This was my second stay. I stayed for one night with the goal of relaxing and unwinding away from everyday chores, work, and everything else. I really love the quiet, calming space—there’s everything you need and nothing unnecessary. The place is also very well cleaned, so I can stay comfortably without any stress. The meal (this time pork shabu-shabu) was very filling. This time I brought a little sashimi and some snacks, and had the somen noodles to finish the shabu-shabu as breakfast the next morning. The broth was incredibly delicious, and while both the meat and vegetables were great, the onions in particular were sweet and amazing. On the drive home, we ended up chatting excitedly about coming back again next autumn (laughs). In short, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a “luxury” getaway doing nothing but relaxing at a slow pace.

I took a bus from Tokyo Station, got off at Highway Oasis Furari, and walked a little over 20 minutes. The road is somewhat difficult to walk on, but it’s not a busy street. Bath: Private-use only, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath as a set. It was clean, a comfortable size, and the water temperature wasn’t too hot—really nice. Room: Traditional Japanese-style. The futon was already laid out, so I relaxed and lounged around. There’s also a toilet and washbasin. I visited on a very humid day, so there was that distinctive tatami-room scent—nostalgic. And since there were shoji screens, I naturally woke up with the morning light. Meals: Absolutely amazing—just as rumored. Everything tasted great. It was my first time trying squid-leg croquettes, and they were delicious. Breakfast had lots of options too, and I ended up getting seconds of rice without thinking. The after-meal coffee was also excellent. The sea is close by as well; I went before breakfast and started the day feeling refreshed. Overall, this Accommodation is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy lots of fish dishes. Everyone greeted me with smiles, so I could relax comfortably and freely throughout my stay. The high ratings were well deserved—I’d love to come again.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay with our dog. The Room was clean, and the Facility was well equipped so we could relax with peace of mind. I chose to stay here because of its charming atmosphere, and I was sure my husband would like it too. Before booking, I called to ask about the room amenities. The head chef handed the call over to a female staff member, but her tone felt a bit harsh, and for a moment I hesitated about staying. However, once we actually arrived, that impression completely changed. Everyone who assisted us during our stay was very warm and welcoming, with genuine hospitality, and there was nothing at all that concerned me. The property was spotless throughout, and the lounge was comfortable—I was able to relax at ease. Above all, the food was outstanding. Each dish was prepared with great care while considering harmony with soy sauce, and I could truly feel the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and passion behind the cooking. Although the dishes made excellent use of soy sauce flavors, they never left an overly salty aftertaste—even after finishing everything—and I enjoyed every bite until the end. Because dinner was so exceptional, I would have been even happier if breakfast had been a bit more substantial. Including not only the cuisine but also the atmosphere and overall comfort of the inn, it became a truly memorable stay. This is a place I would definitely like to return to.

This was my first stay here. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel, the staff’s hospitality at the entrance was so attentive that it’s impossible to compare with other hotels. When I entered my Room, it was spotless—not a speck of dust—and I was truly impressed by the outstanding skill of the housekeeping team. In the evening, I used in-room dining and had grilled vegetables, soup, and focaccia. Everything was absolutely delicious and genuinely moving. If you stay here, I highly recommend trying in-room dining. This time I booked a Plan with breakfast included, so I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. There were three options to choose from, and I felt it’s a menu loved by guests of all ages. I traveled here from Tohoku, and it took quite a bit of time and money—but this was an exceptional Hotel that still made me think, “I want to stay here anyway!” Thank you very much for taking such great care of me during my stay.

The meals are delicious, but above all, from the warm welcome to the send-off, every member of staff is truly wonderful, and no matter when we visit, we always feel at ease. We would love to come again during the autumn foliage season later this year—this is an essential place to stay for anyone traveling with a dog.

This is a small luxury hotel with 55 rooms. Because of that, the staff pay close attention to every detail. They greeted me by name whenever we passed, and kindly listened to casual conversation—it's the kind of hotel that makes you want to come back again and again.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days to celebrate my partner’s birthday trip. When I contacted you in advance to ask about arranging a surprise, you kindly replied and supported us on the day as well, for which we are truly grateful. The message on the whole cake was beautifully done, the surprise was a great success, and my partner was absolutely delighted—thank you so much. The rental car was even cuter than it looked on your website, and exploring the island with it was so much fun. The room atmosphere, the breakfast and dinner meals, everyone’s hospitality, and nearby Kuura Beach—everything felt like a perfect vacation. It was our first trip to Miyakojima, and we were able to spend such a relaxing and wonderful time. Finally, when you drove us to the airport, we were deeply moved when everyone—including the kitchen staff—came out to see us off. Thank you very much for an amazing three days.

