A welcome drink was provided. You could choose any one drink you liked. I've never seen such a service before. The staff who assisted us were very kind. I'm glad I stayed here!

My hometown is Suzuka, and I was surprised to find such a great Hotel here. Due to certain circumstances, I couldn't stay at my parents' house and had to book this Hotel for my family of four. It far exceeded our expectations. As part of my job, I travel across the whole country and stay at various hotels, but this Business Hotel ranks among the top three nationwide in my opinion. First of all, it's conveniently located near the station. While Mie Prefecture can be challenging without a car, the nearby bar district and Aeon Mall are very accessible. The beds and pillows are excellent, with no unnecessary amenities provided—just what you need. The highlight is definitely the breakfast! Normally, I don't expect much from Business Hotel breakfasts or even think they're worth adding to a Plan; however, since this time we happened to choose a Plan with breakfast included, we decided to give it a try—and it was amazing beyond expectations! Not only bread but also unlimited rice servings were available along with miso soup and onion soup. There were about five side dishes with varied seasonings featuring combinations like meat or fish paired with vegetables—always including some veggies in every dish! The drink options were plentiful too; there were even two types of smoothies available for unlimited refills. The simple menu structure ensures you neither overeat nor undereat. The hotel staff maintained just the right level of interaction—friendly yet unobtrusive. Perfect score!

Pros: - It’s a reasonably priced Hotel, but perhaps because it’s part of the Banyan Tree chain, the service felt comparable to a high-end Hotel. Even though I stayed only one night, the front desk staff remembered my name, and every staff member was brisk and professional—very pleasant. When I asked after checkout whether they could keep some food refrigerated while storing my luggage, they kindly agreed. - A shower-only setup may be a matter of preference, but since it was midsummer it was perfectly comfortable. If anything, it made the Room feel more spacious. - The small raised tatami area is also relaxing. I would have preferred floor cushions (zabuton) over regular cushions, but that may be intended for international guests. Cons: (all minor “if I had to say” points—not deal-breakers) - The nearest station is Sanjo Keihan, so I wouldn’t say access to all of Kyoto is ideal. That said, the exit is right nearby, so it’s a good location if you plan to visit the surrounding area. - The in-Room TV remote has buttons for Netflix and similar services, but the TV isn’t connected to the internet so you can’t use them—disappointing. - This is common in Ryokan-style properties, but the ceramic washbasin has a rough texture; when washing your face, if your fingers brush against it, it can sting a little. - I used the spa; since it seems to be regular guest Rooms converted into treatment spaces and you step out into a guest-room corridor from reception first, it may feel slightly less “special.” The treatment itself was very good.

This Onsen Ryokan is designed for pet owners, and it was a huge help for those traveling with a dog. Not only was the staff’s hospitality excellent, but their care and attention toward our dog was also wonderful, making our stay very comfortable. The guest room was thoughtfully arranged for pet owners, and it was great to have a wide range of amenities provided. One small concern was that, perhaps because the room uses carpet, there was a slight lingering odor that seemed like urine from a previous guest’s dog. That part was disappointing. As for the meals, considering the Accommodation Fee, I would have been happier if they were a bit more substantial. Overall, I think this is an excellent option as an Onsen Ryokan where you can stay with your dog safely and with peace of mind.

We stayed for two nights as a family. As this is glamping within a golf facility, it’s set on beautifully maintained lawns, and we were able to relax very comfortably—almost like staying at a Hotel. Even though it was summer, insects didn’t bother us much. We did notice a slight vinyl-like smell from the tent, but the interior was spacious, with two air-conditioning units and adjustable lighting, so it was very comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean, which made it reassuring for women as well. The Italian meals were excellent and very generous in portion size. We stayed for two nights, and they changed the menu for us; everything was delicious. I can’t go into details, but they were also considerate of our picky-eating son—I felt sorry to trouble them—but we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention. Because it’s all-inclusive, I was disappointed that I don’t drink alcohol, but my husband does and seemed extremely satisfied being able to enjoy a variety of drinks without hesitation. We couldn’t make it to bar time due to our schedule, but it sounded like there was a great selection and we would have loved to try it. There is some distance between the clubhouse where you dine and the tent where you stay. Shuttle Service is generally provided, but if you want to walk instead, please note that walking may not be allowed during certain hours (possibly for safety reasons). At night, it was lovely to stroll from the clubhouse back to the tent while looking up at the sky. There’s also a “German Village” within driving distance; we enjoyed activities like putter golf with our children. We didn’t overpack our schedule and spent two relaxing days—making wonderful memories.

I always stay here when I’m on business in Tokushima. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this is truly my favorite. I sleep so well, and I can head to work the next morning feeling refreshed. The breakfast is also genuinely delicious. The menu changes every morning, so even on a Multiple Night Stay I never get tired of it—I look forward to waking up each day wondering what will be served. Above all, the staff are wonderful. They are always cheerful and welcoming, and many times I’ve been impressed by their thoughtfulness—remembering casual conversations and even small details. Coming back to the Hotel naturally makes me feel at ease. The main reason I keep coming back may be the staff. Rather than “I want to stay again,” it feels more like “I want to come back and see everyone again.” It’s a Hotel I truly love. Thank you always.

