We often stay in this type of villa because we’re a big family and we have a dog, and this place was the best. It’s a spacious single-story villa with a large garden, a fire pit, a sauna, and a clean, relaxing bath. The BBQ came with great-quality meat from a yakiniku restaurant, and the breakfast bread was from a proper bakery. It’s right in front of Lake Biwa. I’ll skip the small details, but everything was thoughtfully provided—we had no complaints at all. We felt truly refreshed.

The front side of the accommodation faces a field, with a horse pasture in the back. If you're lucky, you can catch a distant view of Mt. Fuji, allowing you to relax and unwind. The owner is attentive and considerate to each guest, maintaining a comfortable distance. The room is standard, the toilet is modern, the bath temperature is perfect, and Wi-Fi connectivity is excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, making for an elegant experience.

A stylish, clean Accommodation renovated from a traditional old house. As soon as you step inside, the pleasant scent of wood is soothing. It seems to have two Rooms on the first floor and one Room on the second floor. There is a shared washer-dryer, which was very helpful for washing swimsuits. We stayed for two nights, and towels for the next day were placed on the table in a clear plastic bag in the Room; since it was fairly large, I felt a different presentation might leave a better impression… (not an issue, though). It also felt like there wasn’t cleaning service on the second day (again, no problem). We used the main building for the bath and coffee. It’s not right next door. Stopping by in the morning can be difficult, so I thought it would be nice to have drip coffee provided in the Room. The checkout system was convenient and helpful. Restaurants, a drugstore, and the ferry terminal are all within walking distance, which is very convenient. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

This beautifully renovated traditional house features a calm, relaxing interior finished with solid wood and plaster. In the early morning it felt more than 5°C colder than Tokyo, but there is not only air conditioning but also a kerosene fan heater, and once the house warms up it’s very comfortable. As the renovation was completed recently and cleaning is thorough, everything felt very clean. As described on the website, the kitchen is well equipped—enough to cook most meals—and having basic seasonings provided is rare for an entire-home rental and was extremely helpful. There is no TV, but there is a Bluetooth speaker and a record player, making it a great place to relax with music or read. I brought a small projector and had no trouble projecting onto the wall. Step outside and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Southern Alps; with little traffic, it’s a wonderful area for walks. I arrived by public transportation, and both Yamanashi Kotsu buses and the local community bus stop nearby, so getting around was easy. However, I heard that Yamanashi Kotsu routes will be discontinued at the end of March 2026; relying only on about five community bus services per day may be quite limiting. There’s a convenience store within walking distance, and around Nirasaki Station you’ll find a shopping mall as well as stylish cafés, pizza places, vintage clothing shops, bakeries, bars, and more—I felt this town development could be promoted even more. The owner was very considerate in many ways, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I chose this Hotel after reading Reviews myself. When I called to let them know I would be checking in late, the staff response was excellent and very courteous. The Room felt clean and was good. The bath had a spacious tub, and the amenities were also good. The nightwear was comfortable as well, and I thought it was a recommended Hotel. One disappointing point: the call starts with an automated message, which felt a bit bothersome.

We stayed at TATEGU -YA for two nights. It was spacious and comfortable for two people. The renovation was wonderful, thoughtfully incorporating valuable carvings as well as pillars, doors, and glass windows originally used by the joinery shop into everyday living. Compared to our last visit (three years ago), we felt there were more younger people around town, giving it a lively atmosphere. This is an Accommodation and a town we look forward to visiting again.

We wanted to enjoy restaurants in Karuizawa, so we chose this Accommodation with No Meals Included. The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was spacious, and the shower had plenty of hot water. For breakfast (8:00–10:00), you can order a hot sandwich and a drink at the café on the first floor—it was very delicious. The owner also shared recommendations for great bakeries and local tips. This is a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

Stayed with my dog for 3 nights, and the Room, service, and bath were all excellent. As for breakfast bread, both Marukiya's and Shizuya's bread were delicious. All drinks, including ice cream and beer, were free, which was very satisfying. Thank you very much!

The weather wasn’t very good, so I checked in feeling a bit worried, but the staff welcomed us warmly and we had a very pleasant stay. We chose the bring-your-own BBQ Plan with no meals in a cabin, and since we were told the BBQ terrace didn’t have a roof, we brought a tarp just in case of rain. There was a small covered area, so we were able to use the tarp to stay dry and enjoy a wonderful BBQ while listening to the rain and taking in the scenery. With a meal-included Plan, it seems you can enjoy delicious food in a covered space, so choosing meals might mean you don’t have to worry about rain. Inside the cabin, the furniture and Facility were new, and it was very comfortable. Since there was no bathtub, I rated the Onsen/bath category as 3. I love baths, so it would have been even better with a bathtub. There is an Onsen nearby, but you need to drive there—so if you drink alcohol at dinner time, it might be difficult. After the BBQ, we enjoyed fireworks with our child. At night there is no on-site manager, but if you contact them via LINE they reply promptly, which was reassuring. In the morning when we realized we were missing something, they even brought it all the way to our cabin—very kind of them. We heard that deer sometimes come by, so we looked for them excitedly but couldn’t find any—too bad. Next time we stay here again, I hope we’ll be able to spot them. Because of the rain there were no other guests staying at that time, but thank you very much for welcoming us so warmly.

