The building is old but kept clean, so there were no issues. The bath includes an open-air bath where you can relax while enjoying the night sky and ocean in a private setting. Dinner was very hearty, featuring Chita beef, Ise lobster, sashimi, sushi, and octopus rice—truly satisfying. The buffet-style breakfast was also delicious. The staff at the accommodation were extremely kind. The fluffy and warm futon was excellent as well. The return shuttle service felt like a thrilling roller coaster ride! I had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed my stay. I would love to come back again. Thank you very much!

We reserved Trunk to spend time with my son's family (a couple and three children under 5) who have been living in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture since last April. Including our group of four, we were a total of nine people. The property was recently renovated, very clean, and had beds as well as a loft that delighted the children. Since dining out can be challenging with small children, we purchased groceries at a supermarket in Mitoyo City and prepared dinner and breakfast ourselves. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped with utensils and appliances, which was very convenient. Although there is no bathtub—only showers—it was summer, so this posed no issue for us. The property is located in an industrial area by the sea but has a drugstore right in front where you can buy food and other necessities. There are also two convenience stores nearby, making it easy to stay comfortably without inconvenience. For sightseeing, Chichibugahama Beach and Tsushima Shrine are close by; Kotohira-gu Shrine (Konpira-san) or Zenigata Sunae Sand Art are accessible with a short drive. For fishing enthusiasts, the Shonai Peninsula offers many excellent fishing spots that make this location ideal as a base. We would love to stay here again when visiting my son's family next time!

We went on a four-generation family trip. Everyone was happy, and we’d love to come again. My 9-year-old son said the udon-making experience was the best (haha).

Barbecue facilities were available, and it was amazing. We had a wonderful New Year's experience.

This was our second stay, following our visit in March this year. With a spacious living room with beautiful sunset views, a comfortable kitchen, a relaxing massage chair, and a sauna, our whole family was very satisfied and able to unwind. The grandchildren were delighted with the morning harvest experience in the owner’s garden. The caretaker was also very pleasant—this is an Accommodation we’d love to return to.

As soon as we stepped inside, we were amazed by the gorgeous interior and how much closer the ocean was than we had imagined. The ocean view was truly breathtaking—an experience you don’t often get. The welcome drinks at check-in came in many varieties, which made it feel special and was perfect hospitality on a hot day. Both dinner and breakfast were prepared at the time we requested, so we could relax. For dinner, the BBQ included local meats, seafood, vegetables, and more, with explanations provided for each item. It was our first time using this type of grill, but the staff kindly showed us how to use it, so even beginners could grill everything deliciously with confidence. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and we were very satisfied with dinner. We usually have to prepare everything ourselves for a BBQ (including cleanup), so it was great that the Hotel took care of everything. After dinner, we enjoyed coffee while watching the sunset. Three types of coffee beans and an electric grinder were provided, along with instructions on how to use the grinder and recommended grind sizes—so we could enjoy freshly brewed coffee and spend a truly special time. There was a jacuzzi on the terrace bath area, and our kids were thrilled since it was their first time. The amenities for children included cute dolphin toothbrushes and sponges, which they loved. For adults, there were ReFa shower heads as well as a hair dryer, hair iron/curling iron tools? , hair oil? etc., leaving our hair smoother than usual—we were delighted. The croissants and roast beef at breakfast were also delicious. We would definitely like to stay again.

As there are very few clean Hotels in Nanki, I truly appreciate Fairfield for providing a stay where I didn’t notice any dust or dirt. I hope you will continue to do so for many years to come.

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

Three family members in our 70s stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. It’s a Showa-era building, but the Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We could also see a beautiful sunrise from the Room. The location was great, and we took an early-morning walk to Amanohashidate. For dinner, we chose the chef’s omakase Amanohashidate kaiseki course served in our Room, but it was far too much for us in our 70s and we felt sorry for leaving some of it. In hindsight, we should have asked about the menu before choosing the course. The bath had one tub and I recall there were seven or eight faucets and showers. It’s on the small side. It seemed that the men’s bath on the day we stayed was even smaller. The front desk staff answered our questions in a friendly manner. Overall, I think it offers very good value for money.