This hotel truly embodies exceptional hospitality. The service is attentive, courteous, and thoughtful—and the same goes for the dining. Not only are the flavors and ingredients outstanding, but it’s rare to encounter cuisine prepared with this level of care. I also loved the comfortable room, the hot stone spa, and the atmospheric semi-open-air bath. At all times, you can enjoy a pleasantly private space as well. By the way, on long drives the windshield tends to get dirty and obstruct your view, and although it bothers you, you often end up leaving it (maybe it’s just me?). I was impressed time and again by thoughtful touches like having it quietly wiped clean before departure. So-called “popular inns” often raise expectations too high before your stay, so in reality they can be disappointing more often than not. However, this was a rare hotel that made me want to visit with the stay itself as the purpose of my trip.

We stayed here with a family of five and one dog. Our check-in was a little late, but thank you for accommodating us. We were also very satisfied with the staff member’s courteous explanation at check-in. As for the meals, our whole family worked together and prepared everything smoothly, and we enjoyed it very much. That night, we ended up chatting late into the night as a family and may have had a bit too much to drink. Not only the building itself, but also the dining area, bedrooms, bath, sauna, dog run—everything exceeded our expectations and became a wonderful memory. Next time, we’d like to stay for two nights and three days and relax at a slower pace. Thank you again for everything.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! It was a rainy day, so it was helpful that the Hotel was close to the station. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming. For breakfast, I had salad, bread, and soup, and everything was delicious and satisfying. There were board games in the free drinks area, which we enjoyed. It was a great Hotel that I would like to stay at again.

From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

This has become my go-to place to stay. All the staff are wonderful and very attentive. The rooms are well cared for, spacious, and lovely, and I always have a comfortable stay. During our trip from the main island to Miyakojima, we stayed here for the entire time on the main island. The Room was spacious and very clean! We were truly touched by the honeymoon towel art and flowers that were prepared for us. The view of the ocean and Kouri Bridge from the Room was breathtaking. My husband was thrilled with the Agu pork shabu-shabu dinner. We also dined at a restaurant in the Hotel group, and it was delicious and stylish as well. Breakfast was delivered to our Room, and even during our Multiple Night Stay, they changed the menu each day—everything was so thoughtful. We had a wonderfully relaxing Hotel stay while enjoying a resort atmosphere, and our time on Kouri Island became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again someday.

I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for solo travelers. I was worried about using the bath because I wanted to use it as many times as I liked whenever I wanted, but I was able to enjoy it to my full satisfaction. Breakfast also offered a generous variety. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back anytime. The shakuhachi performance was also a refreshing experience.

I booked a one-night stay with breakfast included. Both the room and the baths were very clean. Even though the baths are available 24 hours a day, they were impeccably maintained, which really impressed me. I used the open-air bath and the hinoki bath, and they were wonderful. Skincare items and makeup remover were also provided. Breakfast was delicious as well. Since it’s easy for meals to become unbalanced while traveling, I really appreciated a vegetable-rich breakfast. One of my companions was celebrating a birthday, so I requested a dessert plate, and they prepared a truly lovely one. The staff were very kind, and it was a pension with outstanding hospitality. Thanks to staying here, our trip to Nasu became even more enjoyable. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied. The hotel and the room were both very clean and comfortable. The staff were always smiling, which made me feel cheerful. The shuttle service to Kanazawa Station and the hotel’s dedicated lockers near the station were very convenient.

We were blessed with wonderful weather and arrived early, but we were shown to our room right away. After strolling around Kitamuki Kannon Hall, Anraku-ji Temple, and Joraku-ji Temple, we came back and headed straight for the baths. We used the 7th-floor bath in the evening and again in the morning; since it alternates between men and women morning/evening, both times felt completely private. We especially enjoyed the spectacular views from the open-air bath and the sauna. The water is silky-smooth and leaves your skin feeling wonderfully soft. Before checking out, we also enjoyed the private indoor bath in our room. We had a chance to see both rooms; although their layouts were completely different, both were spacious, with comfortable beds and excellent in-room baths. And then there was dinner—the highlight of our stay. This year’s matsutake harvest was abundant, and we were served an incredible variety and quantity of matsutake dishes unlike anything we’ve ever had before. Everything was outstandingly delicious—we were truly moved. The couple we invited was also amazed far beyond their expectations. When we asked our attendant, she told us that even in poor harvest years, thanks to 300 years of tradition and long-standing relationships, they can still secure plenty of matsutake even when they don’t appear on the market. The proprietress—often mentioned in reviews—was just as wonderful as everyone says. It all made sense: you can feel how her thoughtfulness naturally carries through to every member of staff. Since retiring, we travel almost every month, but this is the first ryokan that has impressed us so deeply. We would love to return at this time next year with the same group to enjoy matsutake again. Thank you very much.

I traveled with my elderly mother. After informing the property in advance, they prepared higher chairs in our room, and the stay was truly attentive in every way. The amenities were adorable, and it was fun to choose from them. The meals were delicious; I couldn’t finish the matsutake mushroom rice, but they kindly made it into rice balls for me to enjoy later. The hot spring was also wonderful—the gentle sulfur scent was soothing and made for a relaxing trip. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and we had a very comfortable stay. This is an accommodation I would recommend to friends.
