Before each stay, it has become our tradition to visit Niutsuhime Shrine—a UNESCO World Heritage Site about five minutes away by car. This time, we joined a talk held from 5:00 PM in the lobby lounge about Niutsuhime Shrine. The storyteller shared fascinating behind-the-scenes stories that only someone closely connected to the shrine could tell; before we knew it, around 30 minutes had flown by. The next day after checkout, we visited Niutsuhime Shrine again and also explored nearby historic spots we learned about during the talk. It allowed us to worship from a completely new perspective—and we discovered power spots we never would have found on our own. The traditional house café near the shrine that was recommended to us was also wonderful, making this trip even more meaningful than ever! We heard these talks will continue on an irregular basis—if one happens during your stay, we highly recommend joining. We also heard that on some days there is a guided visit starting at 7:00 AM (meeting at the lobby lounge) for worship at Niutsuhime Shrine. No matter how many seasons pass or how much time goes by, this is a place we want to return to again and again. It’s truly a blissful hotel—so full of happiness that it feels impossible to find anywhere else!

This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I chose to stay here because of its charming atmosphere, and I was sure my husband would like it too. Before booking, I called to ask about the room amenities. The head chef handed the call over to a female staff member, but her tone felt a bit harsh, and for a moment I hesitated about staying. However, once we actually arrived, that impression completely changed. Everyone who assisted us during our stay was very warm and welcoming, with genuine hospitality, and there was nothing at all that concerned me. The property was spotless throughout, and the lounge was comfortable—I was able to relax at ease. Above all, the food was outstanding. Each dish was prepared with great care while considering harmony with soy sauce, and I could truly feel the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and passion behind the cooking. Although the dishes made excellent use of soy sauce flavors, they never left an overly salty aftertaste—even after finishing everything—and I enjoyed every bite until the end. Because dinner was so exceptional, I would have been even happier if breakfast had been a bit more substantial. Including not only the cuisine but also the atmosphere and overall comfort of the inn, it became a truly memorable stay. This is a place I would definitely like to return to.

We had a wonderful time in a very clean room with excellent facilities. The meal was also delicious—a meat-themed kaiseki course that felt refreshingly different from typical ryokan cuisine. The location, in the Higashiyama area, was another highlight, making it easy to explore around Kiyomizu-dera in the morning.

This is a perfect Accommodation no matter when you visit. It was Kyoto in extreme heat, but thanks to your thoughtful care in many ways, we had a wonderful time. The pike conger is a must in this season; it is an additional-order dish, but highly recommended. We are planning to visit again in autumn.

The floors throughout the Ryokan were comfortable to walk on barefoot, making it feel like home. I completely understood why rolling suitcases are not allowed. I could really appreciate the owner’s attention to detail, and I thought it was wonderful. The location was excellent, and the meals were delicious.

The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. Located roughly across the river from the Nagatoro Iwadatami (not within walking distance). This is a small, well-serviced Hotel surrounded by quiet woods with an atmosphere reminiscent of Karuizawa; though compact, it is well equipped and stocked with amenities. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese-style creative full-course meals, better suited to adults. Some Rooms feature private open-air baths, and there are also free private reservable baths, making it a good choice for guests who value privacy. The building is old, but filled with tasteful furnishings that create a charming ambiance. With only a few Rooms, the staff can provide attentive service to each party. Nights are very quiet, accompanied by the sounds of insects. There are two EV chargers (6 kW TerraCharge) in the guest-only parking area; if you drive an electric vehicle, it’s best to let them know in advance.

