This was my first time visiting Yuda Onsen. It was very comfortable, as we could use the elevator both for going to the hot springs and for meals. The portion sizes were just right, and I was pleasantly surprised by a new way of eating fugu sashimi with sesame oil and salt. Breakfast was also excellent—I enjoyed egg over rice with freshly shaved bonito flakes and even had seconds. The young proprietress and all the staff were very kind, so we had a wonderful stay. I would like to visit again.

It is in a very convenient location for visiting the excellent Japanese restaurants and kappo dining in Gosho-minami, so I stay here often. The Room is kept clean and well prepared, the amenities are well stocked, and it also comes with Maeda Coffee, Marukyu Koyamaen Japanese tea bags, and sweets—perfect for a relaxing break. This is my favorite Hotel in Kyoto. On my last visit, even though it was not yet check-in time, they kindly let me check in early because my Room was ready, which I truly appreciated.

We stayed to recuperate after an illness during the intense heat. We would definitely like to come again in every season. The view from the Room and the night scenery were very soothing. The hamo hot pot kaiseki was exquisite.

We stayed for one night with my daughter’s family, our grandchildren, and our Chihuahua. The Room was clean and spacious, and the kids and our Chihuahua were running around happily!! We were very satisfied to enjoy a BBQ on the covered terrace without worrying about the weather. Breakfast arrived warm in the delivery box, so we could eat right away—and it was delicious! The bathroom was also spacious, and we all enjoyed it together. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t use the dog run, but we’d love to come back and try again! We’ll definitely stay again as a family.

Wonderful! I was very satisfied with the price and the facilities. The rate, in particular, was unbelievably low. I wasn’t expecting anything from breakfast (given the price), but it was actually good. Since there’s only a shower booth, I’m a bit concerned about staying in midwinter. In any case, among all the hotels I’ve stayed at (dozens), this one is by far No. 1 for value for money. It’s far from my home, so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to visit again, but there’s no doubt it’s a hotel I’d like to return to. I don’t know if it was because it was the off-season, but next time I’d like to stay in midwinter.

I stayed here on a business trip. It wasn’t as small as I expected, and there was enough space to move around comfortably. The property isn’t new, but it was well cleaned. Above all, I appreciated the large desk and the effective air conditioning. The front desk staff were pleasant, and I had no issues with overall convenience during my stay. However, the complimentary drip coffee didn’t taste good, which was disappointing—but since it’s a free service, it can’t really be helped.

I stayed here last July with my wife, and in October with my mother and aunt. This was our third stay, at the request of my mother and aunt who wanted to visit again. As with the previous two stays, we had a wonderful time from check-in to check-out. Thank you again to all the staff.

As a returning guest, I’m impressed every time by the wonderful meals and the staff’s hospitality. I truly enjoyed the rich, flavorful cuisine, and I deeply appreciate the staff’s thoughtful care. This is an Accommodation I want to visit again and again. Thank you.

We stayed here for an overnight trip and a family gathering. From the warm welcome upon arrival, commemorative photos with Mt. Fuji in the background, attentive service during our meal, the hot springs and open-air bath, to breakfast—everything was truly wonderful. (All of the dishes were delicious and highly recommended.) Although the building is older, areas such as the layout and in-room toilets have been renovated, making it very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here. Overall, it was good, but one disappointing point was that part of the inside of the bathtub had not been cleaned thoroughly and felt rough, which was unpleasant. I drained the water once, washed the tub, then refilled it before taking a bath.

The staff’s hospitality, the quality of the meals, the atmosphere of the Room, and the surrounding environment all exceeded our expectations. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy a truly special getaway, and our dog was stress-free as well. Thank you.

Whenever I stay in Chiba, I choose this Accommodation. It’s right by the station, making shopping, dining, and getting around very convenient. What I like most is that the bathroom has a separate washing area. However (as with most Business Hotels), I’d like one more face towel. Men may not mind, but I have long hair and want to wrap a towel around my head after bathing, so it feels like there aren’t enough towels.

It’s rare to enjoy this level of cuisine, hot springs, and service at this price, and the garden is also wonderful. The facilities are impeccably clean. It stands out even among Japan’s luxury ryokan.

