I made a Reservation under a Plan that included access to a nearby Onsen Facility, but I was told it was a 10-minute drive away, so I requested a refund and felt really disappointed.\nHowever, I was truly impressed by the hospitality afterward.\nThe seafood grill included oysters, abalone, and crab, and everything was delicious.\nThat day, one young woman took care of us on her own. During our conversation, I mentioned that my second son had come with me during his birthday break.\nAs a surprise birthday gesture, she decorated a pudding and celebrated with us.\nThe miso soup was also delicious—I even had seconds.\nI really appreciated the warm hospitality.

We stayed for one night with two families because we had plans nearby. The Room was very clean, and despite being a dog-friendly Accommodation, there was absolutely no dog smell. It made us feel that both the guests and the cleaning are of a high standard. With so few places where you can stay freely with a dog, this Accommodation was truly appreciated.

A Wonderful, Clean, and Comfortable Villa the Whole Family Loved Since it was newly built last year, it was very clean and spotless, and we had a truly pleasant stay. It was spacious enough, well stocked with amenities, and overall we were extremely satisfied! This time we brought three dogs with us. Because there’s also a dog run on site, they could play freely—and we were very happy too! We really appreciated how comfortable it was to stay here with pets. The pool was large enough to feel luxurious for private use, and our grandchildren (ages 6 and 1) were thrilled. They played to their hearts’ content and looked like they were having an amazing time! We thought it would be even better if the BBQ area had a roof. This time we brought our own tarp from home, so the sun wasn’t an issue and we could enjoy BBQ comfortably. Also, since the surrounding area is made up of regular homes, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t set off fireworks. The staff member who greeted us at check-in/check-out was very kind—speaking gently to our grandchildren and even chatting about rhinoceros beetles. That warm hospitality made us very happy, and we felt comfortable all the way through our stay. Space, cleanliness, facilities/amenities, pool, dog run—everything exceeded expectations! It was a wonderful villa where both our family and our dogs could enjoy a great time together. A truly lovely Accommodation that made us want to stay again.

We stayed here for a girls’ trip with five friends. It’s a whole-house rental, and the entire place is new and spotless! The interior and furniture are so stylish and cute that we were excited the moment we walked in. The owner was also kind and attentive, which made us feel at ease. You can see the ocean from the terrace, and the surrounding hills and fields create a truly relaxing atmosphere. Since it’s set slightly back from the main road, it was nice and quiet as well. When we visit Awaji Island again, we’d love to stay here again! Thank you very much for everything.

Overall, I was very satisfied. The meals were especially excellent. The service was also great, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I’ve been a guest since the former Kasumi Terrace days, and I’m happy to see it back. This time, instead of my usual takeout dinner, I used the kitchen to cook (though I only grilled some meat…). After cycling, I was able to relax and recover by soaking in the bathtub. Great value for money—excellent stay. I’ll be back!

What’s fascinating about Nana’s philosophy is how deliberately it reduces “information density.” Even with just a one-night stay, I could clearly feel the Accommodation’s concept: 1) No excessive signage or posters inside 2) No filling the space with background music 3) Avoiding harsh lighting 4) Minimizing digital noise as much as possible Through the space, sound, light, and service, it conveyed the idea that “silence isn’t emptiness—it’s a state where only what’s necessary remains.” The staff were outstanding from the moment I pulled into the parking area until they saw me off the next morning. I believe this reflects an intentional design by the owners (a couple): creating a place to Clear people’s senses. 5) The main focus is not “people,” but “place” and “nature” → Prioritizing “what you feel” over “who made it.” 6) A commitment to completing the Accommodation as a “work” → Only three rooms; no adding more Facility features. No indiscriminate advertising. → A mindset of “only those who understand need to come,” aligned with traditional house restoration values. You could say this is for travelers whose purpose is to feel restored and re-centered: 7) Your body resets in the Onsen 8) Your senses reset through fire and food 9) Your mind resets through satoyama landscapes and an old folk house → Redefining travel from consumption to renewal. As tools for restoration, it offers free-flowing natural hot spring water, silence, an aesthetic space, and an Accommodation with high experiential value. → Not just “staying overnight,” but a trip where something changes. Nana’s philosophy feels almost perfectly aligned—its ideas and their realization overlap naturally. Among all the places I’ve stayed in Japan over the past few years, this was the best. In other words, choosing Nana—even for just one night—as a journey to re-center my senses and experience it as a complete work turned out exactly right. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The staff were wonderful, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. From the Room, I could enjoy views of the Irabu Bridge and beautiful sunsets, and the view from the infinity pool was outstanding. The restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel was delicious for both dinner and breakfast—I was very satisfied. The location is great, with convenient access to sightseeing spots around Miyakojima. It was also a big help that I could use Times Car (car sharing) at the Hotel. The views, food, service, and location all exceeded my expectations. This is a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again when I visit Miyakojima.

