This is a conveniently accessible Stays along the Sazanami Street. There is ample space on the premises, so you can unload your luggage at the entrance before moving your car to the parking space. On the first floor, there is a lobby and front desk, as well as a bright and open café salon and dining area facing the lake. The atmosphere inside the Property is quite stylish, with a pension-like feel. There seems to be a shortage of staff, so contact with staff is mostly limited to the front lobby and dining area. Accommodation is only on the second floor. All Rooms have large windows facing the lake. Since there is no elevator, some guests may find it difficult to carry their luggage up to the second floor. The Room I stayed in had a panoramic bath with a full glass window on the lake side, continuing into a tatami Room with a bed placed across the glass wall. You can enjoy a wide view of the lake from the bath through the glass wall while sitting on the bed or chair. The bath is maintained at a comfortable 41 degrees Celsius 24 hours a day. Since the bath is on the window side, it is not expected to be cold even in winter. Including the washroom and toilet, the Room is either newly built or renovated, making it functional and comfortable. The bed's comfort and Room temperature control are excellent. Thanks to good soundproofing, you cannot hear any traffic noise despite frequent traffic passing by. Although there is quite a loud BGM playing in the corridors and dining area, it is not audible inside the accommodation Room. The dining area has counter seats facing the large windows on the lake side. The long counter is divided into sections for two people each with tall partitions. Although the guests were quiet, you can hear other guests' conversations. There also seem to be table seats that are not at the counter. The cuisine is gourmet as per the Review. The dishes seem to reflect the chef's pride and dedication (as expected), which may lead to differing preferences.

Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. Perched on a hill overlooking Shibushi Bay, it has a wonderful atmosphere! The spacious Onsen was also very satisfying. Motorcycles can be parked safely under the roofed parking area in front of the entrance. The hospitality and service were excellent—nothing to complain about! We only used the breakfast option, but the carefully prepared dishes were delicious. However, with prices rising these days, I understand it can’t be helped, but there was no nori or jam anymore, so I hope they will bring them back. Of course, we’ll stay again next year!

We stayed as a couple in our 50s. Rather than a Hotel, it feels more like a charming pension-style place, which suits it well. The front desk gave the impression that they may be operating more efficiently than before, and that’s perfectly fine. The staff were all ladies older than us, so the pace was a bit relaxed—but in an endearing way. It felt warm and comfortable. The Room was spacious, with Lake Biwa stretching out beyond the window. Since this area tends to feel cold, even in April they had a heater and blankets prepared. We chose the Omi beef steak course. From the photos I wondered if it might not be enough, but it was very filling and satisfying. For breakfast, we were happy to be able to choose either Japanese or Western style. The curry was especially delicious! The bath is not an Onsen, but it was kept very clean. We went to see the Osaki cherry blossoms by the inlet. Next time, I’d love to visit again during the season when the metasequoia trees are at their best.

Recently, I stayed at GIFTHOUSE Sunomiya with my beloved dog. The Room was a private villa, offering an exceptional sense of privacy. We could relax without worrying about others and truly felt rejuvenated. The highlight was the wood-burning barrel sauna in the villa's courtyard. My partner and I took turns enjoying the sauna, followed by resting in the outdoor space surrounded by nature. The feeling of unwinding amidst greenery was incredibly refreshing. At night, we relaxed under a starry sky—a luxury you can't experience in everyday life. There was also a dog run where our dog could run freely and seemed to have so much fun. It was great to let our pet play in a completely private space. The villa itself was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and appliances, making it easy to cook meals. We enjoyed BBQs and leisurely breakfasts on the terrace while taking in the view of greenery through the large living room windows—such a lovely touch! Access from the city center wasn't too far either; it took about 90 minutes by car, which added to its appeal. The cost per person was around 30,000 yen, but considering this level of luxury, it felt worth every penny. I’d love to visit again for special occasions or relaxing weekend trips with my pet! Thank you for the wonderful stay. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed delicious ajillo and barbecue. It was so cold that just taking a shower made it hard to sleep, but we were recommended a nearby Onsen after a short drive. The Onsen was excellent, and we returned feeling warm and had a restful sleep. In the morning, we made hot sandwiches and enjoyed them thoroughly. If I may suggest, since paper cups and plates can be blown away by the wind, it might have been better to bring our own reusable ones. We also enjoyed drip coffee in your lovely dome accommodation. I visited Echizen for squid fishing. Since the fishing boat departed late at night, I looked for an Accommodation with breakfast and dinner included. This was my first stay here, and the Room, wash area, toilets, and other facilities had been beautifully renovated throughout, making my stay very comfortable. Meals were served in a separate room, but it was a private room, so we could dine without concern. Above all, the bath is an Onsen with excellent water quality, and being able to use it 24 hours a day is very appealing. I really appreciated being able to warm up right after returning from fishing. The proprietress and staff were also very pleasant. This time we stayed in a spacious Room on the third floor. If I could mention one point: since there are only stairs (no elevator), noting this would be helpful for guests making a Reservation when traveling with elderly companions. I visit Echizen several times a year and would love to stay here again.

We always enjoy staying here. It’s close to both the beach and the station, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk, so it’s a good idea to stock up when you find one. This time, it was a little strange that there was only one set of amenities even though we were five people, but since everything was properly provided last time, we don’t think it will be an issue. Thank you.

