It was a truly wonderful Onsen. Not only was the water quality excellent, but with one indoor bath and two open-air baths, I never got tired of soaking no matter how many times I went in. There was also a free beer event, and I was very pleased with this unexpected service. Because a typhoon made landfall on the day of my stay, I couldn’t go out to eat in the Onsen town at night, which was disappointing—but thanks to this service, I was able to enjoy drinks in the lobby instead. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and the entire building was kept spotless, so I rated my overall satisfaction as 5. I would definitely like to stay again (next time for winter skiing...).

It was a truly relaxing experience. The view from the room was spectacular. The bath was an open-air bath surrounded by the forest, offering a heavenly experience. You can enjoy different types of baths with unique atmospheres. At night, you can marvel at the star-filled sky. Meals featured an abundance of local ingredients from the prefecture, and drinks were reasonably priced. I had an amazing time and would love to visit this accommodation again. Iwate is vast, and there are still so many places I want to explore!

We enjoyed delicious cuisine and the Onsen, making for a fun and wonderful summer vacation. The 30-tatami Room we used for the first time was also impressive. We also enjoyed Aizu’s local specialties, including Kozuyu and dried cod (bo-dara).

My daughter and I took a whirlwind 24-hour trip to Hakodate. Even with limited time to spend at the Hotel, we enjoyed wonderful meals, an Onsen, and a Room with an amazing location. It was a truly lovely Hotel. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style, with a wide variety of options—everything was delicious, and we ended up eating far too much. We used the large public bath, and the view from the open-air bath in the morning was incredible. Since we checked in after sunset, it was pitch-dark outside when we arrived, but once daylight came, the view from the window took our breath away. As far as the eye could see was ocean—an unforgettable sight for someone who doesn’t live near the sea. The staff included many young people and international team members, and everyone treated us sincerely and with warm smiles, making our stay truly comfortable. The only disappointment was that our stay was far too short. Hakodate is quite far for us so we can’t visit often, but next time we’d like to stay at least two nights.

Although it was the rainy season and we were concerned about the weather, we had good weather and enjoyed a comfortable one-night stay thanks to the excellent hospitality throughout the property. The meals were also delicious, with well-crafted creative dishes. We felt this is a Ryokan we would like to visit again in a different season.

We were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay, including the meals, the bath, and the staff’s service. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes and were delicious—we were truly pleased. The bath allowed us to enjoy the excellent water quality unique to an Onsen, and we had a relaxing, soothing time. All staff members were courteous, making our stay comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

I had a very comfortable stay! There were a few minor housekeeping issues, but the Room and the Hotel overall were clean. I was very satisfied with the meals as well! I thought it might be nice to use even more of my favorite Nagano ingredients. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

My parents stayed here because they had been interested in it for a while. Since it was a weekday, it was fairly quiet and they were able to relax. They were also happy that other older guests were using the pool too, so they felt comfortable using it without hesitation, and they said the food was beautifully presented and delicious!

We chose the seasonal activity “YATAI to FARM.” In the morning, we met at the farm, harvested our own vegetables, and the chef grilled them on a teppan right there. They also grilled pork outdoors with 15 different spices. The maitake risotto made with rice grown on-site was outstanding as well. From harvesting vegetables to the meal service, we were truly impressed by the chefs who cooked at a food stall just for us. Although there was occasional light rain, brunch surrounded by nature became an unforgettable memory. Highly recommended!

The building itself felt a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The private bath was relaxing, and we also had the large public bath all to ourselves, which was great (haha). If I have the chance to visit Aomori again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much for everything!

The male front desk staff member was wonderful, and it made me very happy. When I asked a question, he responded with far more flexibility than I expected, which truly impressed me. Thank you very much. He also listened to my conversation with my parents and kindly informed us of the bus schedule without us even having to ask—his thoughtful attention was very pleasant. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay. Dinner was served at a fast pace, so it felt a bit rushed. Since we had the earliest time slot and other guests were coming in afterward, I understand it couldn’t be helped.

I stayed solo and booked the “Tochigi Beef Sirloin Steak Course.” [Entrance & Lobby] It seems to have been renovated, with a bright and stylish atmosphere. [Front Desk] The staff provided clear, courteous explanations, and check-in was smooth. [Room] Spacious and comfortable. The futon was already laid out, which was great because I could lie down right after arriving. Since my Room was on the 5th floor, the view from the window felt open and refreshing. However, there was no bath in the Room, so I couldn’t wash and hang my rainwear after hiking, which was a bit disappointing. [Baths] The service allowing 30 minutes free use of a private open-air bath was excellent. The large public bath feels a bit dated but has a pleasant atmosphere. Note that there is no outdoor bath. [Meals] Dinner service was timely, and the staff were attentive. The menu said “ochazuke or soba,” but plain rice was also available. The Tochigi beef sirloin was tender and very delicious. Salt, wasabi, ponzu sauce, and other condiments were provided so I could enjoy different flavors. I was also happy they had my favorite sake, “Houou Biden.” For breakfast, I appreciated that it wasn’t a typical buffet but served in a kaiseki style. After checkout I realized I had left a shirt in my Room; when I contacted them, they shipped it to me cash on delivery the next day. Their quick response really helped—thank you very much. Overall, this is a highly satisfying Hotel that I can confidently recommend.

