I stayed at this accommodation during my visit to Kanazawa. The meals were all truly delicious, with a refined taste that highlighted seasonal ingredients, leaving me deeply impressed. This small accommodation with only 7 rooms offered a very quiet and peaceful stay, and the staff's warm hospitality was exceptional. Its proximity to Kanazawa city and the tranquil surroundings allowed me to enjoy a relaxing time. I would love to visit again.

The staff, Facility, and meals were all beyond expectations and absolutely wonderful. There was a wide variety of welcome drinks, along with a coffee maker and tea provided. We also enjoyed welcome sweets, including daifuku. For breakfast, we had Japanese cuisine, which was surprisingly delicious. Every side dish was so tasty that we wished for more rice! It was such a delightful experience. We would love to stay here again!

The Room (Matsu-no-Ma), the new bath, the meals, and all the staff were wonderful. It was a truly memorable stay.

We stayed in a Room with a semi-open-air bath. It was very clean and stylish. The bath was incredibly relaxing, and since there was also a sauna in the Room, I got to try a sauna for the first time in my life. The cute little duck we could take home was also adorable. All of the staff were truly polite and kind, which really impressed us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again when we travel to Kobe!

Tucked away a little off the prefectural road, this Accommodation is quietly situated—and truly wonderful. With only a small number of guest Rooms, they seem to focus on attentive hospitality. The meals were outstanding at both dinner and breakfast—so generous you’ll wonder if it’s really okay to eat that much. The price is a bit on the high side, but the value for money is excellent; everything was carefully prepared and genuinely delicious. We stayed as a couple, and the Room was quiet, spacious, and spotless. The Onsen was also fantastic and incredibly relaxing. The open-air bath is wide and spacious, and you can stretch out on a reclining chair in front of nature with nothing on—an amazing refresh that lets you forget everyday life for a while. There was complimentary summer mandarin juice at both the front desk and the large public bath area, and it was delicious too. Our Room had a semi-open-air bath, but that one felt fairly standard. I’m very disappointed that I slept in and missed going to the morning public bath. I’d love to stay again—the staff’s sincerity really came through.

We stayed here recently. As soon as you enter the traditional house, the front desk has a calm atmosphere. All of the staff were very pleasant, which made our stay truly comfortable. With the refreshing sound of wind chimes as you walk down the hallway, the Room is a beautifully cleaned tatami space. The bath requires a bit of effort to reach the open-air bath, but the water is wonderful and helped us relax and unwind. Both dinner and breakfast featured plenty of local ingredients—beautiful to look at, delicious to eat—and there was more than enough to leave us completely full. The drinks at the front desk, along with dog treats and fortune slips, made us feel warmly welcomed. A wonderful Ryokan that we were extremely satisfied with. We will definitely stay again. We stayed here on our silver wedding anniversary trip after a day of golf. With in-room dining, we were able to relax at a leisurely pace, and since the bath in the Room is also an Onsen, we could enjoy it whenever we liked. The staff were attentive in many ways, making the stay very comfortable. When we stayed previously, the manager remembered that I get cold easily and prepared extra bedding for us, so I slept comfortably. The Facility is old and there is no open-air bath, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation with such high-quality Onsen water, a charming pond where carp swim, and convenient access. We would love to stay again.

The building, grounds, interiors, and cuisine are all works of art. The guest rooms are spacious, and not only is the greenery outside the windows beautiful, but the mountain scenery beyond feels like an ink-wash painting even in heavy rain and thick mist. The semi-open-air indoor bath also features a refined design, with pleasantly soothing spring water that makes you want to linger. A wonderful Hotel I would love to return to.

I had a zazen meditation experience and tried shakyo (Buddhist sutra copying). It was very relaxing. The zazen session was mainly for international guests, but I still enjoyed it and found it a great experience. They kindly mailed me the shakyo materials they had forgotten to give me, along with a letter—thank you very much. I was able to relax at such a thoughtful Accommodation. I also received a leaflet map of the temple district, but I didn’t have enough time to visit many temples, so next time I’d like to set aside more time for that as well.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was stylish and provided a calm atmosphere, and the absence of a TV allowed me to relax and escape from daily life. Although it was a shower-only Room without a bathtub, the water pressure was excellent, so there was no inconvenience. The meals were extremely delicious, and all the staff were kind and attentive. In particular, the restaurant staff checked in to see if I needed anything, offering very pleasant service. I would love to stay here again.

