When we suddenly decided to go to Shirahama, everywhere was fully booked and we were struggling to find a place. This Accommodation had availability and great reviews, so we made a Reservation. The only Room available was one on the top floor, and it was more than spacious enough for our family of three, yet reasonably priced. The Accommodation itself felt like a family-run place—somewhere between a small Hotel, a Ryokan, and a guesthouse. Both the foreign staff member at the front desk and the elderly person who showed us around were very kind, offering warm hospitality. The refrigerator was a standard type with separate fridge and freezer compartments, so we could buy ice cream at the convenience store and bring it back. There were also complimentary bottled waters in the fridge for each of us. There is no large public bath, but the in-room bath was like a typical home bathroom, with two types of shower heads. The hair dryer was Panasonic and worked fine. I also appreciated that the sleepwear was separated into top and bottom rather than yukata-style robes. One slight downside was finding some hair in the bathroom, tatami room, and bedroom. Since the Room was generally clean otherwise, I personally felt this was within an acceptable range. Also, the provided drinks were black tea (Ceylon tea) rather than green tea. I would have liked Japanese tea—and even instant coffee would have been nice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s very convenient since Shirarahama Beach and convenience stores are just a short walk away.

We stayed here for a birthday trip to Shikoku! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the view. Being able to enjoy that scenery in our own private space was truly bliss. We were lucky with the weather, and the sunset, starry sky, and sunrise—every time of day—were the best views we’ve ever seen! The Room was also very stylish and spotless, and it made us want to stay forever. We chose a meal-included Plan where everything is placed in the fridge/freezer. Dinner had a very fresh and delicious salad, but the rest felt more like bento-box quality. Breakfast looked exactly like the photos—so stylish—and having it with that view felt like a dream! The soup and bagel were delicious as well. For this price, this space offers incredible value—we’re extremely satisfied! We definitely want to come back again! Thank you for an unforgettable memory.

This is our third year in a row staying here! Camping in a camper van at this price is unbeatable value. I definitely recommend booking with both breakfast and dinner included! Unlimited fishing and sea activities, a BBQ with plenty of meat and vegetables, a complimentary Onsen voucher, campfires, and you can even see shooting stars at night! Breakfast changes every year—things like baked apples and hot sandwiches—so we never get bored and keep coming back. We went with three families, and the staff placed our camper vans close to each other, so we could all stay together and have a great time. Thank you very much! For the sea activities, we kept asking for kayaks and SUP one after another, but they kindly brought out all kinds of equipment without any hesitation—we really appreciated it. The life jacket rental was also very helpful. We enjoyed so many things this year, but it’s also absolutely worth staying here even if you do nothing but relax and watch the ocean. Watching the sunrise is great too! There are toilets and shower rooms, and hand soap is provided as well. I’m sure managing everything isn’t easy, but our kids always say “Summer means Nagasakibana!” so we look forward to coming again next year!

I made a Reservation for one night with breakfast included. Unfortunately, the room was on the mountain side and did not have an ocean view, but breakfast was wonderful while dining with a view of the sea. I was also able to relax in the large public bath while looking out over the ocean. Even if you come empty-handed, you can borrow a fishing rod and enjoy fishing. If you want to buy bait, you would normally need to go to a nearby tackle shop, but it was already closed, so the Hotel staff kindly prepared bait for us and we were able to enjoy fishing the next morning. Thank you very much to all the staff.

This was my second stay, the first in seven years. The Hotel’s atmosphere—sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop and a jungle-like vibe—hasn’t changed, and it made me feel very nostalgic. There were notes explaining various creatures, along with booklet-like materials, and the Room was comfortable. We chose a plan with breakfast included; it’s a simple breakfast buffet, but it felt like eating Okinawan home-style cooking and was truly delicious. Even our children, who usually hardly eat breakfast, said it was tasty and ate a lot. I’m not sure when we’ll be able to visit again, but this is a Hotel I sincerely hope will be here for many years to come.

Although we arrived a little late, we were welcomed warmly. The atmosphere of the building—and that wonderful feeling as we walked down the corridor to our room and were shown inside—was unforgettable. The meals were also excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed ayu, wakasagi, tempura, konjac, and more until we were completely full. We were very satisfied! This is a Ryokan we would definitely like to visit again. We’d love to try wakasagi fishing too.

The farming experience and herb picking were truly wonderful. There were so many things we don’t usually get to do, and it became a great memory for both parent and child. The Room was also very clean, and being able to stay comfortably without wearing slippers was especially appreciated when traveling with children.

I stayed for one night while visiting relatives in Kanoya. Right in front of me, the beautiful sea and Sakurajima stretched out, and I felt wonderfully refreshed—it was a great time. I also heard that a footbath will be added soon at the nearby roadside station, so I’d love to stay again.

Your thoughtful hospitality was wonderful, and we felt right at home! Everything we could have wanted was provided, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time freely without being tied to any plans. Thank you. Our two older children also had a great time with the manga and table games. The bathroom was spacious and very relaxing. Our daughter, who prefers showers, was happy she could quickly take a shower as well. Buu-chan the cat was absolutely adorable. We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much!

Although we stayed only one night, we had a very comfortable time. Even though we arrived a little early, the staff kindly accommodated us and lent us snorkeling gear and a pop-up tent free of charge. We enjoyed spending time until evening at the nearest beach, which was beautiful, quiet, and calm. The Facility was well cleaned, and thanks to the peaceful surroundings we were able to relax. The Ishigaki beef burger the next morning was also delicious—I’d like to try making it at home.

