Directly connected to Shin-Urayasu Station, and even when we arrived around 1:00 p.m., the front desk smoothly stored our luggage. With Atre and AEON nearby, it’s convenient to grab a meal or do some shopping before check-in. The guest room offered great views through the large windows, and the glass-walled bathroom made the space feel especially open. Being able to enjoy the outside scenery from the bathtub felt like a luxurious touch. The TV was placed at the foot of the bed, making it easy to watch while relaxing. We also visited the bar on the 22nd floor; the night view from the counter seats was beautiful, and it was a calm place to unwind. The parking lot is underground, and guests can use it for just under JPY 3,000 per night. It seems there is also a Plan that allows you to keep your car parked for a while after check-out, which should be convenient for those traveling by car.

The Room is clean, and the bathroom and toilet are also spotless. There are plenty of places to eat, and a convenience store is nearby. Especially since there’s a Don Quijote close by.

We stayed with a toddler and had a wonderful experience. It’s a very child-friendly Hotel, with a great play area and plenty of amenities for kids. The breakfast and the meals in the tea room were also delicious, and we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very attentive as well. Thanks to you, we had an enjoyable trip. Thank you very much. When we travel to Kobe again, we would love to stay here.

I stayed for two nights. It was a very comfortable stay, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again.

This was my repeat stay, and once again I felt it is an outstanding Hotel in every way. The thoughtful attention to detail, the staff’s naturally warm hospitality, and the impeccably maintained surroundings were all perfect. I have stayed at other Hotels on Kohama Island, but this is the only choice for me.

I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.

I stay here regularly as a member. This time, I booked through Ikkyu because it was cheaper than the hotel’s official website. On Ikkyu, check-out is at 11:00, but my membership benefits were applied and I was able to enjoy a late check-out until 12:00.

This was my second stay. The hot springs and stone sauna were excellent, and overall I was very satisfied. I booked an additional single room on the day due to availability, and I really appreciated that you accommodated my request for a non-smoking room. Thank you for your hospitality. I will visit again.

I suddenly got some time off and decided on a trip to Kyoto. Since I made the Reservation the day before, it was almost fully booked and I couldn’t choose the Room type, but the price was reasonable so I went ahead and booked. The building was very clean, and I was happy that the bath was an Onsen! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I was very satisfied. In addition to the welcome drink, there were plenty of free services to enjoy, which felt like a great deal… All of the staff were friendly, so I had a very comfortable stay. It was a last-minute trip, but I’m truly glad I stayed here. Super, super satisfied!!! One more thing: The aroma used throughout the property smelled wonderful and helped me relax even more. Thank you very much.

After our wedding, my wife and I stayed here with friends. We used the connecting Room, and it was perfect—you can either separate the Rooms properly or connect them as needed. As for the Facility, we used all of the lounges throughout the property, and it’s no exaggeration to say it’s ideal for visiting with friends. Every lounge had drinks, plenty of space to chat, and areas to have fun—we had a great time.

This was our second stay. We visited in a different season, and both times were truly wonderful. This time, we requested a later dinner time and were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The meals made great use of local ingredients—everything was delicious, from the surprisingly tender octopus to the fresh sashimi—and we also enjoyed breakfast. We were deeply impressed by the warm, attentive care from all the staff. It’s a lovely place where you can feel comfortable and at ease. Next time, we would love to visit in May, when we’re told the sunset glows golden.

A wide variety of drinks were available—the gin was delicious, and there was also a great selection of wines—so it was perfect for me as someone who enjoys alcohol. The room wasn’t on the mountain side, but I was able to relax in the open space on the first floor, read a book, and enjoy the complimentary coffee service. The open-air bath is set in nature, and I used it several times. Next time, I’m thinking of coming with my daughter.

From the moment I walked in, a staff member greeted me. I used to avoid business hotels because they often lack cleanliness and good service, but here every staff member made a great impression—from their greetings to the way they responded. Even if guests aren’t making eye contact, you can still hear that they always make sure to speak to you. I used to work in customer service myself, so I tend to notice these things, and this is a hotel that made me want to stay again. It’s two stops away from Kyoto Station, but instead of searching for coin lockers at Kyoto Station or renting one, I thought it would be better to leave my luggage here. When I asked, they kindly took care of it without hesitation. This was a hotel where I could genuinely say “thank you for taking care of me” at the end. The bathroom and changing area were also clean. I think I’ll be staying here again on future business trips.

