The original Onsen temperature was a bit high, so adjusting it each time was slightly inconvenient, but having both indoor and outdoor baths at this price is amazing. Truly luxurious! I also appreciated the massage chair. I had requested amenities and towels in advance, and they prepared plenty for me, including body lotion, which was very helpful.

I traveled to Nagasaki for a Golden Week getaway. Away from everyday life, I was able to fully enjoy a quiet, restorative retreat. The hospitality was truly exceptional—there was nothing to fault. The food was also outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the ingredients from Hirado, and every dish was delicious. It was my first time trying a morning sauna, and I could relax while watching the ever-changing sea view. At checkout, they even prepared drinks for our car ride home. It was my first time experiencing that kind of thoughtfulness, and I was genuinely moved. This Accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’d love to stay again.

You can stay in the former Soma family’s kura storehouse, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property. It was an amazing experience. Since we usually live surrounded by excessive information and stimulation, being in a room with no TV or clock makes time feel like it flows more slowly. The location is also perfect as a base for sightseeing. Having the staff show us around the former Soma family’s main house was full of surprises and really enjoyable. We also visited the recommended local food spots and were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

I love hotel stays and have stayed at many Hotels across Japan, but this Hotel was exceptional. In particular, the views of Mt. Yotei from the Room and the large public bath, as well as the sea of clouds I saw from the rooftop early in the morning, were breathtaking. It seemed there were only a few guests during my stay, so I was able to use both the fitness gym and the large public bath almost privately. The gym had Pilates machines and state-of-the-art equipment, which made working out even better. The shampoo and conditioner in the large public bath had a lovely scent and were very relaxing. I was also happy that the hair dryer was a Dyson product. Breakfast was served as a set course with a choice of Japanese or Western options. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. During my stay I caused some trouble by accident, but every staff member responded with great kindness—thank you very much. Personally, I loved the Room’s color scheme and interior design; it really lifted my mood. If I visit Niseko again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our stay. It was our first trip to Shikoku, and it became a truly memorable journey. The warm welcome at check-in helped us unwind after sightseeing in the heat. We were also very happy with the drink service in the lobby. The Onsen was clean and very relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we strongly felt we want to come back just to eat them again—especially the dashi broth (shabu-shabu), which was outstanding! The Room was a good size, but we did notice an unpleasant smell in it. We couldn’t tell what it was—perhaps alcohol or something from the Facility—which was disappointing. Thank you for your heartfelt service. There’s no doubt many more guests will continue to visit Shikishimakan—it's a wonderful Accommodation!

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. There are no nearby houses, and although we had heard that muntjac sometimes damage the fields, we enjoyed a salad made with freshly picked lettuce and herbs from those very fields. I was hoping to see a muntjac. The bamboo grove behind the property was beautiful.

We stayed with four adults and were able to relax comfortably. Outside the window, we could see trees and the waterfront, surrounded by nature. The Room facilities and location were excellent, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. There are no dining options on-site, so we ate freely at our favorite restaurants, but for breakfast we bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked for ourselves. If I had to mention one drawback, there was a persistent cigarette smell—perhaps because outside air is brought in—which was unpleasant; otherwise it felt perfect.

Ever since I discovered Shukabura on an accommodation booking site a few years ago, I had been dreaming of staying here someday. The owner couple are friendly and down-to-earth. With just the right sense of distance, they respected my privacy while offering thoughtful care that anticipated every need. Not only the beautiful hill scenery, but also their warmth is a major reason this place makes you want to “come back home” again. Every piece of villa decor was so lovely I wanted to photograph it, and finding the charming little items placed throughout felt like a treasure hunt. The compact interior had everything I needed, and as someone whose hair tends to explode in the morning, I was genuinely impressed that there were even two types of hair irons provided. The cosmetics and bath/hair care amenities also smelled wonderful—I ended up lingering in the bath longer than planned. The local ingredients prepared for breakfast were all surprisingly delicious, especially the vegetables. I couldn’t stop tasting them just to check doneness—and even bought extra vegetables at a local farmers’ market. As someone who enjoys cooking (not necessarily claiming I’m good at it), I loved making my own meals while admiring the stunning view from the living room, making time spent in the Room truly special. This trip was a solo journey for self-care made possible by warm support from those around me. During my stay there were many rainy or cloudy days and strong winds, so it might not be considered “good weather” in general. Even so, there were sights I could only experience because of these conditions: a rainbow after the rain; layered clouds drifting by; a sky changing moment by moment; wheat rippling in the wind; and white buckwheat flowers swaying gently. This stay reminded me once again that Biei’s charm isn’t limited to sunny days. This was my seventh visit to Biei. The colors of the hills, shades of the sky, shapes of clouds, and growing trees all look different each time—no matter how many times I come back over time, there is always something new that moves me. Next time, I’d love to visit Biei in midwinter—still unknown to me—and watch snowy scenery from Shukabura. Thank you very much for such a truly fulfilling stay for both body and mind.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited Kominka Tanaka. With a pool, sauna, spacious kitchen, large-group dining kitchen, a roomy bath, and even an open-air bath, plus a washer-dryer and amenities—everything is thoughtfully provided. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back right away. This time we had a lively adults-only stay, but one night flew by—next time I’d like to stay for two nights.

