As a travel-loving couple, we’ve recently been taking trips where we stay at a Hotel and eat at local restaurants, so this was our first Ryokan stay in a while. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the bath, and the food—and were able to relax and take our time. The Room was honestly too spacious for just two of us, but every space—the Japanese-style room, Western-style room, and bedroom—had its own charm and was wonderful. The bed was also extremely comfortable, and we slept soundly. We also enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker in the Western-style room; it had great sound quality and created an atmosphere that felt like being in a bar. The open-air bath in the Room had continuously flowing natural hot spring water, so we could soak right away after arriving and truly unwind. Dinner featured locally produced Aizu cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The recommended sake was delicious as well, and it was nice to be able to ask casually for suggestions while choosing. The pricing also felt very reasonable overall. If I had to mention one thing, breakfast was slightly disappointing: refills of rice or tea had to be requested via the in-room phone, and they took quite a while to arrive—so it would have been better if tea had been left in a pot. We were happy with the service too, and would love to visit again if we have the chance.

This was our fourth stay. The facilities, amenities, and service were all outstanding. The staff are friendly while providing truly first-class service. The Shuttle Service to the beach was prompt and courteous, and they were genuinely kind in the way they spoke to our children. At breakfast at Gusuku, they cleared our dishes many times and kept everything comfortable throughout. Also, although it wasn’t on the buffet menu, when my child asked for ice cream, instead of the typical “Sorry” response you often hear in Japan’s service industry, they handled it flexibly and kindly provided it. When we were taking family selfies on the property, a staff member even came running over from a distance to help us without being asked. There were so many touching moments—everything about their hospitality made us certain we want to stay again. It’s surprising that this is rated one star; it feels like two stars or more.

We traveled with a child, and they thoughtfully provided a diaper trash bin and a kids’ amenity set. Since we have a child, we requested a Japanese-style Room; it was spacious, and sleeping on floor bedding felt safe. The dining area was also completely private, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious! In the private space, we could relax without running into other guests. It seemed to have been renovated, and overall it was a clean Ryokan.

The garden was lovely, and we really enjoyed our walk. It was quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the Kinko storehouse Accommodation. Although you can’t see outside from the Room, the cute sliding door that rattles as it opens added charm, and we relaxed on the blue sofa. If you have small children, the stairs may be a bit hazardous. The Room mixes old and new elements, but because the original design has been respected, there were a few unexpected protrusions. The meals were excellent—so delicious! We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Given how good the food was, we felt the price was very reasonable. We also appreciated the fireworks after dinner. Since there are hardly any lights around, the fireworks looked even more magical. It made for a wonderful summer holiday. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your kind hospitality. Although you kindly drove us to Araya-Shinmachi Station on our departure, the Hanawa Line was suspended due to the early-morning earthquake, and we didn’t know what to do. You even came back to pick us up at the station and took us to the highway bus stop—it was truly a great help. We are deeply grateful to all of your staff. We were disappointed that Gin-no-Yu was closed, but we were able to fully enjoy the rare hot spring water and were very satisfied. Thank you again for everything.

I don’t usually write a Review, but I was so satisfied that I couldn’t help myself! This Accommodation is perfect for a trip to Kyoto!! Even though it’s relatively new, the hospitality is flawless—more attentive than many luxury Ryokan. The smile and greetings from the staff member who assisted us were wonderful, and every interaction felt genuinely pleasant. Of course, all the other staff were also excellent. We traveled with an 8-month-old baby, and they quickly provided amenities (a diaper trash bin). They even selected and brought welcome drinks to our Room—almost too kind. Since we made a Reservation the day before, we couldn’t add dinner. But because we ended up snacking while exploring Kyoto anyway, we were honestly full—so it worked out well! And they offer a late-night snack service, which was fantastic. Breakfast was also outstanding—you can make ochazuke or dashi ochazuke, leaving nothing to complain about. The Room was spacious enough that our child could sleep in a separate area. It was quiet enough for us to relax without worrying about noise. The bath was large as well, and being able to top up with hot water at any time was much appreciated. Overall, for exploring Kyoto (especially if you plan to focus on street food or want to take things slow and enjoy the atmosphere), with that location and service, I would absolutely choose this place again next time. I had such a wonderful stay before, and since it sounded like more Rooms would be added soon, I made a last-minute Reservation before that happened. What was different this time is that an admission ticket to Hotelli Salo was included. It seems their baths may be members-only? I thought I might try it if it was included, but it turns out it’s not included with every Plan and is offered as an optional add-on. Since I can’t use the sauna, I’m completely satisfied with the Onsen at the Accommodation! Bath time can be reserved in one-hour slots until the next day; on the following day it’s separated by gender, and because there aren’t many Rooms on weekdays, you can relax and enjoy it quietly. The water is an artificial Onsen, but it has a lovely atmosphere—if you’re staying in Ueda, this is the place. I was happy to have the same Room as last time, and since it was just before summer, the terrace felt wonderful. You can see updates throughout the service, and you really feel how much they care about guests. They took care of me so pleasantly until the very end—this is an Accommodation I truly love and appreciate. After the expansion, it sounds like they will specialize in No Meals Included stays, but there are plenty of places to eat and shops nearby.