As I did last year, I stayed one night at the Rose Hotel while tidying up my parents’ home. After finishing, I checked in at 3:00 PM. This time again, I was upgraded and stayed in a Room on the 9th floor. I was able to take a relaxing walk around Chinatown and Yamashita Park and do some sightseeing as well—it was incredibly comfortable. The in-Room coffee, made with portion pods, was delicious. Breakfast was a bit busy, but there were no long lines. The food was easy to pick up, and everything I tried tasted great—especially the shumai dumplings and rice porridge. I’d love to stay again.

Each time we encountered your warm smiles and refined service, we felt deeply happy, thinking, “We’re so glad we stayed here.” I was truly moved—this is indeed a “happiness-producing Hotel” that brings smiles to guest after guest. What makes your Hotel so outstanding is your challenging spirit: never resting on what you already have, but always striving to create new moments of inspiration. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Captain Donguri”—please allow me to share a few ideas with affection: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge atmosphere is exceptional. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more special memory. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic, welcoming arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where adults and children alike can have fun across generations. 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer—having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests year-round and generate even more buzz. Of course, I fully understand that the working environment for your staff and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you could keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of what would be wonderful if it could be realized. With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your staff—I truly believe you will continue to be the overwhelming No. 1 Hotel in the region without question. From here on as well, let us guests join hands with the General Manager and all staff to make this wonderful Hotel shine even brighter together.

I stay here every time I visit Okinawa. The lounge is our favorite spot, so we always relax and spend time there. This time, the previous guest’s perfume scent bothered us, so we requested to move to a different Room. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We were very satisfied with both the bath and the meals, and the staff were very kind. We had a relaxing stay. The Room was spacious, and we were able to unwind comfortably.

The Room was comfortable and easy to relax in. The shower had decent water pressure even on a high floor, which was great. There was a welcome drink, and the breakfast was higher quality than typical Hotel buffets—everything was delicious. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, such as restaurants or izakayas, but there is a Lawson convenience store close by.

My spouse and I stayed from Sunday to Monday. The front desk staff were pleasant, and while the baths are not brand-new, we were very satisfied with the sauna and walking pool. I also joined a löyly event in the sauna for the first time. We chose the dinner buffet, which offered a good variety of dishes, all tasty, and my wife especially enjoyed the desserts. The parking fee was reasonable, and on Monday we were able to leave our car parked while we took a walk around the nearby Heijō Palace Site. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Not only was it conveniently located near the station, but there were also many delightful services. First, the welcome drinks available until the hot summer evenings in Matsumoto were very soothing. The complimentary Shuttle Service at Shouhou was much appreciated, and the excellent Onsen washed away my travel fatigue, allowing me to have a wonderful time. The breakfast was also outstanding: it included Shinshu specialties and a wide variety of dishes, making it easy to enjoy many different items in small portions. I almost wished my departure had been later so I could have enjoyed it even more. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

The Hotel and rooms feel a bit dated, but it was quiet and I slept soundly. Breakfast included, unlimited manga reading, and included alcohol and soft drinks were very helpful. I will stay again.

The welcome lemon water was delicious. Being able to enjoy it for free anytime was wonderful. The staff greeted us cheerfully, which left a great impression. The shower curtain rail wasn’t straight but curved outward, so the bathroom felt more spacious. It may be a small detail, but I really appreciated it.

The road to the Accommodation includes steep slopes and narrow sections, so guests who are not confident drivers may find it challenging. On arrival, we received a warm welcome and had a pleasant check-in. The Room was spacious, spotless, and filled with great natural light. However, the Beppu view was blocked by overgrown trees outside the window; please trim them. There were many types of baths, and the iron-rich indoor bath in particular had excellent water quality. The private family bath and open-air bath also offered superb views, which we really enjoyed. Dinner and breakfast were luxurious, featuring only delicious ingredients—very satisfying. All-you-can-drink beer in the lounge is an irresistible service for beer lovers. It seems there are even more wonderful Accommodations in your group, so I’d like to try another one next time as well.

We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday. Check-in after arrival was quick, and we appreciated being able to enjoy complimentary drinks. The Room also had a small flower gift, and we were able to relax in an ocean-view Room. The meals were delicious as well. She was very happy, so it became a memorable day. Thank you very much.

Due to bad weather, I got soaked in the rain and started feeling unwell after check-in. When I felt chills and asked the front desk for heating, they brought a heater and a fan heater to my Room. They even set them up for me, which I truly appreciated. They also offered to deliver rice porridge to my Room, but when I said I wanted to go to the restaurant, they kindly prepared rice porridge especially for dinner. Everything was served with warm smiles and was very comforting. Thank you very much. The next day I felt better and was able to enjoy Picasso at the museum before heading home. (The free-flowing hot spring water was excellent.)

The lobby drink service and the take-away drinks available in the lounge were greatly appreciated. You can occasionally hear trains, but it didn’t bother me much. Skincare amenities such as lotion are available at the front desk at check-in. The Room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked well, and it was very comfortable. It was also a big help that they turned on the Room air conditioner before check-in. The lychee at breakfast was delicious. The buffet area is small, but it’s not an issue if guests are considerate of each other. I was able to enjoy my meal slowly without being rushed. The international staff also worked very hard. Thank you very much.

From the phone call before our stay, the service was very courteous and pleasant. Many of the staff seemed young, but everyone was wonderfully attentive, and we were able to relax throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and it was also lovely to move to the lounge and enjoy dessert while taking in the view outside. We would definitely like to stay again.