I stayed for one night for the first time. Everything you need for daily living is provided, and the Room is bright and very clean. There is no elevator, so it may be difficult if you have a heavy suitcase, but since it’s on the second floor, I think it’s manageable. It feels like a waste to stay only one night, so next time I’d like to stay for two nights or more. The first floor is a restaurant, and this time I couldn’t use it because it was reserved for a private event, but I’ve eaten there before and the food is excellent. There is also a Japanese restaurant next door where you can enjoy delicious Japanese food any time—morning, noon, or night. If you walk a little further, there are both a supermarket and convenience stores. About 2–3 minutes by car away is “Shima no Eki Miyako,” where you can buy Miyakojima specialties. It’s also very close to the stunning Irabu Bridge. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

Ever since I discovered Shukabura on an accommodation booking site a few years ago, I had been dreaming of staying here someday. The owner couple are friendly and down-to-earth. With just the right sense of distance, they respected my privacy while offering thoughtful care that anticipated every need. Not only the beautiful hill scenery, but also their warmth is a major reason this place makes you want to “come back home” again. Every piece of villa decor was so lovely I wanted to photograph it, and finding the charming little items placed throughout felt like a treasure hunt. The compact interior had everything I needed, and as someone whose hair tends to explode in the morning, I was genuinely impressed that there were even two types of hair irons provided. The cosmetics and bath/hair care amenities also smelled wonderful—I ended up lingering in the bath longer than planned. The local ingredients prepared for breakfast were all surprisingly delicious, especially the vegetables. I couldn’t stop tasting them just to check doneness—and even bought extra vegetables at a local farmers’ market. As someone who enjoys cooking (not necessarily claiming I’m good at it), I loved making my own meals while admiring the stunning view from the living room, making time spent in the Room truly special. This trip was a solo journey for self-care made possible by warm support from those around me. During my stay there were many rainy or cloudy days and strong winds, so it might not be considered “good weather” in general. Even so, there were sights I could only experience because of these conditions: a rainbow after the rain; layered clouds drifting by; a sky changing moment by moment; wheat rippling in the wind; and white buckwheat flowers swaying gently. This stay reminded me once again that Biei’s charm isn’t limited to sunny days. This was my seventh visit to Biei. The colors of the hills, shades of the sky, shapes of clouds, and growing trees all look different each time—no matter how many times I come back over time, there is always something new that moves me. Next time, I’d love to visit Biei in midwinter—still unknown to me—and watch snowy scenery from Shukabura. Thank you very much for such a truly fulfilling stay for both body and mind.

Best of all, the view from the Room was outstanding, and the peaceful scenery truly helped us relax and recharge. The grounds were also very large and beautifully maintained, and our dog was thrilled to run around! It was a wonderful holiday for the whole family (and our dog too!). This Facility offers the perfect trio of Onsen, delicious cuisine, and beautiful views. Shuttle Service from the station is available, and there are activities such as early-morning walks, making it ideal for solo travelers looking to relax and unwind. I keep coming back.

This was our second stay with a friend’s family. Once again, we were completely satisfied. From the welcome drinks, you were also very considerate of the children. You even prepared the rice cooker we had talked about last year, so we were able to enjoy rice with whitebait in the morning. We look forward to staying again next summer for our third visit.

The room was neither too spacious nor too small, just the right size for two adults. The room was also clean (though I noticed a long hair on the robe, which concerned me slightly). The bath was an open-air one, and while there were houses a bit further away that made me wonder if they could see in, there were adjustable automatic shutters. When fully lowered, they completely blocked the view from outside and kept out the cold air. Despite snow remaining from the previous day, we could enjoy a warm soak without feeling chilly. The temperature of the bath was just right for relaxing. Concerns: We chose a plan with in-room dining for our meals. However, after grilling meat during dinner, its smell lingered throughout the room until bedtime. While it might have been our oversight as well, future guests opting for this plan might want to keep their bedroom doors closed during meals to avoid this issue. It would be considerate if staff could mention this when serving meals or perhaps provide additional amenities like room sprays alongside air purifiers to enhance comfort further. That said, the meat was tender and delicious; other dishes were also very tasty with portions that felt just right. With free beer dispensers, ice cream machines, drinks in the fridge available at no extra cost, and even foot baths provided—this is overall a wonderful accommodation! Next time I’d love to visit again with my mother. Thank you for your hospitality!

There is a unique sense of comfort here. After staying multiple times, it truly feels like our own private villa. The view is stunning and quite rare to find elsewhere. Watching the sunset over the ocean while spending time freely without being bound by schedules is an exceptional experience, and the cleanliness of the accommodation stands out as one of its best features. Cooking utensils and tableware are also abundantly provided. Our dog seems to enjoy it immensely as well, running around on the terrace and in the dog run, then sleeping peacefully on the bed (as dogs often feel uneasy outside their home). A multiple night stay is highly recommended. Next time, we plan to stay for 3–4 days.

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

I visit Okinawa every year, but this was my first time staying in the Motobu area. Since the Accommodation is limited to one group per day, I was able to spend a relaxing and peaceful time. Everything about the Facilities and Facility was perfect, but due to the location, the TV reception was slightly poor, so I gave it 4 stars. However, it was an excellent stay for me. I would love to stay again and look forward to visiting next time.

Although the bath was changed from an Onsen to heated water, it was not a problem. It was excellent as it is close to Chirihama.