[Note: Room Condition] I stayed for a 4-night Multiple Night Stay in a 15-tatami Japanese-style Room with No Meals Included. It felt like using a futon set up in a small banquet hall of a day-use Onsen Facility. I was initially concerned that there was no toilet in the Room, but it was clean and I didn’t run into anyone during my stay, so it wasn’t an issue. Fresh towels, amenities, and very tasty tea snacks were delivered every day. For dinner, I could freely choose depending on my mood—warming up convenience-store food in the microwave or having meals delivered from the dining hall. If I asked, they brought cups and ice as well, and all the staff were pleasant, which made it very relaxing. I love traveling and have stayed at many Accommodations, but this became one of my favorites.

This was my first stay. Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of side dishes and generous portions, which was great. The meat in particular was delicious. From the Room, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. The bath is not an Onsen, but it is spacious, and morning bathing is also available. It was disappointing that the Accommodation did not have a refrigerator and only provided 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner.

I visit Miyako Island every year, but I never realized there was such a beautiful villa on Ikema Island. As shown in the images on IKYU's "Accommodation Introduction," the red-tiled roof and white walls of the building stood out beautifully against the blue sky and sea. The exterior alone was breathtaking, but the ocean view from the room was stunning as well. The private pool seemed to be one of the largest on Miyako Island, spacious and deep enough for adults to swim comfortably, with crystal-clear water that was incredibly clean. While some furnishings in the building and room felt slightly aged, they added charm and made for a comfortable stay. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, making it a very pleasant experience overall. Next time, I hope to visit during a warmer season when the water temperature is more comfortable. This property is originally a private wedding venue and is only occasionally available for stays when no weddings are being held. There is no pool, but there is a dreamlike chapel that feels like paradise; with staff permission, you may visit and take photos. The rooms and service are excellent, the food is delicious, and it’s the perfect place to relax in comfort.

The Room was very clean and comfortable. The view was also great. We were able to relax without worrying, even when the kids were being noisy. It was a hot day, so we really appreciated that the air conditioning had already been set when we checked in. We used a nearby Onsen at night, and took a bath here in the morning. A morning bath while looking out at the sea was wonderful.

As a design Hotel, the interior is very stylish. The amenities and Room temperature are just right, and I think it's a good location for sightseeing in the city.

It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I chose this place for the location, price, and villa-style setup, and it was excellent. Having a washing machine and detergent provided was truly appreciated! There’s also a water tap near the entrance, which was helpful for rinsing off dirt. I was looking forward to breakfast as well since it’s a sister restaurant of a famous spot! You choose from a set menu, and everything was delicious. It also comes with a drink bar and soup bar. It made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

We stayed as a couple. The bath had excellent water quality, and we were able to enjoy a very relaxing soak. We have stayed at various Accommodations in the past, but the cuisine at Juraku was truly delicious. Not only dinner but also breakfast was wonderful—everything was so good that I can’t even list what stood out most. As for alcohol, there was an all-you-can-drink service between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm (including during dinner), which was perfect for us as we love drinks! The staff were kind, and their polite service made us feel comfortable. Another highlight worth mentioning is the guest room key. It is an automatic locking/unlocking system, and the solid security made us feel safe throughout our stay. This was our first time staying in Obama Onsen, and it was an Accommodation we were very satisfied with. We would love to stay again. Also, the sunset during dinner was beautiful! Thank you very much.

I recently stayed at “Garden Above the Sky” for 2 nights and 3 days. The moment I stepped into the living and dining area, I was blown away by the dramatic Yatsugatake views filling the entire wall of large windows. The spacious living room was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the bathroom was wonderfully open—simply outstanding. The kitchen is truly professional-grade, with excellent Facilities, and I really enjoyed spending time cooking. In the beautifully maintained English garden, my dog (a French Bulldog) was thrilled and ran around happily. Mountain weather changes its mood every 15 minutes or so, but simply watching it shift from the terrace or indoors was a luxurious experience that never got old. This is a special Accommodation where you can forget everyday life and feel completely refreshed in both body and mind. I would love to visit again.

We were very satisfied with the views, the meals, and the staff’s service. Cold water was available before and after bathing, and the Room was kept very clean. There were some insects floating in the open-air bath, but that is to be expected at an Accommodation in the mountains; anyone who complains about it has forgotten that they are in nature. We would like to stay again.