It was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with the hotel—the room and the front desk service were both excellent.

We stayed for one night on the dog-friendly Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Both the seafood hot pot and breakfast were delicious. The seafood hot pot portion was a bit small, so if you have a big appetite, I recommend bringing extra ingredients. For breakfast, the made-to-order omelet and French toast from the live kitchen were especially good. The bath area had fewer washing stations than expected, so you may have to wait during busy times. The shower was easy to use (adjustable water pressure and it didn’t shut off automatically), and the ReFa hair dryer dried even long hair quickly. There were also a pool and table tennis in the building, plus board games available to borrow for in-Room play—our child loved them. The Room felt like a luxury apartment model unit, with the bedroom clearly separated from the living/dining/kitchen area, so we could relax without worrying even after our child fell asleep. If you have a Netflix account, you can watch it on the TV. That said, it’s hard to ignore that some detailed cleaning in the Room seemed insufficient—especially how dirty the air conditioner and ventilation fan were, which was disappointing. The air conditioner had heavy blackish stains that looked like mold not only inside but also on the exterior. The ventilation filters in the changing area and toilet were packed with dust, which was shocking. Also, while the bathroom and kitchen areas were kept clean overall, limescale hadn’t been fully removed from the small sink installed in the toilet. Dog amenities were well stocked overall, making this Accommodation great value for money and one we’d like to stay at again—but because both the air conditioner and vents were truly dirty, I hope they will be thoroughly cleaned before our next visit.

I’ve stayed here several times. It’s conveniently located near the station, and both the Hotel exterior and the Room are clean and comfortable. When I leave my luggage, the staff always assist me pleasantly, which I really appreciate. They also offer ramen as a late-night snack and ice cream, which is perfect when you want a little something after dinner.

As soon as we parked, a staff member came over and guided us smoothly to the front desk. The guidance to our room and the explanation of the facilities were also clear and easy to understand. The room was spacious and spotless, and we were very satisfied with the private open-air bath. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly luxurious, with so much food it was hard to finish, but the gentle seasoning made everything easy to enjoy. When we left, all the staff at the front desk came out to see us off. I loved the food, the room, and especially the staff. I’d love to stay again.

The view from the room was wonderful, and the meals were delicious. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and they assisted us with great care. I have stayed at many accommodations, but this was the best. The only minor drawback was that the bath uses a recirculating system, so there was a slight chlorine smell. Still, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed at Fujitaya, a historic ryokan in Yugawara. What stood out first was the beautifully preserved historic building, which is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. The atmosphere of a traditional Japanese inn can be felt throughout, and despite its age, it is meticulously maintained. It didn’t feel simply “old”—it felt like a place that has been carefully protected with respect for its history, creating a truly charming setting. The highlight of this stay was the food. Dinner was served in the room as kaiseki cuisine, and every dish was delicious—I could really sense the high quality. I’m a slow eater, but the attendant kindly adjusted to my pace until the very end. They were considerate about when to bring each course, and in particular, our attendant chatted with us warmly between dishes, which made the meal even more enjoyable. It reminded me that staying at a ryokan isn’t only about eating well—it’s also about these personal interactions. I truly appreciated being able to enjoy dinner slowly along with such pleasant conversation. That said, because it is in-room kaiseki dining, staff will come in and out frequently to serve dishes and clear them away. I personally appreciated the attentive service, but for guests who prioritize privacy or quiet time in their room, this may be something to keep in mind. The hot spring baths were also excellent—especially the quality of the water. Soaking slowly in such good onsen within a historic building felt like a luxury unique to an established ryokan. It is not an inexpensive place to stay, but considering the delicious kaiseki cuisine, high-quality onsen water, and above all the thoughtful hospitality, it was more than satisfying. A wonderful ryokan that carefully preserves its historic architecture while never compromising on food or service—an experience that reminded me of what makes long-established Japanese inns so special.
