Even when our dog barked, all the staff were very kind, and by the next day he had gotten used to the place quite a bit. It’s rare to find an Accommodation where dogs can be free inside the Room, so we were truly grateful for this Accommodation where we could relax just like at home for our first stay. Every meal was delicious, and they even prepared chicken for our dog, which made everyone happy. With various types of sofas and chairs in the Room, it was a wonderful Accommodation where both people and dogs could stay comfortably. Next time, we’d love to stay during the winter season.

Overall, I was very satisfied. The meals were especially excellent. The service was also great, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The Room was clean, there was a TV, the sauna had an ocean view, and there was also a cold plunge bath—everything was excellent. The space was very comfortable and relaxing as well. It would have been even better if there had been one more set of basic skincare amenities and towels.

My business trip was decided at short notice, so I made a Reservation. There is an Accommodation building on the property, along with a parking lot and Kappo Shiro. Maybe because it was a weekday, the parking lot was spacious, and Kappo Shiro seems to be used by locals for dinner and memorial gatherings as well. The Accommodation building is up to the 2nd floor by stairs—no issues for me. On the 1st floor there were complimentary drinks for guests, which was really helpful in this hot season. There was also a vending machine. The double Room was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, it was quiet, and I slept soundly. There were plenty of TV channels, and the Wi-Fi worked without any problems! You can get a coupon for “Harajo Onsen Masago,” about a 5-minute walk away. It’s great that you can use it on your check-in day or even in the morning until 9:00 AM the next day! I didn’t expect to enjoy an Onsen stay, so I was very happy. It’s small but has a sauna too, and if you go later at night it’s not very crowded. Earlier in the evening it can be busier because locals also use it. Both dinner and breakfast are served at “Kappo Shiro.” (Even if your Plan doesn’t include dinner, you can pay separately; if you arrive by around 6:00 PM and there are seats available, it seemed like you could order various set meals.) I had Reserved the Business Plan. It probably varies by day, but that night we had simmered fish; gu-zoni soup; tempura and sashimi; chawanmushi; their local specialty Hyottsuru; plus white rice and miso soup! I usually eat as much as most men do, but I was completely satisfied with both quality and quantity. The food tasted exactly as you’d expect from a kappo restaurant—truly impressive!! I’d come back just for the meals alone. Breakfast was classic Japanese style—and of course excellent. If I have another chance, I’d love to stay here again next time on a trip with my mother!!

It exceeded our expectations! Everything was so spotless that it made us wish we could live in a house like this. The pool and BBQ were amazing, and we’d love to stay again!

Surrounded by the atmosphere of a wonderful, historic old castle, we were able to forget everyday life and spend a relaxing, special time together as a family. The view from the pool terrace was truly breathtaking. Spending time while looking out over Izu’s rich nature felt incredibly luxurious, and it left us refreshed to the core. It’s an outstanding location that feels soothing even just to gaze at the scenery. Our children absolutely loved the pool and were thrilled the moment we arrived! They enjoyed it again and again during our stay, smiling nonstop and saying, “We want to come back!” At the on-site museum, beautiful stained glass created a magical ambiance, and we were also able to listen to live pipe organ music—an indulgent moment that was deeply calming. Every dish at the café was delicious; the pizza and pasta were exceptional. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful attention and warm hospitality, we felt comfortable and at ease even with small children. Not only the Accommodation but also the museum and café—the entire Facility is full of charm—making this a wonderfully fulfilling vacation that will stay in our family’s memories. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

It’s rare to find a Hotel this close to the sea. The view from the window is amazing. I’d love to stay again.

My first time on the Oga Peninsula. I chose this Hotel based on Reviews and my budget, and it was even better than I expected. The location, service, baths, and food—everything was extremely satisfying. The dining area is a spacious, comfortable restaurant with an ocean view. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was delicious from the appetizers to dessert. Personally, I especially enjoyed the sashimi, simmered sea bream head, and bitter melon & myoga tempura. Breakfast was also a well-balanced Japanese meal. Since I don’t like buffet-style dining, that made it even better for me. I used the baths three times, and maybe my timing was lucky because each time it felt like having them all to myself. In the open-air bath, I could relax while soaking and looking out at the sea. It seems the restaurant is also open for lunch; when I checked the menu, items like shrimp tempura rice bowl and Inaniwa udon looked great. Next time I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and try lunch as well. The Hotel staff handled everything—from the front desk to restaurant service to Shuttle Service—and I was impressed by how hard they worked. This is a wonderful Hotel with unbeatable value that makes me want to come back again if I get the chance!!

