For this price, the quality is excellent—great value for money. The room was spacious enough and had a terrace, which was very relaxing. With the window open, you can hear the sound of the waves—it’s soothing. When turning in from the main road, the lane is narrow, so drivers should be careful. The Hotel is tucked away further in. It’s a small, quiet Hotel that I highly recommend. It may look like there’s nothing around, but if you walk a bit you’ll find great izakayas and yakiniku restaurants nearby, so we were very satisfied. I’d love to stay at this Hotel again.

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. About a 15-minute taxi ride from the nearest Miyaji Station, it’s accessible even without a car. The atmosphere is simply outstanding. Dining with the majestic Aso mountains and endless grasslands as your backdrop is truly irreplaceable. The Facility feels like a hotel restaurant in the American West. As it’s located on a ranch, there are plenty of horses on the premises, and of course you can also enjoy horseback riding experiences. With good weather, you should be able to catch the sunset sinking into the vast Aso landscape, a sky full of stars, and refreshing sunrise views with seas of clouds. There is also a large public bath. It’s a bit small, but it includes a dry sauna and cold plunge pool—perfect for unwinding while looking out over the Aso grasslands. It’s slightly disappointing that there’s no outdoor air-bath space (for safety reasons, the windows are kept fully closed), but you can still spot horses in the distance. Depending on the Plan, private time slots may be available as well, making it convenient for families.

Even when we arrived early 10 years ago on a family trip, they kindly let us use the pool. This time we stayed as a couple, and just like 10 years ago, all the staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay here again. Three family members in our 70s stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. It’s a Showa-era building, but the Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We could also see a beautiful sunrise from the Room. The location was great, and we took an early-morning walk to Amanohashidate. For dinner, we chose the chef’s omakase Amanohashidate kaiseki course served in our Room, but it was far too much for us in our 70s and we felt sorry for leaving some of it. In hindsight, we should have asked about the menu before choosing the course. The bath had one tub and I recall there were seven or eight faucets and showers. It’s on the small side. It seemed that the men’s bath on the day we stayed was even smaller. The front desk staff answered our questions in a friendly manner. Overall, I think it offers very good value for money.

It feels a bit old, but that’s part of the charm. The Onsen was amazing! I could drink as much beer as I wanted, enjoy plenty of snacks, and relax in a calm atmosphere. It truly felt like we were visiting right in the middle of nature, which was fantastic. This time we planned a 6-day trip, and I’m glad we started on day one at this Accommodation!!

Whenever I visit Ikeshima, I always stay at Jisuko Hotel Saikai. The views are wonderful, and the Room and bathroom are always clean—this is the main reason I choose this Hotel. This time there was a minor issue with my reserved Room, and you kindly moved me to another one. Thank you for your flexible support. I will stay here again.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

I was traveling solo and looking for an Accommodation in Kushimoto. The location felt perfect, so I made a Reservation. We exchanged emails in advance, and I was able to share my requests. It’s just a short turn off National Route 42 (about 20 m), but there’s a sign, so it was easy to find. The building has a lovely Western-style feel. I arrived in the evening, and the sunset was perfectly timed—truly impressive. When I went inside, the friendly owner welcomed me and helped me check in. Maybe because I was hungry, but the meal was incredibly delicious! Of course the fish was great, and the fried chicken and side dishes were also well prepared. The Room is simple and stylish, just like in the photos on the site. Above all, the large window is amazing—you can enjoy a panoramic ocean view from the Room. I slept soundly at night and had a very comfortable stay. It seems you can also enjoy marine activities here, so next time I’d love to come back with my family or even as a larger group with several families! The owner was cheerful and easy to talk to as well. Thank you very much!