The food in the club lounge was delicious, and the drinks and snacks were all thoughtfully selected—we really enjoyed it. Above all, the lounge itself was stylish, spotless, and wonderfully relaxing, so we could unwind in peace. All of the staff were very pleasant and made us feel truly well cared for. Thanks to that, we had a comfortable stay from start to finish. Breakfast was at Rilassa on the 3rd floor. It was crowded, but there was an incredible variety of dishes—far more than we could possibly try. They even had matcha warabi mochi that day, which was also excellent. The view from our Room was outstanding. From the lounge, we could see Tokyo Dome City attractions from above, and from our Room we enjoyed views over Tokyo and Marunouchi—plus Odaiba’s Fuji TV building in the distance, the National Diet Building, Minato City, and sparkling night views of high-rises toward Shinjuku. It was wonderful. The Room was spacious and comfortable, with a sofa large enough to stretch out on and relax. The sink area and bathtub aren’t the newest style, but they were polished to a shine and felt great to use. I didn’t know there could be such a fun and relaxing Hotel—I definitely want to come again. My family who traveled with me also said: “It was so much fun!! We want to go again! The food is delicious, and the club lounge is great!!” We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

Family stay After check-in, we could relax in the lounge. All-inclusive—plenty of snacks, too! Dinner had wonderful Kyushu flavors. Saga beef, sashimi, desserts, and even turban shells at breakfast. We ate so much, and the pancakes were amazing. After the bath, there was a soothing relaxation area with amazake available—it was truly calming. It made us want to come back again.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It seems the lounge was recently renovated: the previous location was closed, and a restaurant on the same 3rd floor was remodeled and reopened as the new lounge. This time we used it during all available hours, and there is nothing to complain about. The pancakes and freshly squeezed juice mentioned in past Reviews were not available, but a variety of items are served at each time slot, so we were fully satisfied. The meat dishes and egg dishes are cooked after ordering, so they are served freshly made. The taste was excellent as well. There was also a wide selection of alcoholic drinks during cocktail time, which we really enjoyed. Of course, there were plenty of soft drinks too. I enjoy drinking, so I even had beer in the morning (though I’m not sure if that was allowed time-wise). Even without adding breakfast and dinner, you can be more than satisfied. Unlike before, you can only enter the lounge with your Room key card, which felt reassuring. It also serves as the check-in counter, so we were able to relax at the Hotel from 2:30 pm until 12:00 pm the next day. Our Room had a front-facing view of Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower, and thank you for preparing anniversary sweets in our Room. If we have another opportunity, we would love to use this Plan again.

This was our fourth stay. We were able to relax as a family, and once again had a wonderful time. From the warm hospitality of the staff to every aspect of the service throughout our stay, everything was excellent. No matter how many times we visit, it’s a Hotel that makes us want to come back again. Our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. We look forward to visiting again next year.

One night with two meals (breakfast and dinner) included. The food is delicious and features local specialty ingredients, letting you fully enjoy the charm of traveling in the area. The room is spacious and clean, and it’s very relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view.

I was looking forward to the view from the Room, and it truly was breathtaking. It was also great that we could have our meals in the Room. What made me even happier was the selection of complimentary drinks available in the lobby. Ice was freely available as well, and since acerola juice is rarely offered, I enjoyed it many times during my stay. I had a very pleasant stay at this Accommodation.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied—not only with the fireworks, but also with the Onsen and the meals (both breakfast and dinner were served in semi-private dining rooms, and dinner was a kaiseki course).

More satisfying than a typical luxury Hotel in every way—attentiveness, service, Facility, access, and amenities.

I was able to relax and enjoy a calm atmosphere. Breakfast was satisfying, and the bread was delicious, so I could dine in a relaxed setting. I would like to stay here again.

Since I was often away from the Accommodation and wanted to bathe whenever I liked, I chose a room with a private open-air bath. By adjusting the hot spring source myself, I could control the water temperature, and soaking in the crisp morning air was wonderful.

We stayed on August 1–2, 2026! The Room (depending on the Plan, I assume) felt like it could have been a bit deeper and wider, but it matched the photos online. This was our first stay at Taoya as a family of four, including a second-year university student and a second-year high school student. We loved the all-inclusive free drinks (including alcohol) throughout our stay, plus the welcome dessert (the mini Mont Blanc was freshly piped on the spot). At dinner buffet, there were shake salads, freshly grilled and carved steak, and each table had a small burner for mini hot pots. There were also pasta and pizza, and even late-night snacks included in the Plan—everything was excellent in both taste and portion size. Breakfast was also buffet-style with build-your-own rice bowls, grilled fish using the tabletop burner, and freshly baked mini apple pies brought around to each table (they’re seriously piping hot, so be careful when eating). Our whole family was very satisfied. At dinner one night while we were taking a selfie with an outstretched arm, a staff member kindly offered to take our photo—an extra touch that made us even happier. The location was great too: easy access to Momiji-dani Suspension Bridge and the Nasu Highlands area, and Nikko is just over an hour away by expressway. Since it’s in the mountains we were worried about insects, but they didn’t bother us at all—we didn’t even encounter any during an evening walk (to the nearest suspension bridge), at the open-air bath on the 4th floor, or in our Room. The only insect we really noticed was dragonflies flying around the courtyard; little kids seemed to enjoy having them land on their fingers. Personally, I especially liked the courtyard bonfire! Thank you very much—we’d love to come again if we have another chance. (*Menus and types of insects may vary depending on season and timing.)

I stayed here on my first solo trip around Shikoku. I only knew Ehime for its citrus and sea bream rice, but the dishes made with local ingredients served here were unbelievably delicious. They also noted where each ingredient was sourced, which made me want to explore more of Ehime. The Room was amazing with a reservoir view—an incredibly luxurious space. It got plenty of sun and was already very hot even at 5 a.m., so I didn’t spend much time relaxing on the terrace, but walking around the reservoir was very pleasant. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

It was a comfortable twin Room, and we could even see Lake Kawaguchi from the Room window. The amenities included everything we needed. Dinner was a half-buffet, which made it easy to choose just the right amount. The breakfast buffet let you make your own seafood rice bowl, which made it even more satisfying. I’m only disappointed that I missed the ochazuke time from 9:00 PM (I fell asleep). When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I’d like to stay at Breeze Bay again.