While the facilities are a bit dated, they are kept very clean, and the amenities (including branded items), meals, and various services (donuts, oden, free drinks, manga, sauna, and massage chairs) were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were also kind and made the visit pleasant. The only downside was that the Onsen felt a little hot for me.

Ayu no Kaze is located in a residential area up a fairly steep hill from downtown Ito. Since the nearest drink vending machine and 7-Eleven are further down the hill, it’s best to buy anything you may need before check-in. We stayed in the Room called “Kochi,” which had a water dispenser. From the Room, you can enjoy panoramic views of Suruga Bay, Hatsushima Island, and Ito Station. Check-in, check-out, and all meals were handled in the Room, and it also came with a private open-air view bath with free-flowing hot spring water—making it a perfect stay-in Accommodation. The bath was slightly compact, but the tub was made of hinoki cypress, and the water was mild and wonderfully warming. Above all, being able to bathe anytime we liked was truly appreciated. Of course, we could also enjoy the scenery from the bath. Amenities covered everything we needed. Each guest is provided one bath towel initially, but extra towels can be brought upon request. We would have liked paper towels at the sink area and chairs in the Room. Meals included not only Izu-style seafood but also delicious beef; they were a satisfying Japanese-Western blend in both taste and portion size. Dessert and coffee were served after both dinner and breakfast as well. All staff members were pleasant, easy to talk to, and friendly. Both pick-up and send-off service were flawless. Even though it was raining, it made sense that they were fully booked.

Fresh sashimi and a variety of colorful, vibrant dishes were served, so much that I couldn't finish them all. The dessert at dinner was also incredibly delicious. Since I couldn't finish everything during dinner, I was allowed to take it back to my Room and enjoyed it after my bath. The bath and the Room were clean, spacious, and very convenient to use. When I sent photos of the food to my parents, they said it looked amazing. Next time, I'd love to bring my parents along. Shakujin Shrine was nearby as well, so I was able to fulfill my wish of visiting there!

There is a unique sense of comfort here. After staying multiple times, it truly feels like our own private villa. The view is stunning and quite rare to find elsewhere. Watching the sunset over the ocean while spending time freely without being bound by schedules is an exceptional experience, and the cleanliness of the accommodation stands out as one of its best features. Cooking utensils and tableware are also abundantly provided. Our dog seems to enjoy it immensely as well, running around on the terrace and in the dog run, then sleeping peacefully on the bed (as dogs often feel uneasy outside their home). A multiple night stay is highly recommended. Next time, we plan to stay for 3–4 days.

I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who runs a business. Among the Hotels I have used in the past, I was truly impressed by the highest level of hospitality and the speed of response. When I shared my requests via LINE, I sometimes received an immediate reply, and their concierge-like service was outstanding. Thank you very much.

When I opened the curtains, the ocean was right there! The ever-changing views of the sea and sky from afternoon into night were amazing. I’d love to stay again.

We were fortunate to have good weather. The previous weekend had a typhoon, and it looked like the following weekend would as well. During the day, we crossed by city bike from Aka Island to Geruma Island and then to Gaiji Island, and after all that effort, we were able to relax from the evening onward. The Room was clean. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the beautiful sea right in front of us was delicious. It must be unique to this island that deer came strolling into the garden.

Our three-generation family stayed in two cottages with seven people. The evening BBQ was excellent, with a generous amount of high-quality ingredients and even marshmallows for dessert. The Sasebo burger for breakfast was also delicious, made in collaboration with a famous local shop, so we could enjoy it without having to go out. The amenities were well stocked and very nice, but it was disappointing that there was no bathtub. We hope an Onsen Facility will open nearby.

The meals were full of surprises. The seafood selection was outstanding and incredibly delicious. Breakfast was particularly memorable as it included sushi, which was a first for me. It featured luxurious items like fatty tuna, sea urchin, scallops, and angel shrimp—exceptional for a morning meal. The simmered tuna head was also delightful. The baths were all private with no time limits, allowing us to fully enjoy the Onsen experience. This is an Onsen accommodation worth revisiting!

We stayed here over the July holiday weekend. We brought our own food, and there was a smokeless roaster in the Room, so we enjoyed grilling yakiniku! Since there are lots of insects in summer, we thought an outdoor barbecue would be impossible, so this was perfect for our family. Our child loved the pool, my husband enjoyed the sauna, and it’s No. 1 among all the Facility we’ve stayed at. The beach is also very close by, and when we came back after playing in the sea, they had water ready for washing our feet without us even asking—such thoughtful service! We definitely want to come again!

The scenery was especially beautiful, and we were very satisfied to be able to watch the sunrise rising from the horizon.
