I often visit the nearby shops, so I’d been curious about this place for a while and decided to stay. It’s set slightly back from the main street, but the attached bakery is delicious, and there are many great restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient location. The interior has a modern Japanese style, and the solid wood flooring feels great even barefoot. The standout feature is the large hinoki bath. Even tall guests can stretch their legs out comfortably, and the scent of hinoki is very relaxing. It’s rare to find such a large hinoki bath even at other Hotels. The tub can also be filled automatically, which was fantastic. All Facilities are up to date, and there was nothing inconvenient compared with staying at a Hotel. Since this is a renovated property with traditional-sized beams, guests over 180 cm may bump their head, so please be careful—it’s annoying at first but you get used to it. There are some downsides—like the TV being hard to figure out and the stairs being steep—but the biggest thing to note is that because this Facility shares space with shops, you can hear more noise than expected from early morning as the bakery prepares for opening. During the day as well, you can clearly hear customers and probably children of people eating in. From the large opening at the back of the second floor and from the rear garden area, you can also smell bread coming in from the bakery. Whether this feels noisy or adds to its machiya character may depend on personal preference. There were moments when it didn’t feel very calm, but overall it was a good experience. With the pool on-site, we were able to have a lot of fun even when the weather was uncertain. However, as we expected, it was a bit inconvenient that there were no tableware items other than wine glasses. Next time, we feel it’s essential to bring plastic cups, paper plates, chopsticks, and similar items. Other than that, everything was very comfortable. The location is also very close to Sesoko Island, and we could even enjoy Sesoko Island’s fireworks from our Room. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of six friends. It’s a spacious three-story log house. The large system kitchen is clean and easy to use. The jacuzzi bath was so relaxing that we had to take turns using it. Since it was a girls' trip, we wished there had been an additional bathroom sink.

We stayed with our 8-month-old child and a family of three. The dappled sunlight through the garden with the white wisteria tree was pleasant, allowing us to relax and enjoy the time as the day turned to night. As it is a property limited to one group, I think it is perfect for relaxing. (It was also very nice for us as a family to have a place where we could let our child roll around.) The hostess takes care of everything from check-in to serving meals and providing shuttle service. She is a very loving person, accommodating our various requests, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. This time, we requested various things like baby food and a surprise cake for our wedding anniversary. They prepared local vegetables and a cake from a recommended shop, allowing us to feel the essence of the area while staying at the property. Around the property, there are stylish shops utilizing the townscape of storehouses. If you visit, I think you can ask the hostess for recommendations on good places to visit. This is a property recommended for a long and leisurely stay. This time, we relaxed from lunchtime until the next day's noon. (The coffee we had on the garden veranda in the morning was delicious.) It seems they also accommodate late check-out until 5 PM, so it might be worth considering for your travel schedule.

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

We comfortably stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. All the tableware was neatly stored in wrapping bags, and we had to open each plastic bag to use them. While it was excellent in terms of hygiene, it was a bit of a hassle, and I thought that disposing of the plastic each time might not be good for the environment. However, from the perspective of maintaining the cleanliness of the property, I thought it was very good. In addition to the tableware, the interior, appliances, and mattresses were all the latest, and the modern Scandinavian style lifted our spirits. As an interior enthusiast, I was thrilled and soothed to be surrounded by a beautiful space with items like a Dyson hairdryer, Remipan, Staub pot, Royal Copenhagen tableware, and Louis Poulsen lighting. One thing to mention is that the AI cooking appliance was so advanced that it took quite some time to master its use (I'm still not sure if I used it correctly...). There were also plenty of tools for the children to play with, so they didn't get bored. They especially seemed to enjoy the outdoor bouldering. (However, since the ground is stone, I was a bit concerned about safety unless an adult was always present... I thought it would be better if cushions were laid out.) The most wonderful thing was the spectacular view of the lake from the large windows. The sunrise, in particular, was breathtaking. If I have the opportunity to visit Hamamatsu again, I would definitely like to use this property. Although I didn't meet the staff in person, they responded promptly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Thank you very much.

I stayed for 6 nights. During my stay, there were some irregularities, but the staff and manager responded kindly and professionally. Due to the nature of Miyako Island, the presence of many insects is unavoidable, but there is also an annex in addition to the main building. Including the facilities, I had a very satisfying stay. This Accommodation was the main purpose of our trip. From the front desk, it’s a stylish space. There is a restroom and bath on the first floor, and a living room, kitchen, and bedroom on the second floor. When you enter the Room, the entryway is filled with a lovely aroma scent. The overall design—wood with gray, green, and navy tones—was very calming. The pillars, beams, and window glass make use of older materials while everything still feels beautifully designed! Thoughtful details like linen cloths, incredibly comfortable pajamas for sleeping, and delicious coffee were also outstanding. It seems difficult to cook elaborate meals in the kitchen, but you can prepare simple dishes. There is also a supermarket nearby. We went to a nearby Italian trattoria (Trattoria OB) on the first night, then made an easy meal on the second night and enjoyed wine at a relaxed pace. We had seen Reviews mentioning insects might appear, but perhaps because of the season we didn’t encounter any. You can also use the lounge at their affiliated Hotel “Toyooka 1925.” We used it three times; it wasn’t crowded and we could relax comfortably each time. “Toyooka 1925” is also a stylish space. We were able to spend slow time without using TV or internet—it was two very satisfying days for us.

Wi-Fi is weak. Ventilation in the bedroom can be noisy (possibly due to weather conditions). There are few power outlets, no kitchen scissors, and no curtains in the living room, making it bright. However, the Facility is modern with a high-performing BBQ grill and a good selection of tableware (though more mineral water would be appreciated). Additionally, the sightseeing advice about the island given before check-out was very helpful.
