I stayed for one night on my trip to Hakodate! It was convenient with a streetcar stop nearby. The bath was a bit hot, but it was great. All the staff were kind, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thank you very much. I’d love to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. Due to scheduling, I chose the No Meals Included plan, but the owner was very kind (thank you for carefully keeping my forgotten item). The flower bed outside the window was also well maintained, and I had a pleasant stay. Next time, I would like to enjoy a meal made with homegrown vegetables.

The bath was absolutely amazing. The meals were hearty, and the Room was spacious and relaxing. When we mentioned that we came to see the ancient lotus seeds, they kindly picked one for us. Our journey continues as we admire the lotus seed.

We enjoyed plenty of delicious crab! The calm environment and tasty crab made for a satisfying experience. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time with our dog. The Room was clean and comfortable, and we loved being able to enjoy the private Onsen whenever we wanted. The staff were kind and helpful, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. Our whole family was able to unwind with our dog, making it a truly enjoyable experience. It also became a great summer vacation memory for our children, and we would love to stay again. Thank you for such a lovely time.

I stayed for two nights to climb Mt. Myoko. As a guest here for hiking, I was most grateful to be able to use the free laundry that dries everything perfectly. Thank you very much. The handsome young owner, who resembles actor Ryohei Otani, provides attentive service with hospitality like a five-star Hotel, and his answers to questions are reassuring. I chose the boxed dinner, and it was generous in portion—more than enough to refuel after the climb. The taste was excellent as well. In particular, the miso soup with thin bamboo shoots (hime-takenoko?) was outstanding. The Onsen is rated higher than Akita’s Nyuto Onsen by Nikkei newspaper, and I completely agree. Soaking in the water made my post-hike fatigue disappear at once. The view from the open-air bath is also amazing! I think this sense of openness is what makes it better than Nyuto Onsen. Next time, I would love to visit during the autumn foliage season.

No Meals Included, but we provide two pastries, yogurt, soup, and a variety of beverages. While it is a comfortable accommodation, it may feel expensive and spacious if you are only staying to sleep. The bath uses a circulation system rather than free-flowing water. It seems the price increased after I made my reservation. Unfortunately, there is no Japanese tea available or its flavor is lacking.

The four of us stayed with breakfast included. The food was delicious, and the owner and all the staff provided excellent service—thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. In addition, thank you for driving us from Kasumi to Toyooka on a morning of heavy snowfall.

Before visiting Himakajima, I researched accommodations and found that the reviews were not very favorable, so my expectations were low. However, the staff at the accommodation were all incredibly hospitable, providing exceptional service throughout my stay. While it was not an onsen, the large public bath was spacious and relaxing, offering a similar experience with views of Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. The sunset from the room was extraordinary—a scene reminiscent of a novel's opening line describing "a magnificent twilight," visible across the peninsula. The only disappointment was hearing that octopus catches have been poor recently. I look forward to visiting again when I have another opportunity.

We stayed for one night with a family of five and a small dog. Although the signal near the facility was weak, there was Wi-Fi available, and when we contacted them with questions during check-in, they responded promptly, which we greatly appreciated. The room was very spacious with large windows that provided an open atmosphere, and we could enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from the room. When we entered the room in the evening and turned on the air conditioning, it took some time to warm up; having a heater would have been helpful. On the other hand, from morning to midday, sunlight came through the upper windows making it very hot; blinds for those windows would be nice. We prepared our own ingredients for cooking but enjoyed using well-equipped kitchen tools and appliances like a microwave oven. The drinks and snacks provided were thoughtful touches that made us happy. The hinoki bath filled the bathroom with its soothing aroma, creating a relaxing space—it was absolutely wonderful! Although this stay was only for one night, it made us want to stay longer at this facility. We hope there will be discounts for Multiple Night Stays in the future as we'd love to come back again! We made a Reservation at this Accommodation to visit the moss phlox at Chausuyama Highlands, and we were extremely satisfied. The buffet was delicious, and as a couple who loves alcohol, we were happy to enjoy drinks at reasonable prices and had a wonderful time. It would have been nice if smaller draft beer glasses were available. During the buffet, a staff member kindly told us that we might be able to see a herd of wild deer, and we actually got to see them. As expected of Kyukamura—nature at its best. We truly enjoyed the great outdoors and had a fantastic trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a sunny corner Room with a great view, and thanks to the nice weather we had a wonderfully refreshing time. The night view was perfect as well. The meals were outstanding—we enjoyed fresh duck and boar with no odor at all, delicately seasoned and elegant in flavor. Breakfast also came with many small side dishes, so satisfying that you’ll want seconds of rice; I recommend the plan with both dinner and breakfast included. It seems to be an older building, but once inside it is kept very clean, with no dustiness at all. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The proprietress was also very kind, and I would love to see her again. If you’re sightseeing around Nara Station it may feel a bit far, but the area around this Ryokan offers wonderful views from Mt. Ikoma and lets you enjoy a different side of Nara’s scenery, so I highly recommend it.

