a genuinely healing experience. Thanks to you, this became a very memorable stay. We would love to visit again.

We were completely satisfied with everything—location, Room, meals, and service. The location is outstanding, with a full view of the ocean. The newly renovated Room was spacious and extremely clean, and we enjoyed a luxurious half-day of relaxation indoors. At night, we could even watch fireworks in the direction of Atami from the balcony. The Hotel meals were also delicious. The plate for young children was prepared with gentle flavors, which felt very reassuring. Also, since I am pregnant, I asked to avoid raw foods; instead of simply cooking them through, they were served with perfectly judged heat that brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. We were truly impressed by such thoughtful attention to detail. There is a beach about a 7-minute walk away, and we had a great time swimming in the sea with our child (we didn’t use it this time, but there is also a pool on the property). It was an Accommodation I can confidently recommend.

I stayed for one night on September 4. Due to the typhoon, it rained all day, but I was extremely satisfied with everything—the convenient location near the station, the Onsen, the guest room (2F Japanese-modern style), the meals, and the service. The other guests staying that day also had a refined atmosphere. A good Hotel really is good. I usually only travel on a budget, so this was quite a culture shock for me. I will definitely return, and I’d like to try other Forest Resort affiliated Hotels as well.

Despite the inconvenience, you kindly provided Shuttle Service for one member of our family. Thank you as well for preparing such a wonderful Room for us. Both breakfast and dinner were carefully prepared and delicious. Thank you to the proprietress and all the staff for your kindness. We would love to stay again.

The beer was delicious right after we arrived! We enjoyed beer and wine while waiting to check in. The panoramic sauna was amazing. Dinner was also great—the roast beef was truly delicious. The bath on the first floor was nice too, with a sauna and a cold plunge. For breakfast, it was disappointing that there was no yogurt or boiled eggs. Anyway, it was a wonderful stay at the Accommodation! We’re looking forward to visiting again.

This Accommodation made me wish I could have extended my stay if I hadn’t had work the next day. From the parking guidance on arrival through to check-out, we received warm and pleasant hospitality. As it is a Ryokan with only a few Rooms, it felt very private, and we hardly ever shared the Onsen with other guests. It was a wonderful escape from everyday life and left us feeling refreshed. We would love to visit again.

This was my first stay in Yugawara Onsen. The water is quite hot, which I personally like. The dishes were beautifully plated and a delight to look at as well. We were also very grateful to the staff who assisted us during meals—they were always smiling and very attentive. This isn’t specific to this Hotel, but regarding children’s meals: when we choose Child Sharing Existing Bedding and order only the meal, most places serve something like a kids’ set. Even if it’s paid, we would really appreciate having the option to choose just rice and miso soup. Our 2-year-old was kindly provided rice and miso soup free of charge. For our 5-year-old, we felt it wouldn’t be right not to order a meal, so we did—but we would be very thankful if there were options to choose from. I don’t want to end up finishing what my child leaves behind instead of enjoying the wonderful food myself—an admittedly selfish request. The dried horse mackerel at breakfast was absolutely delicious. We look forward to staying again when we visit Yugawara.

I first stayed here in January 2026, and this was my second visit. This time I returned in the season of fresh greenery, and along the several dozen meters from the accommodation building to the separate Onsen building, white citrus blossoms were in full bloom. I was able to enjoy their sweet fragrance while soaking in the Onsen. It’s wonderful that each season brings new discoveries. The meals were consistently high quality, and I was satisfied with both the taste and portion size.