I probably stay here almost every year. This year it felt like many of the front desk staff had changed, but as always, the service was attentive without being intrusive—just the right balance. What makes this Hotel especially appealing is its location. When I’m in Kyoto for a short stay and need to get various errands done, this area is the most convenient, so I’ve been returning for several years. This time I came from Osaka, and by taking the Keihan Line from Yodoyabashi to Keihan Sanjo, I didn’t need to use Kyoto Station or the subway at all, which made everything stress-free. The Room is always kept clean and well prepared, and it’s also nice to be able to sit down in a shared space and enjoy a cup of tea—something I really appreciate when I’m tired. There’s also a lovely cafe on the first floor where you can have great coffee and breakfast, but since there are several long-established Kyoto coffee shops just a few minutes’ walk away, I didn’t eat at the Hotel this time. I’m sure I’ll be back again next year. Thank you in advance when that time comes.

I stayed during the cold season in December. When I checked into the Room, the air conditioning was on, and it was warm, which made me very happy. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

We had a truly enjoyable time. The Facility was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The tent had both heating and air conditioning, and perhaps because it was Golden Week, the outdoor temperature was also ideal. The meal portions were just right. If I had to mention one thing, since it’s a tent, voices do carry. There were times when we noticed the neighboring dog and a baby crying, but it was within an acceptable range. This was our first glamping experience, and it became a wonderful memory.

My husband stays here every month. He says the bed is very comfortable, so he often books a Multiple Night Stay and sleeps very well. However, it seems some amenities are sometimes not replenished—for example, when he tried to use the fabric freshener, it was empty. If you will continue to provide it, we would appreciate it if you could refill it. Thank you as always!

A stylish two-story Hotel with a clean and relaxing interior. There is a simple but covered parking area for motorcycles, which was very helpful. On the day of arrival, there was heavy rain just before reaching the Hotel. If only I had arrived 10 minutes earlier...

This was my first stay in three years. I originally had a Reservation at another Hotel, but my stay here three years ago was so wonderful that I decided to change it to this Accommodation. The Room was stylish and spotless, and it was pure bliss to sip coffee while gazing out the window at the Onomichi Channel. The front desk staff were also very kind. I would love to stay again.

Honestly, I liked it so much that I almost don’t want to spread the word through Reviews (lol). This time, I prioritized access from the station and price, and since my stay was short, I made a Reservation with almost no expectations for the Hotel. But in the best way possible, it completely exceeded them. All of the staff are simply wonderful. Stylish but not pretentious, with a comfortable sense of distance—they naturally check in on you at just the right moments. The amenities in front of reception are well stocked, and you can select everything you need. They even have pajamas, and the amenities selection is so complete you’ll think, “Is there anything missing?”! The welcome tea set made me go, “Wait—why is this so stylish?” Everything was delicious. You can really feel how much care went into that welcome tea set. Absolutely amazing! The burgers at the first-floor café were also surprisingly good. Room service hours had already ended, so I had one for lunch instead! I didn’t use it this time, but apparently there’s all-you-can-drink beer from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM!! And above all, the handwritten guide introducing Yanesen around the Hotel was fantastic. It’s handmade by staff and covers everything from restaurants to cafés to sightseeing spots—you can truly feel their desire for guests to enjoy the neighborhood. Depending on your purpose, a Hotel often ends up being just a place to sleep—but here, for the first time in a while, I felt that “staying at the Hotel itself is fun.” …That said, I kind of don’t want it to become too famous and crowded (lol). Next time I’m in Tokyo, I definitely want to stay here again.

This place is located a bit away from the bustling areas, which made it even better! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We stocked up on deli food and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay without worrying about the surroundings. The bathroom and toilet were clean. Having laundry facilities was very convenient. It was an amazing trip, especially since dogs are welcome here!

This was our first time staying here. There were five of us, and it was spacious enough. We didn’t use them, but the kitchen and washing machine made it feel like we could stay for days. There was also a loft. The place was well cleaned, so we had a very comfortable stay. The garden had a nice atmosphere too, although we didn’t use it because of the heat and insects. There are restaurants nearby, and since we brought food and drinks, having a refrigerator was very convenient. We’d love to stay again—thank you very much.

Simple yet comfortable rooms, many of which have separate bathrooms and washbasins. Although there are no windows, the lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a space on the floor where you can enjoy tea and unwind. Breakfast is served in two shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with each shift lasting 30 minutes, which was surprising. It would have been helpful if this detail was clearly explained during the Reservation process. However, since there seemed to be plenty of seating available, we were not rushed even after the designated time had passed. Still, it made for a slightly hurried morning. The location is excellent with many tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

The Room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained! The bed was spacious, and the Room had plenty of space. I appreciated the free drinks available for an extended time with a variety of options. I would love to stay again.