We stayed with our child, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. They prepared futons for our child’s nap, and even provided a baby bouncer and a diaper trash bin, which made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. The meals were excellent, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We also loved that the soft drinks, beer, and other beverages stocked in the refrigerator were complimentary. Drinks were available after bathing as well, and we felt that every small service was well taken care of. All staff members were polite and attentive, making our stay pleasant from start to finish. This is a wonderful Ryokan where families with children can stay with peace of mind.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was an even more wonderful hotel than we expected, and our stay—from arrival to departure—was satisfying from start to finish. As someone originally from Nagoya, the TV Tower has been familiar to me since childhood, though it has been 25 years since I left the city. I was truly surprised and moved that such a beautiful hotel had been created here. From the warm welcome on arrival, every member of staff was attentive and kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. This time, we were upgraded to a larger room as a Diamond member benefit—what a lovely surprise! The welcome sweets were adorable and absolutely delicious. The view from the room was outstanding, of course. The art displayed throughout the hotel was also captivating, giving the entire property its own unique atmosphere. There were new discoveries everywhere we walked, and we thoroughly enjoyed the art tour as well. Searching for artworks together as a couple became a fun memory too (laugh). And the night view from the observation deck—an exclusive perk for guests—was truly breathtaking! We could take in all of Nagoya’s nightscape at once, making it an unforgettable moment. The hidden-door entrance leading up to the deck was incredibly stylish; its playful touch made us genuinely excited. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—delicious in every way—and we enjoyed a luxurious, happy morning while taking in the amazing view. My wife loved it too and said, “No.1 among all the hotels we’ve ever stayed at!” We’re truly happy to have found a hotel that satisfied both of us wholeheartedly. Thanks to everyone’s heartfelt hospitality, our 25th wedding anniversary became a wonderful memory we will never forget for the rest of our lives. This is an inn I had been curious about for about a year, and I was finally able to make my long-awaited stay. At check-in, you kindly explained the history and culture of Ise-Kawasaki in great detail, which truly moved me. The Ise tea and salted yokan served to us were delicious, and the warm, attentive hospitality of the staff member who assisted us left a lasting impression. The room was a charming space where you could feel the breath of history—spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The beautiful garden view beyond the room was so captivating that I found myself gazing at it for ages. The amenities were also wonderful, including VMG’s familiar rice bran series and the bath additive “Ise no Misogi-yu.” What impressed me most was breakfast. The dishes, inspired by the tradition of “Shinsen,” offerings presented to the deities at the Grand Shrine, had deep, comforting flavors that reflected time-honored skill and spirit. As I savored them while feeling the region’s climate and history, I felt a profound sense of peace and healing. I also appreciated being able to enjoy Ise udon at breakfast—something I had missed during my trip—which was such a thoughtful touch. At check-out, you gladly took commemorative photos for us in front of the main building and warmly saw us off until we were out of sight; that moment remains vividly in my heart even now. It was clear that everyone on staff truly cherishes Ise’s history and culture. This stay reminded me of Japan’s precious sense of beauty—something easily forgotten amid everyday busyness—and made it an unforgettable experience. I would love to return again. This was our first stay because it’s a Hotel where you can stay with pets. Unfortunately it rained, but there was an indoor dog run, which was great. Our dog wore a diaper inside the Hotel, but some dogs in the dog run were not wearing diapers and had accidents there, so I wish diapers were required in the indoor dog run. There were also pet toilet sheets available, so it would have been nice if they used those. Dinner was fully booked so we couldn’t eat there, but breakfast was delicious. The corn soup was especially good. Our dog also seemed to enjoy the “wan-burg” and finished it all. The staff were very dog-friendly and kind. It would have been even better if the Hotel had an Onsen. We’d like to stay again next time.

I caused you a great deal of trouble, but everyone spoke to me so kindly that it truly helped me. The price is almost too low! The in-room lotion was my favorite brand, there were two sinks, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was a shame there was no view from the open-air bath, but I found myself hoping—thinking from the owner’s perspective—that your service will continue just as it is so you won’t lose guests until the construction is finished. Even without a view from the window, this is a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you very much for everything.

From the entrance of the Accommodation, we felt warmly welcomed. Every staff member was very pleasant, yet never intrusive, and we had a truly wonderful time. A wild squirrel even appeared on the Room terrace, and the birdsong was so soothing. We were also able to enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace. At check-out, we received kind words that made us feel glad we came—this was an Accommodation that left us feeling that way. We also enjoyed both Mt. Omuro and Mt. Komuro. Thank you very much.

While waiting for the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, they kindly offered cold drinks and showed thoughtful care in many ways, providing truly attentive hospitality. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was stylish—both the taste and presentation were very satisfying.

[All-Inclusive] An Elegant Evening with an Authentic Teppanyaki Dinner and Free-Flow Drinks (Dinner & Breakfast Included) – Premium Twin Room Everything was wonderful. - Room: It was spacious, had a sofa, and we were able to relax comfortably. Having two sinks was also very convenient. However, I tripped on the step at the entrance to the washroom, so I hope this can be improved. - Dining: Every dish in the dinner course looked and tasted amazing. Drinks were free-flow with a glass-exchange system, so we enjoyed beer and sparkling wine. For breakfast, we could choose from three types of galettes, and they were delicious. Curry was also included, which would be great for those with a big appetite—our group doesn’t eat much, so we ended up feeling very full. - The lounge was also a wonderful space where we could relax comfortably. - There was also a large public bath—this was one of the main reasons we chose this property—and everything about it was excellent. We would definitely like to stay again.

The staff were very attentive, and the person who showed us to our Room was kind and considerate, which made our stay wonderful. The bath in the Room was spacious, the view was great, and the meals were delicious and generous in portion size. Everything was excellent, but I’m sorry I wasn’t able to eat the steak. We had such a comfortable and pleasant time that we will definitely return if our schedule allows. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. All of the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and made for a wonderful dining experience. They also prepared a birthday dessert plate at the end, which helped us create a special birthday memory! The room we booked for the hinoki bath was very clean, well maintained, and combined with the surrounding atmosphere, the air felt wonderfully fresh. Of course, the hinoki bath itself was spacious, and we were able to relax and unwind. We were occasionally surprised by some noise from nearby rooms, but other than that we had a lovely stay.