I hesitated a bit because it seemed more geared toward younger guests, but my old friend and I took a two-person trip just to relax somewhere with an ocean view. All the staff were kind and provided attentive service. This time we stayed in a cottage, and the ocean views were amazing both from the wooden deck and from the Room. We had BBQ for dinner on the wooden deck, and they kindly guided us then as well, so we had a great time. For breakfast, we were impressed by their commitment to using vegetables and eggs from 753. Next time, we’ll stay here with our family. Thank you very much.

I have stayed at this Accommodation several times many years ago as well. The large public bath was excellent then too—spacious and clean, and it really helped relieve fatigue. This time, the Room had been renovated and was very clean, so I was able to relax and rest well. However, compared to before, the amenities and welcome drink were no longer provided, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I enjoyed the meals as they were delicious.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

The machiya-style Accommodation was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and easy to use, and the bed was fluffy, so I slept very well. The sea is nearby, and the quiet, charming streetscape made it a relaxing place to stay. The stairs were steep and a little scary, but it also added to the machiya atmosphere, which I appreciated.

We stayed here during summer vacation with three generations of our family. They arranged our Rooms next to each other and emailed us the meal times in advance, so we felt at ease even before our stay. When we arrived, the staff were very courteous. The view from the window was amazing!!! I thought the meal might be too much, but it was delicious and we enjoyed everything all the way to dessert. The pineapple pudding dessert was especially tasty. When we told them we were going to Inuyama Castle the next day, they printed a map of the area for us and also helped set up table tennis—thank you so much. The Facility is a little old, but our satisfaction more than made up for it!! We would definitely like to stay again.

One night with breakfast and dinner I stayed here on the final day of my journey of land purification and integration. This seaside Accommodation offers an Onsen bath, delicious meals, and warm hospitality from the owner. Thank you very much.

It was clean, and the living space was just the right size. The rate was comparable to a Business Hotel, so I decided to stay without hesitation. Like a condominium, it has a kitchen area, a washing machine, and separate bath and toilet facilities, so I felt it would be convenient even for long-term stays. I would like to use it again.

Every year, I take a solo trip on my birthday, and this year I visited the Oki Islands for the first time. I made a last-minute Reservation while watching the weather forecast, but I was able to enjoy the Rosoku Island cruise in perfect weather. The Hotel may feel a bit dated, but it was spotless and well maintained, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious no matter what I tried. The large rock oysters paired perfectly with sake, making it an incredibly luxurious trip.

I considered booking a Hotel in Ishigaki Island, but I was drawn to the idea of "one group per day" and made the Reservation. The result was absolutely satisfying! The fact that we could enjoy BBQ was amazing, and they even provided insect repellent and BBQ equipment. Such thoughtful hospitality! The Facility was very clean, with even a washing machine and dryer available! It rained during our stay, so having these amenities really helped as we were struggling with laundry. One minor downside about the Facility is the hairdryer—it had very weak airflow but got extremely hot. If there were details about the hairdryer provided beforehand, I could have brought my own or prepared accordingly. We caused some inconvenience during our stay, but they kindly contacted us each time and treated us with great kindness. If I visit Ishigaki Island again, I would definitely want to stay here!

I stay in this area about three times a week and had all my meals at my usual restaurants, so I didn’t use the kitchen much but recall that the cutlery was well-stocked. Although there were some minor issues, my stay was generally comfortable. I plan to visit again when it gets warmer!

We ended up staying for two nights on short notice at the end of summer. For the past 7–8 years, we’ve stayed every year at similar places around Kamakura and Hayama, but this was our first time here—and our whole family agreed it was the best by far. Every Room was stylish and spotless, and the theater Room in particular was amazing—we all enjoyed watching movies together. Morito Beach is just a short walk away, and everything you need is nearby. We spent three days saying we wanted to move here as a family, and on the last day we had to calm down the kids who didn’t want to leave before heading home in tears. Due to our lack of communication, you had to make unnecessary preparations, and even after we left some luggage arrived—causing you a lot of trouble—but you handled everything very kindly. We would love to stay again if we have the chance. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.