The hospitality was outstanding. Despite the reasonable price, dinner was served in a private room, and the staff providing service were excellent. I would like to stay here again when I visit Echigo-Yuzawa.

This summer, I wanted to relax in an Onsen for at least a day, so I stayed at this Accommodation located a little over an hour by train from Nagoya. Perhaps because it sits on slightly higher ground, the mornings and evenings were cooler than in central Nagoya, and I could also enjoy a beautiful night view—making for a wonderful stay. If I had brought insect repellent spray and binoculars, I think I could have relaxed even more on the balcony while enjoying the night view during the evening-to-night hours when mosquitoes are around. Next time I visit in summer, I’ll be sure to bring them. I was also very happy to be able to enjoy alcohol—white wine in my Room and a tasting of local sake with dinner. By the way, there was a slight smell when I first entered the Room (I couldn’t tell what it was), but once I started using the air purifier it didn’t bother me, so it wasn’t an issue. The Room had drinks such as coffee, sencha green tea, and herbal tea, and there was even incense prepared in the alcove—I truly had a great time.

The Room was clean and new, with the fresh scent of tatami. The cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious, and the innovative menu with delightful surprises left a strong impression. The Onsen was comfortable, and the river view from both the private bath and the large public bath was wonderful. Even the showers use Onsen water, and the cold water after bathing is tasty spring water as well. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

The meals, hot springs, and open-air bath were all outstanding—this was a truly memorable ryokan experience. One suggestion for consideration is offering complimentary drinks during the stay, such as coffee. It would be appreciated to have free coffee available when there is some time before dinner after arrival, or after breakfast.

My spouse and I stayed for one night starting July 19. From the pickup at the station to sightseeing guidance after checkout, your attentive hospitality and thoughtful care made our stay truly comfortable. Thank you very much. The teppanyaki dinner course delighted both our eyes and our taste buds, and the chef’s enjoyable conversation made the evening even better—we left feeling full and in great spirits. We stayed in a Japanese-style Room with a private open-air bath fed directly from the source. First, about the Onsen: the open-air bath in our Room was truly luxurious and easy to access from the Japanese-style Room. Even though it was still a bit chilly seasonally, we were able to use it comfortably. The large public bath is located in a secure area inside the building, and although we stayed just before a holiday weekend and had it almost to ourselves, we never felt uneasy about safety. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath were very comfortable. As a result, we enjoyed going back and forth between the private open-air bath in our Room and the large public bath many times! Next, about the meals: dinner was very filling, and we enjoyed a wide variety of local ingredients from appetizers through to the main course. The luxury items—especially grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) marinated in yuzu sauce and Noto beef—were beyond what we had imagined. Breakfast also offered various delicious “rice companions” that paired perfectly with great rice, so we thoroughly enjoyed it. Since this is not a new building, I was initially concerned about heating and other measures against the cold, but there were no issues with temperatures either in our Room or throughout the Facility. We were able to relax comfortably in a spacious, clean, calm Japanese-style Room. We had packed plans for the next day as well, so we left early on the first Shuttle Service bus; looking back, I think it would have been nice to take things slower at this Accommodation. There aren’t many places to visit right around this Accommodation, but we did enjoy short walks such as Rosanjin’s Iroha Soan and around an atmospheric public bath area nearby. Access is also reasonable: it’s about 10–15 minutes by Shuttle Service bus from Kagaonsen Station (and it takes only around 5 minutes from getting off the Shinkansen to boarding). There isn’t a lobby café or trendy services like breakfast buffets that you often see these days; however, for anyone who wants to unwind at a calm Ryokan with an old-fashioned sense of comfort and security above all else, I can highly recommend this Accommodation. It may also be because we splurged somewhat on a good Room option they prepared for us, but overall my spouse and I were completely satisfied—we couldn’t find anything to fault. Lastly, thank you very much to our attendant for your warm hospitality. We would love to stay again.

We stayed for one night to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. All the staff were always smiling, and their service was polite and attentive, so we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. Upon arrival, we were shown to a private room next to the lobby, where we enjoyed some tea and sweets while choosing yukata. The lobby also had books and a souvenir shop. On the rooftop terrace there was a footbath, and we could truly relax while looking out over Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains. We didn’t use them this time, but there was also a table tennis room (paid) and a kids’ room. The view from the open-air bath in our Room was amazing—I ended up soaking three times: on the first evening, at night, and again after breakfast on day two (haha). It seems they can also adjust the set temperature of the open-air bath upon request. In addition to the shower next to the open-air bath, there was also an indoor bathroom in the Room. I was happy that the hair dryer in the Room was ReFa. We had both dinner and breakfast during our stay. Both meals were served in the same private room we were shown to upon arrival. Dinner started at 18:00, and breakfast could be chosen between 8:30 or 9:00—great for someone like me who isn’t good at waking up early. Dinner included dishes such as salt-crusted grilled spiny lobster as well as lava-stone grilling of Kanagawa beef and Ashigara beef, which made it really fun. Both dinner and breakfast were truly excellent, and my girlfriend was very satisfied. The large public bath wasn’t very big, but it wasn’t crowded at all—we were able to bathe almost privately most of the time. The water was milky/opaque (nigoriyu), and my skin felt pleasantly soft afterward. I’ve been to Hakone several times, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation this good. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much!
