We stayed at a villa for our trip to Okinawa with friends. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay very enjoyable. When we opened the large windows in the living room, there was a garden with an ocean view. In the mornings, we enjoyed yoga and radio exercises by opening the windows. The beach was just steps away from the garden, where we watched beautiful sunrises and collected seashells and coral. It was such a wonderful trip to Okinawa! We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

It was absolutely wonderful. Given the price, we had high expectations, but it exceeded them. The first floor had three bedrooms, two toilets, one bathroom, and one TV. My cousin and I each stayed in separate rooms. The living room on the second floor had a wall of windows... my cousin was amazed by how beautiful the sunrise looked through them. The bath was spacious and luxurious; I enjoyed a relaxing soak. However, it was slightly inconvenient that there were no hair ties or a tabletop mirror available... The staff's service was excellent as well. We received one coffee voucher and one beer voucher each but were kindly allowed to exchange them for two coffee vouchers instead—thank you! My cousin from Yokohama and I are already talking about staying in a different building next year!

This was our third stay at Roof Yureya. No matter how many times we visit, the warm hospitality never changes, and it truly puts us at ease. The staff’s sense of distance is just right, and it feels so comforting—like coming home. Above all, the greatest charm is being able to spend plenty of “family time” that you could never experience at a Hotel. Instead of splitting up into separate Rooms, we can gather around the irori hearth, relax on the veranda, take a bath whenever we like, and enjoy the sauna or fireworks whenever we want. It’s a truly luxurious space where conversation naturally flows. We also appreciated being able to leave meals to the staff, which helped us forget the busyness of everyday life and spend unhurried time together as a family once again. We’d love to visit again in another season. Thank you as always for such a wonderful stay.

Doggo Izu is simply the best. The Facility is clean, and the natural grass dog run is fantastic. This is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to stay at again! The surroundings are quiet, so you can relax without worrying about others.

We had a wonderful time. Due to the heavy rain, the Onsen source stopped, so it was disappointing that we couldn’t use the in-room bath. However, we received a courteous message in advance, and your responses throughout our communication were very polite, so we were able to stay without any issues. Although we couldn’t use the in-room bath, giving 1 star would lower your rating too much, so with hopes for next time I’m giving 5 stars. I would like to visit again once the Onsen is restored. As a personal request, I’d like to mention two points for improvement. First, regarding the hanging light in the center of the Room: even when it was on, it felt dim. If you could replace it with one that allows brightness adjustment or switch to a brighter LED light, I think it would be more comfortable. Second, when walking from the parking area to the entrance, there were multiple nests of what looked like horseflies on the ground. There were many of them around and it made entering and leaving the building difficult. Since this is an important pathway for guests, it would be better to remove the nests or take some kind of countermeasure.

I stayed here on the first day of my trip to Rebun Island and Rishiri Island for the first time in about 25 years. The front desk staff were very kind, and check-in was smooth and pleasant. They upgraded me to a Room with windows on two sides and a great view, which felt like an excellent value. As for the baths, only one side has an open-air bath and they rotate between men’s and women’s use. More than that, the washing area on the side without the open-air bath is L-shaped and narrow, so it can be difficult to wash comfortably when it’s crowded. The hot spring water quality was very good. The best part was the food: there were so many delicious dishes—sea urchin, octopus shabu-shabu, grilled scallops, and more—and I was completely satisfied. Truly Rebun Island quality. Breakfast was also excellent, including rice topped with a special egg with a pale yolk from rice-fed hens. The next day I took a sightseeing bus and then boarded the ferry in the afternoon; being right in front of both the bus stop and ferry terminal made it extremely convenient to leave my luggage at the hotel. If I visit Rebun Island again, I would definitely stay here again.

It was truly a wonderful accommodation. The room was filled with a nostalgic atmosphere, providing a sense of relaxation. While the facility does show some age, it is very well-maintained and allowed for a comfortable stay. The young hostess provided exceptionally kind and attentive service, making the entire experience delightful. The meals were exquisite tofu kaiseki dishes, with each dish being meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. I would love to stay here again in the future.

We stayed here last year with our dog and loved it so much that we came back again this year. Our dog had the freedom to play in the garden dog run, and the BBQ while listening to the sound of the waves was amazing. The sunset was beautiful, and from the back door you can reach the beach in no time. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed here to see the sagaribana just before the typhoon. This was my second visit. The hosts’ warm, unpretentious hospitality is wonderful—it really makes you feel like you’ve come to the island. The stars in the night sky were beautiful, almost unbelievable with a typhoon approaching. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Five middle-aged men stayed here together. The building itself has a historic feel, but the interior is well maintained and clean, so it didn’t feel particularly old. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying in both quantity and quality, with a great balance for enjoying drinks as well. The white rice cooked over firewood at the end of the meal was especially delicious. We’d love to return next time with our family.