We stayed with no meals included, and it was the perfect choice for us to enjoy quality time together without worrying about others. The highlight was being able to use the irori (traditional Japanese hearth). We brought meat and ingredients we picked up along the way and slowly grilled them over the charcoal fire of the irori. The aroma of the charcoal was delightful. We also made a hot pot, and it was convenient that all necessary cooking utensils were provided. Cooking together created enjoyable moments as well. Of course, the sauna was fantastic too. With ponchos provided, we could even enjoy an outdoor cool-down session in chilly weather. Although it's a traditional Japanese house, it has been tastefully renovated. The facilities like plumbing and air conditioning are well-maintained, making it clean and comfortable to stay in. The historical earthen floor area is charming as well—every corner is picture-perfect. We’re looking forward to visiting other accommodations by Ruuf that we haven’t been to yet! I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who runs a business. Among the Hotels I have used in the past, I was truly impressed by the highest level of hospitality and the speed of response. When I shared my requests via LINE, I sometimes received an immediate reply, and their concierge-like service was outstanding. Thank you very much.

The room was clean and spacious, providing enough space even for a large group. The massage service was available, and I used it—it was excellent. Our dog was thrilled to run around on the artificial turf. Even our pet, who usually stays still in unclean places, seemed relaxed and comfortable, which gave us peace of mind. The villa manager was kind and accommodating, allowing both us and our dog to enjoy a pleasant stay throughout. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance!

We visited for a New Year's trip with our beloved dog. This cozy accommodation, renovated from a traditional Japanese house, allowed us to relax and unwind. Our dog seemed very happy running freely in the garden and being pampered by the kind staff. We would love to visit again during the warmer season.

We stayed here with six friends during the Obon holidays. The interior was spacious and very clean—easily the best entire-home Accommodation we’ve stayed in so far. In the evening, we bought seafood at a nearby supermarket and had a barbecue in the garden. Everything was fully equipped, and we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably without any hassle. After that, we used the sauna and outdoor cold-water bath in the garden and had an amazing night. The only downside was that when we got hungry late at night, most restaurants were already closed early, and there isn’t a convenience store nearby. The amenities were as well stocked as a Hotel, so we had no trouble during our stay. We’d definitely like to stay again next time!!

This was our second stay, and we visited as a couple. Once again we stayed in the WEST building (my favorite, with a stone sauna). It’s a private villa-style Accommodation with high walls, so you can relax without worrying about the surroundings. When we opened the door, even the long hallway was nicely heated and warm, and the living room was cozy too. And this time there were complimentary drinks in the fridge—Pocari Sweat, mineral water, Perrier, and more—which was a lovely added service! The new cold plunge pool had been filled with hot water this time, so we could soak slowly as if it were an open-air bath—it felt amazing. Part of it is deep enough to submerge up to your neck, so you do need to be careful, but it was a bath experience you don’t often find elsewhere. And another major new addition—the cave-like sauna we’d been looking forward to—lets you lie down inside; my sauna-loving husband was thrilled and said the tea löyly aroma was wonderful. This time we also booked an on-site private chef for the first time. Dinner started with appetizers and soup, followed by sea bream with perfectly crisped skin served with an orange butter sauce; the wagyu came with nori and a red wine sauce—everything tasted incredible. The strawberry mille-feuille dessert and fromage blanc ice cream were outstanding!! We were completely satisfied being able to savor such a luxurious course at our own pace. Breakfast was also very filling: a generously stuffed sandwich, two kinds of quiche, plus strawberries and yogurt—an excellent professional-quality meal that we fully enjoyed. Everything was delicious. We were also impressed by how gently the chef explained each dish (almost like whispering) and how smoothly everything came together. The stylish black-themed space and interior are wonderful every time we visit. The latest Facilities and high-end appliances can take some getting used to if you don’t read the manuals carefully, but everything—from tableware to decor—is tasteful, making it easy to spend special time comfortably at your own pace. Just one thing: I mistakenly thought the chef would arrive at 16:00; in reality they arrived at 17:30 and dinner started at 18:30. I regret not confirming in advance—I might have been able to enjoy my beloved stone sauna a bit more while waiting. Highly recommended for anyone who loves saunas or stone saunas—and for those who want a special dining experience in an extraordinary setting! We stayed last time at the end of summer and had great fun using the pool at night too, so we’d love to come again in summer.

December is a busy season. Also, being sensitive to the cold, I tend to hesitate to go outside. However, I decided to thoroughly search travel sites. Words like wood stove, sauna, and bonfire caught my eye, and I chose 2gether foret! I was surprised when I arrived! There was a style that exceeded my imagination and suited my taste. Luxurious time spent in the Room. It was my first experience with a wood stove, but it warmed me from the core, and even someone like me who is sensitive to the cold was very satisfied. In the sauna, I enjoyed the experience of relaxing on the deck while gazing at the trees outside... it was pleasant. I was impressed by how wonderful winter activities could feel. Next, I want to experience how to spend time in extreme cold... (laughs) Thank you very much. I will visit again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. Thanks to you, we had a truly comfortable stay. Both the building and the interior suited our taste, and it made us want to book a Multiple Night Stay. Unfortunately, it was rainy, so the view from the window was a gray monotone, but that had its own charm and atmosphere. If it had been sunny, I’m sure the scenery would have been wonderful. The bath and sauna were also excellent! The location is special—it felt completely removed from everyday life—making it perfect for a vacation. We’ve found another favorite place. We would love to stay again. Next time, we’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and take our time enjoying the Noto Peninsula.

This is my favorite Accommodation for business trips, with a relaxing large public bath, delicious breakfast, and free parking.

My children really enjoyed it. We wanted to choose the outdoor BBQ Plan, but it was too cold so we decided not to. We’d like to stay again during summer vacation. Also, we forgot our child’s backpack and asked you to send it cash on delivery, but you sent it prepaid. It’s rare to find service like this, so we were very satisfied.

We had a very comfortable stay. The surroundings were quiet, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and both the Room and the bath were surprisingly clean. The owner was very kind to us, which made our stay truly pleasant. It was a wonderful trip, and we are grateful to the owner.