I came to relax during my summer vacation and enjoy a delicious breakfast. From check-in, the staff were attentive and guided me to my Room with kind, gentle communication. I chose a Room with a king-size bed. With its bright wood-toned design, it was spacious and comfortable for two people. I enjoyed watching a maiko dance, taking photos together, and having welcome drinks. The location is ideal for cultural sightseeing, with attractions such as Sanjusangendo Temple and the Kyoto National Museum nearby. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was unique: the main dish is cooked to order, while side dishes are served buffet-style. I ordered salmon Eggs Benedict, French toast, and an omelet as main dishes—all were truly delicious. It made for a wonderful breakfast time. Sanjusangendo Temple is right next door, so I visited immediately after breakfast. I also made use of the benefits of my IKYU Diamond membership, which helped make it a great summer vacation. I heard the property will be closing soon due to rebuilding plans—such a shame. If I have the chance, I would love to stay again.

I wanted a relaxing stay, so I booked a twin Room for single use. The breakfast was very delicious.

Since it is right in front of Echigo-Yuzawa Station, getting around was easy with almost no travel needed. I was able to use the foot bath and enjoy cake at the cafe as well. I chose a plan with breakfast only, without dinner. Breakfast felt a little less satisfying than before. Overall, I was satisfied. I booked a Room with an open-air bath and was able to use it many times.

The staff’s warm hospitality is wonderful. Although it’s a place that can be difficult to visit, this Accommodation makes you want to come back again.

After touring the Komoro Distillery, we walked from Komoro Station to this Ryokan. The website said it was a 20-minute walk, but it took us about 30 minutes. We took a taxi on the way back. At the front desk, we were served plum soda and then shown to our Room. This time we stayed in a Room with a private indoor Onsen bath. It was a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. There is also a large public bath, but it is up quite a steep stone staircase, and my husband said it would be safer to use the bath in our Room instead—so we did. The Onsen left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. I have had dinner at many Ryokan over the years, but every dish here was truly delicious. You could call it creative Japanese cuisine—both the presentation and flavors were excellent. They served salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish). I usually give ayu to my husband because of all the bones, but they told us you can even eat the bones in the head here, so I tried it for the first time—and really didn’t notice any bones at all. Because the food was so good, we also enjoyed it with their sake tasting set. Having an in-room bath meant we could enjoy it whenever we liked, which was wonderful. Breakfast included barley rice with grated yam (mugi-toro), grilled fish, ginger-flavored Onsen egg, and many other dishes—we enjoyed everything. A taxi to Komoro Station costs 1,000 yen, which is much better than walking for 30 minutes. It made me want to visit Komoro again next time as well.

It was my first visit in a while, but just like before, I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet, peaceful time while listening to the sound of the waves. This time, I brought my newlywed son and his wife. As it was her first stay, my daughter-in-law was impressed by the views and the food. We would love to visit again.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful whenever we needed assistance (such as giving us a tour of the facilities and lending us tools to clear snow from our car). At dinner, the timing of each course being served in order was excellent—they seemed to watch our pace as we enjoyed drinks and ate slowly. I was impressed by their professional attentiveness.

I made a Reservation so the kids could enjoy the pool. After afternoon tea in the lounge, we headed straight to the pool, and after plenty of fun, we enjoyed a delicious meal during cocktail time. After that, they had a great time playing capsule toy machines at KITTE Osaka. The next morning, they ate a hearty breakfast and were back to enjoying the pool early on. All of our requested items were prepared as well, so we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

We arrived by car. The steep slope and distance from the parking lot to the accommodation made it quite challenging, especially with suitcases. The accommodation itself was clean and well-maintained, including the room, toilet, and bathroom, which made for a pleasant stay. The lamps placed throughout created a unique atmosphere that was very charming. However, I did wonder how other guests spent their time in the dimly lit rooms aside from enjoying the onsen. It was refreshing to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax in a remote mountain area where even smartphones couldn't be used, surrounded by the sound of a flowing river and autumn leaves. I would love to visit again once the open-air bath is restored.