It was clean, and the living space was just the right size. The rate was comparable to a Business Hotel, so I decided to stay without hesitation. Like a condominium, it has a kitchen area, a washing machine, and separate bath and toilet facilities, so I felt it would be convenient even for long-term stays. I would like to use it again.

The Facility is old, but the staff are kind and you can have a comfortable stay. The view from the dining hall is amazing! Dinner at 18:00, breakfast at 8:00. They also lent us a fishing rod, but the line was short—bringing your own rod is a must. You can borrow a bucket too, but there’s no rope, so you can’t scoop up water?! (lol) The nearby tackle shop closes at 16:00, so be sure to get bait in advance. Chokujinja Shrine is close by and has an excellent location, so I recommend it.

Over the New Year holiday, my parents-in-law and we as a couple traveled all the way to Okinawa and stayed for 2 nights as a group of four. The check-in and check-out terminal操作 was smooth. During our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. We bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked in the Room kitchen, and there were more than enough cooking utensils and tableware—nothing to complain about. My parents-in-law were also very happy, so I’m glad we chose this place to stay. We’d love to stay here again when we have the chance.

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal, we were able to relax without worrying about time. The Room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Meals were served in a quiet setting and flexibly adjusted to our pace, allowing us to enjoy everything deliciously. It was a Hotel we would love to stay at again.

We stayed as a family with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren. Dinner featured an abundant selection of seafood, all fresh and delicious, and both my wife and daughter were very satisfied. Being able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace in our Room helped the children stay calm, and we were able to spend unhurried time together as a family. In addition, we are truly grateful to the staff member who was very kind to the children and proactively supported us. Thanks to that, we felt at ease throughout our stay. This Accommodation is highly recommended for families. *There are rental bicycles near the Accommodation, and it was also a wonderful memory being able to cycle down to the seaside in the morning to take photos. We enjoyed quiet Kamakura in the early morning—it was such a refreshing time.* Thank you very much.

A hidden gem!! We stayed with our pet, and honestly, the Room was extremely clean. We stay with our pet about five times a year, and this place is truly spotless. The open grounds are spacious and refreshing, and in the morning and at night there’s a pleasant breeze. It’s also conveniently located near Lake Biwa and Wakasa, making it great for sightseeing.

This was my first stay. The staff provided warm and attentive support, which made the trip truly enjoyable. Being able to borrow snorkeling gear was also very helpful. On the way to the private beach to watch the sunset, they even lent me a flashlight—something I hadn’t thought of—so it really saved me from struggling to find my way back. Thank you very much! It would be even more helpful if cooking chopsticks and regular chopsticks were provided in the kitchen. Soup cups would also be appreciated.

A cottage nestled in a tranquil sugarcane field. We chose this accommodation because we were looking for something more spacious and private than a hotel, where children's footsteps might be disruptive. We stayed for three nights and found the space ample enough for the kids to run around without worry. The host kindly provided us with a bucket for fireworks and lent us toys like Jenga and Blokus, which kept the children thoroughly entertained during our stay. Nearby Nagahama Beach boasts incredible water clarity, and even a local resident mentioned it as their favorite beach. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Okinawa!

I stayed to visit the spring training camp of professional baseball. Although I was out all day, the room was so lovely that I regret not spending more time relaxing in it. Next time, I plan to bring a SUP during the warmer season and paddle at the beach right in front. The room had high ceilings and felt more spacious than its actual size, with clean and roomy washroom and bathroom areas creating a comfortable and pleasant space. (The bath is a jet bath!) On the first floor, there was also a wonderful shared space where you could enjoy delicious drinks. The friendly owner engaged in lively baseball discussions with me, staying up late for an enjoyable time. This property has only two rooms, offering quietness and privacy; however, there are many dining options nearby as well as convenience stores and supermarkets making it a convenient location. I've visited Okinawa many times but am very satisfied to have discovered such an excellent property!

Thank you for taking care of us during our visit home to see family. 　 When I made the Reservation, I didn’t know there would be a fireworks festival on our stay date. After realizing it the day before, I called to ask about traffic restrictions. You explained everything very kindly and thoroughly, which allowed us to head there with peace of mind. 　 At check-in, you clearly explained how to use the parking area and the Facility, and also gave us helpful advice related to the fireworks festival. Your service was truly pleasant. In addition, I accidentally left my car key at the counter, but you went out of your way to find it and bring it back to me later—thank you very much. 　 The Room was spacious and well maintained, so we were able to relax comfortably. However, since this is a pension-style Accommodation, soundproofing is somewhat limited. We could hear children from a family staying upstairs running around. As it didn’t quiet down even after the designated time (10:00 PM), I informed a staff member; after a while the footsteps stopped, so I believe you took some kind of action. 　 The location is convenient: there’s a 24-hour supermarket nearby as well as public baths and restaurants, so even with No Meals Included we had no trouble at all. Cooking utensils, tableware, and an IH cooktop are fully provided too, so self-catering is easy. 　 Shirarahama Beach is about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to go swimming in the sea. We were also able to watch the fireworks up close that day and were very satisfied. 　 This was an Accommodation I’d like to use again when I have another chance. Thank you!