Although my check-in was later than planned, the staff accommodated me without any displeasure. The meals were just the right amount, leaving nothing behind, and were very delicious. The hot water was so smooth, like soaking in a beauty serum, that if I lived nearby, I would use it frequently. Since it is a small Ryokan, the walking distance was minimal, making it very convenient. It was a Ryokan I would definitely like to stay at again.

I stayed at Mikaku no Accommodation Yamadaya on the second day of my solo trip to Tottori. The place is a bit old, but it was very calm and relaxing, and I was able to take it easy. Since I had crab on the first day, I chose the shabu-shabu course. The portion was so generous that I couldn’t finish it all by myself and ended up leaving some behind—I’m truly sorry about that. Still, it was delicious and I was very satisfied. I don’t usually like ponzu sauce, but the ponzu served with this shabu-shabu was surprisingly easy to enjoy. The thoughtful care as I was leaving also meant a lot. I’d like to stay here again when I come back to Tottori. Thank you very much.

My first trip to Oki Islands. The weather was perfectly clear that day, and the sea was sparkling. From the Room, the ocean stretched out right before my eyes, and the early-morning view—before the morning light fully reached—felt truly magical. Both dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients, and everything was delicious. My child was amazed at how good Oki rock oysters were, saying they are the best in Japan. The grilled fish at breakfast was also outstanding. Thank you as well for kindly accommodating my request regarding foods I cannot eat. If it weren’t for a small bug in the Room—and if the bath were an Onsen—it would be a perfect Accommodation. I was also happy to receive such warm and wonderful words from the male staff member I spoke with at check-out. A once-in-a-lifetime encounter—a truly lovely meeting. Thank you very much for taking care of us. Please take care of yourselves during this extremely hot summer following this intense heatwave.

This Accommodation was satisfying in every way—Onsen, meals, and hospitality. It was great that the sulfur Onsen I came for was available anytime whenever I wanted to use it. The Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu at dinner was incredibly delicious, with both the broth and the meat tasting wonderful. The manager and the dinner staff provided excellent service as well, so I had a very pleasant stay!

We stayed as a family on New Year's Eve to escape the year-end hustle and bustle. The small hall was crowded with guests, but the front desk staff and attendants welcomed us warmly with smiles. The room was not very spacious but was clean and comfortable, equipped with coffee and mineral water. The silver shiny walls, full-length mirror closet doors, and compact yet renovated bathroom showed thoughtful design throughout. Although the public bath wasn't very large, I had perfect timing to enjoy it all to myself, which made me very satisfied. However, it might feel cramped during busy hours. The women's colorful yukata were stylishly designed, while the alphabet-printed yukata for general use featured vibrant colors and patterns that added a cheerful touch—especially contrasting against men's typically darker attire—enhancing the travel experience's charm. Meals were served in our room; dinner was flavorful and delicious. On New Year's morning, we enjoyed traditional osechi breakfast along with otoso (spiced sake), poured in order starting from younger guests as per custom—a refreshing moment to start anew. It was my first time trying Kyoto-style white miso soup with round mochi for ozoni; it marked a wonderful beginning to Reiwa Year 8. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Nishiki Market—with nearby sweets shops and cafes scattered around. Unfortunately, many stores seemed closed on New Year's Day itself. Surprisingly enough though, we couldn't hear any temple bells ringing at midnight but managed to sleep soundly right after welcoming the new year. While Kyoto has many hotels available, staying at a ryokan truly offers an exceptional experience!

I decided to stay another night after my plans from the previous day and chose this affordable Onsen accommodation with meals included. Although I was familiar with Sarugakyo and Akaya Lake as they are on the way to Yuzawa, it was my first time staying here. The deciding factor was the rare opportunity for in-room dining for both breakfast and dinner, which gave me a nostalgic feeling like staying at a hotel from my childhood. It seemed that only part of the room was being used, but the Onsen experience was peaceful and private, which I really appreciated.