This Hotel is located at the top of a narrow mountain road. It was very quiet, and the soothing music playing throughout the Hotel made it even more relaxing. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but if there hadn’t been any fog, we would have been able to see the horizon from our Room and enjoy an even more wonderful view. 　The meals were carefully prepared, and both the fish and roast beef were served with vegetables that paired perfectly with each dish—everything was delicious. The dessert was a yogurt mousse (I’m not sure if that’s correct), but it was excellent. We stayed as a family of four, including our son in his 20s, and everyone left feeling full—though we did ask for extra bread. 　We were told they host only three groups per day, and we were able to use the spacious private family bath as well. It was a stay that freed us from everyday busyness and truly felt like an escape. 　The interior furnishings throughout the Hotel were also thoughtfully arranged and had an elegant feel. 　If we have the chance, we would love to visit again. The soothing sights of the surrounding hills and the sounds of the river and insects were truly relaxing. The room was clean, and dinner was a delightful BBQ on the terrace while enjoying the sunset view. The meal included vegetables, rice balls, pickles, and an abundance of delicious meat. The private bath in a separate building was spacious and refreshing! Morning and evening walks were incredibly pleasant! Breakfast was absolutely amazing—homemade bread, homemade bacon, freshly picked vegetable salad—it made for a luxurious and blissful morning. There were two adorable dogs guarding the fields; they were so friendly and cute! This wonderful accommodation is filled with the kindness of its warm-hearted owner family. We also received plenty of fresh vegetables as souvenirs—they were incredibly delicious. Thank you for such a fantastic time!

We enjoyed a peaceful lake, soothing birdsong, and time that felt like a world away from everyday life.

We stayed here for a family trip, and thanks to the great weather, we had a very comfortable stay. The views of Wakasa Fuji and Wakasa Bay were wonderful, and the Italian meals were delicious—we were very satisfied. It was also nice to be able to enjoy breakfast on the open terrace. Although there was a small issue, the staff responded quickly, which actually made it an even more memorable trip.

Perched on a hill overlooking Shibushi Bay, it has a wonderful atmosphere! The spacious Onsen was also very satisfying. Motorcycles can be parked safely under the roofed parking area in front of the entrance. The hospitality and service were excellent—nothing to complain about! We only used the breakfast option, but the carefully prepared dishes were delicious. However, with prices rising these days, I understand it can’t be helped, but there was no nori or jam anymore, so I hope they will bring them back. Of course, we’ll stay again next year!

We stayed as a couple in our 50s. Rather than a Hotel, it feels more like a charming pension-style place, which suits it well. The front desk gave the impression that they may be operating more efficiently than before, and that’s perfectly fine. The staff were all ladies older than us, so the pace was a bit relaxed—but in an endearing way. It felt warm and comfortable. The Room was spacious, with Lake Biwa stretching out beyond the window. Since this area tends to feel cold, even in April they had a heater and blankets prepared. We chose the Omi beef steak course. From the photos I wondered if it might not be enough, but it was very filling and satisfying. For breakfast, we were happy to be able to choose either Japanese or Western style. The curry was especially delicious! The bath is not an Onsen, but it was kept very clean. We went to see the Osaki cherry blossoms by the inlet. Next time, I’d love to visit again during the season when the metasequoia trees are at their best.

Recently, I stayed at GIFTHOUSE Sunomiya with my beloved dog. The Room was a private villa, offering an exceptional sense of privacy. We could relax without worrying about others and truly felt rejuvenated. The highlight was the wood-burning barrel sauna in the villa's courtyard. My partner and I took turns enjoying the sauna, followed by resting in the outdoor space surrounded by nature. The feeling of unwinding amidst greenery was incredibly refreshing. At night, we relaxed under a starry sky—a luxury you can't experience in everyday life. There was also a dog run where our dog could run freely and seemed to have so much fun. It was great to let our pet play in a completely private space. The villa itself was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and appliances, making it easy to cook meals. We enjoyed BBQs and leisurely breakfasts on the terrace while taking in the view of greenery through the large living room windows—such a lovely touch! Access from the city center wasn't too far either; it took about 90 minutes by car, which added to its appeal. The cost per person was around 30,000 yen, but considering this level of luxury, it felt worth every penny. I’d love to visit again for special occasions or relaxing weekend trips with my pet! Thank you!!

Although we checked in during an approaching typhoon and heavy rain, a staff member went above and beyond to carry our suitcases and other luggage for us. The cottage was fully equipped with a washing machine, dehumidifier, bathroom drying function, a single-burner IH cooktop, and more, which was extremely convenient. The next morning the wind and rain had stopped, and when we opened the curtains we were greeted by a breathtaking ocean view!!! It was such a luxurious moment that we extended our checkout by one hour (available for JPY 2,000 per Room). Thank you for the wonderful stay. We also really enjoyed a beach walk after checkout!! We couldn’t do stargazing due to the bad weather, but next time!

Thank you for the wonderful stay. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed delicious ajillo and barbecue. It was so cold that just taking a shower made it hard to sleep, but we were recommended a nearby Onsen after a short drive. The Onsen was excellent, and we returned feeling warm and had a restful sleep. In the morning, we made hot sandwiches and enjoyed them thoroughly. If I may suggest, since paper cups and plates can be blown away by the wind, it might have been better to bring our own reusable ones. We also enjoyed drip coffee in your lovely dome accommodation.