We visited for a ski trip and were warmly welcomed with smiles by the family who runs this place. The entrance opens up to a beautiful space, the Room was impeccably clean, and the bath had perfect water temperature, spacious enough to stretch out and relax after a tiring day. The meals were visually delightful and offered an abundance of dishes that we couldn’t finish; the roast beef was especially exquisite and absolutely delicious! In the antique-style shared living room, there is a grand piano, a large clock, sofas, and a fireplace. The lounge offers an array of drinks served in stylish cups & saucers that you can enjoy freely. We had such a cozy time relaxing in this warm space even after meals. For ski trips, they also provided us with a drying room as well as a Room for waxing skis—this thoughtful touch truly impressed us. Although it was planned last minute, we had an amazing time here. Thank you so much! We would love to visit again if we have another chance!

On the way there, it was tough because the road was too narrow for cars to pass and there was heavy mist, but I was able to enjoy this wonderful cottage all to myself in a quiet, secluded location. The elderly woman who handled our communication was very kind, and the day after my stay she brought me homemade brown rice okowa, green shiso kelp, and daikon with chirimen—everything was delicious. I will definitely be back.

I made a Reservation at this Accommodation because of the great Reviews. It was just as wonderful as the Reviews said, and I was very satisfied. The building is tastefully designed and offers a relaxing, comfortable space, and each dish was carefully handmade with local ingredients and tasted delicious. The hostess was also very kind and helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The weather wasn’t very good, so I checked in feeling a bit worried, but the staff welcomed us warmly and we had a very pleasant stay. We chose the bring-your-own BBQ Plan with no meals in a cabin, and since we were told the BBQ terrace didn’t have a roof, we brought a tarp just in case of rain. There was a small covered area, so we were able to use the tarp to stay dry and enjoy a wonderful BBQ while listening to the rain and taking in the scenery. With a meal-included Plan, it seems you can enjoy delicious food in a covered space, so choosing meals might mean you don’t have to worry about rain. Inside the cabin, the furniture and Facility were new, and it was very comfortable. Since there was no bathtub, I rated the Onsen/bath category as 3. I love baths, so it would have been even better with a bathtub. There is an Onsen nearby, but you need to drive there—so if you drink alcohol at dinner time, it might be difficult. After the BBQ, we enjoyed fireworks with our child. At night there is no on-site manager, but if you contact them via LINE they reply promptly, which was reassuring. In the morning when we realized we were missing something, they even brought it all the way to our cabin—very kind of them. We heard that deer sometimes come by, so we looked for them excitedly but couldn’t find any—too bad. Next time we stay here again, I hope we’ll be able to spot them. Because of the rain there were no other guests staying at that time, but thank you very much for welcoming us so warmly.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in Kurokawa Onsen. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere and was very comfortable, so I was able to spend a peaceful time even on my own. The Onsen temperature was just right, and it truly soothed my travel fatigue. The Asuka hot pot I had for dinner was especially memorable. The gently flavored soup, like white miso, was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed it all the way to the end without getting tired of it. Every dish made with local ingredients was also wonderful, and both my heart and stomach were completely satisfied. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Thanks to them, I felt refreshed both physically and mentally, making it a memorable solo trip. I would love to come back in a different season. Thank you very much.

I was thrilled to be upgraded to a Room where I could fish right from the room—it was like a dream come true! The sashimi with the meal was also very fresh, and we were completely satisfied with this Accommodation!

A room with extraordinary spaciousness, high ceilings, and a private atmosphere as it is detached. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making it a facility I would recommend even to my most critical friends.

At first, I hesitated to make a reservation since there was no large public bath, but the highly-rated meals convinced me to go ahead. This was the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. Each dish felt carefully prepared and was incredibly delicious. There was plenty of my favorite sashimi, lots of seasonal vegetables, and a healthy menu that left me very satisfied. Although I felt quite full, the portions were just right so I could finish everything without leaving any food behind (which would have made me feel guilty and wasteful). The second night's dinner especially impressed me with its variety—sashimi, simmered fish, fried fish, fish Meunière—and even meat dishes were included! There was an onsen within walking distance right behind the hotel where I could enjoy soaking despite there being no large public bath onsite. The rooftop sauna also felt amazing. I tried SUP for the first time and found it easy to ride and fun! Being able to go directly from my room in swimwear made it super convenient. If I have another chance to visit, I'd definitely love to stay here again!

This is our fourth summer stay, and Hakuba Mountainside never disappoints no matter how many times we visit. The Facility is always kept clean and comfortable, and the front desk and housekeeping staff are polite and friendly, making every stay truly pleasant. The kitchen is also very well equipped, with plenty of cookware for anyone who wants to enjoy serious home cooking. Our summer holiday starts with waking up to birdsong in the morning. We then enjoy a walk, followed by a leisurely lunch with fresh local vegetables and naturally leavened bread. In the afternoon we take a nap, and in the evening we head to Happo-no-Yu, famous for its highly alkaline waters. Soaking slowly while taking in the view from the open-air bath is pure bliss. At night we go to bed early with a book—this luxurious, peaceful day is something we repeat every year. And by the end of our trip—perhaps thanks to Happo-no-Yu—our skin feels wonderfully smooth and makeup goes on surprisingly well, which has become one of our annual pleasures too.

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!