Thank you always for your wonderful hospitality. While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. I look forward to visiting again.

As my parents have gotten older and we don’t know how many more trips we’ll be able to take together, I invited my brother and brought my daughter for a family trip. Because my mother has rheumatoid arthritis, we chose this Accommodation on the conditions that the Room had an open-air bath and that all five of us could stay in the same Room. It turned out to be far better than we imagined. We arrived late for check-in, but we were warmly welcomed and given a courteous explanation. Women can choose their preferred yukata pattern to wear inside the Accommodation. The lobby offered complimentary drinks including alcohol; I had a drink for the first time in 10 years, and it was delicious. There were also three kinds of cookies, all of which we enjoyed. Many of the staff were young, and everyone provided very polite service. Because the Accommodation is small and intimate, we rarely ran into other guests, which allowed us to relax completely. Every meal was excellent. Thank you as well for accommodating my child’s allergies. For breakfast, they served a Western-style option for children, so there were many items my child could eat, which made us very happy. Both the Room and the open-air bath seemed new and were spotless—there is nothing to complain about—but above all else, the view is outstanding. The river flows right in front of you, and you can enjoy it almost privately not only from the lobby but also from your Room. We were truly moved by it. We heard that peak autumn foliage is around early November, so next time I would like to make a Reservation around then if possible. If I may make one request: I would appreciate it if cleansing oil could be provided in the Room. When I asked at reception they kindly brought it right away so it wasn’t an issue in practice; however, some guests may use only the in-room open-air bath without going elsewhere, so I hope you will consider it. Lastly, thank you very much for helping us create such wonderful memories on this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed the silky Yuda Onsen. We also chose the BBQ for dinner, and everything was delicious (beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, etc.). The Matsuri sauce in particular was outstanding—we bought three bottles to take home. We stayed in a Japanese-style room; it was spacious, and the futon was comfortable, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

We visited as a couple with our dog. Every staff member was wonderful, and their hospitality made us feel very comfortable. All drinks were free, and we loved being able to enjoy apple juice, Starbucks coffee, and Malts beer in our room. When we mentioned we wanted a café au lait, they kindly offered to bring us milk as well. The room was spacious and spotless. The private open-air bath in the guest room used Ikaho Onsen water, and there was also a bathtub for our dog. When we told them we planned to bathe our dog, they provided dog shampoo, conditioner, and towels. There was also a blower in the washroom area, so drying was easy and comfortable. For humans as well, everything was ReFa—both owners and pets ended up with silky-smooth hair. The basement is a dog run, which is great because you can play even on rainy days (there’s also a paw-washing station). The sofa area for people is very comfortable too. Meals are served in private booths with nameplates, so you can dine together with your dog. There are multiple pet menu options such as venison, chicken, steak, and hamburger steak. Since our dog is small and we worried it might be too much food, they kindly let us take the standard dog bread home unopened. Our dog devoured the venison steak so enthusiastically that he couldn’t even wait properly. We are very sorry that our dog had an accident on the futon. The cleaning fee of 2,980 yen could only be paid in cash. It was an amazing place to stay—highly recommended.

After dinner, when we stepped outside, it was pitch-dark—only the sounds of insects and the flowing river. The mountain view wrapped in morning mist was truly beautiful, and this Accommodation was incredibly relaxing. Every time, I enjoy looking for a Hotel with Rooms that make my family say “Wow!”—and this time, of course, they did. Seeing the exterior, they said they never expected such a beautiful Room (laugh). Before our stay, we received a phone call about road closures and allergies; everyone was so kind that even before arriving, I already wanted to come back. The meals also reflected the cook’s kindness—everything served warm was freshly made and delicious. We couldn’t finish everything and ended up leaving some of the kamameshi rice. They kindly offered to make rice balls for us, but we were truly too full so we declined. It was very tasty, but there were really so many dishes that if upgrading meant slightly smaller portions and perhaps one more type of sashimi instead, that would be wonderful. The bath was also great, but the shower position was too high, and I wished there had been cold water available after getting out. If it were closer to home, it’s an Accommodation I’d want to visit every year.
