As last year, I stayed at Sekisuitei with a friend.
My friend, who lives outside Hokkaido, stayed here last year and it seems to have become a favorite Hotel.
They especially liked that the dinner buffet includes Jingisukan, and that while the Onsen isn’t particularly large, it has an open-air bath and several different baths.
(Each one is set to a different temperature.)
At the Hotel, we enjoyed soaking in the Onsen many times. From our Room, we could hear the sound of a nearby river (or maybe a small stream), which was very relaxing.
We used the Shuttle Service bus, and thanks to the driver’s polite service and careful driving, we felt safe throughout.
If possible, I would like the Sapporo departure time to be 1:00 PM.
With a 2:00 PM departure, arrival at the Hotel is around 4:00 PM, and by the time you get into your Room and settle in, it’s already about 5:00 PM. It’s disappointing not being able to do any sightseeing around Noboribetsu town.
