A stay given as a birthday gift! They also brought a cake as a surprise, and both the Onsen and the Room were spacious—everything was excellent.

The Room felt open and comfortable, and I was able to relax. The coffee service was also great. There is an underground parking garage, but a Reservation is required via the website. I forgot to Reserve, which made getting around a bit difficult.

This was my first time staying here with friends. At check-in, the front desk staff greeted us with a warm smile, which made us feel at ease. The exterior and hallways felt a bit dated, but the Room had been renovated and was very clean and stylish. The view was great too, making our trip even more enjoyable. I didn’t use the bath, so I’m giving it 3 stars, but the shower room was also very clean. A friend accidentally left something important in the car and we suddenly needed to mail it out. When we asked at the front desk, they kindly lent us an envelope and glue (which we were planning to buy at a convenience store) and handled everything quickly—this really helped us a lot. When I was heating up some corn we received in the microwave, a staff member brought over a plate saying, “Would you like to use this?” There were many moments like this where we felt their thoughtful attention to detail. This is a Hotel I would definitely recommend to everyone. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

This was my second stay, and this time I visited in summer. The Room was much larger than last time and seemed newly renovated—a Japanese-Western style Room with beds. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room in a separate building, the same as before. This time it was a summer-style kaiseki featuring sweetfish (ayu). (In winter, it’s wild boar hot pot.) The open-air bath in the Room was also great. There are two large public baths; my favorite is the one with hot spring water cascading like a waterfall, which is used as the men’s bath at night and the women’s bath in the morning. I was even more satisfied than last time. Guests ranged from families with children to couples and married couples. Even the walk from the parking lot to the Room has a charming atmosphere, so I can recommend it. The service is very polite as well. (It seems staff change between dinner and breakfast—there were lots of “mom”-type staff members in the morning.) You’ll find tanuki figures all around. Also, the vending machines are reasonably priced, and it was nice that there were bottled drinks for each guest plus a thermos of iced water in the Room. (So you don’t need to buy water beforehand.) *Since you can’t tell the exact Room layout at Reservation, if you care about futons vs beds or whether there is a partition for the bath area, it may be best to call and confirm.* (The Room we had last time in February 2025 had futons, and if you opened the curtain by the open-air bath you could be seen. This time we had a Western-style bedroom with beds, and there was also a door/wooden screen by the open-air bath—so there were differences. It’s possible renovations have been done since then.)

I chose this Hotel because smoking is allowed, and I was able to leave my luggage before check-in upon arrival, so I didn’t have to look for a coin locker. I don’t usually eat breakfast, but it was so delicious that I’m glad I booked the plan with breakfast included. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a smoking Deluxe Single Room. The Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, and I had a very comfortable stay. I accidentally left something behind, but they kindly assisted me over the phone, and this is a wonderful Hotel with a high level of satisfaction in every aspect. Whenever I visit Kyoto, I will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel has a wonderful overall atmosphere, and everything was kept very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the front desk service and the staff during meals, everything was excellent. Thanks to you, I had a truly pleasant time—thank you very much. Mt. Fuji from the bath, Mt. Fuji from the guest room, and Mt. Fuji while enjoying breakfast. Although the sky was cloudy, Mt. Fuji appearing now and then was breathtaking. I chose the Western-style breakfast, and everything was delicious—I left completely full in the morning. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

I stayed for three nights with breakfast included. Breakfast was buffet-style: meatballs were the main dish on the first day, barayaki on the second, and chashu pork on the third. I was happy to start each morning feeling full. The staff were polite and pleasant, and it made me like Aomori even more.

The large public bath also had many open-air baths, which was great, but the Room also had an open-air bath, so it was wonderful to soak at night and again early in the morning. Even after checkout, we could still use the large public bath, and we were given fresh towels at the front desk, so we were very satisfied. There is a restaurant for dinner, but breakfast is bring-your-own only; there is a 7-Eleven right in front of the property, so we used that. I wish there had been a Plan with an 11:00 checkout.

I have visited Noboribetsu several times, but this Hotel surprised me with its spacious Room! It was very relaxing. The Onsen was great, and I felt refreshed. It would be nice if there were wider yukatas available for fuller-figured guests.

A perfectly standard Room with no issues. Personally, I was a bit disappointed there was only one pillow, but it’s a business hotel so that’s understandable. With breakfast included at this price and a great location, it worked very well for my needs on this trip.

A Resort Hotel just under an hour’s drive from home for local residents. A weekend getaway with the family to escape reality. This time, we booked a one-night stay with dinner and breakfast included. A brand-new Hotel, stylish Asian-inspired interiors, a beautiful ocean view from the Room, delicious food, wonderfully friendly staff who greeted us anytime and anywhere, and excellent amenities—everything was perfect, and my wife and child were thrilled. I’m truly glad we came. On the drive home we agreed it felt so good that one night wasn’t enough. This kind of luxury—being able to spend time like this once in a while—is nice to have. A relaxing, happy time. Highly recommended!

We made a Reservation to spend some relaxing time together, as this is our 25th wedding anniversary and my husband has been away on a long-term solo assignment. With only a small number of Rooms, it was quiet, and the meals were served in semi-private dining spaces, so we could enjoy them without distractions. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. As for the baths, we used the open-air bath with a pool, and swimming while looking out at the natural scenery was great fun—it made me feel like a kid again. Our Room also had an open-air bath, so we could soak whenever we liked while enjoying the view. It was wonderful. The service was courteous, and we truly had a comfortable stay. We would love to stay again in another season. Just one thing: it would be even better if the entrance door to the Room matched the overall atmosphere more.

This was my second stay at Route Inn Iwaki. I booked a breakfast-included Plan, but a line of about 50 people had formed by the 6:30 a.m. opening time, and even after 15 minutes I still couldn’t get in. I returned my breakfast ticket to the front desk and checked out. The large public bath was appealing, but next time I’m considering the Toyoko Inn next door. If breakfast opened at 6:00 a.m., even if it still took 30 minutes to enter with a line of 50 people, I would appreciate an earlier opening time.

The breakfast was delicious. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was very convenient.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. Since access between the Accommodation and the main building with the Onsen was only available until 22:00, it was disappointing that I couldn’t use the Onsen late at night or early in the morning, but otherwise I was satisfied. The set meals at the dinner dining area felt a bit pricey. Also, you need a smartphone to place orders. Because it’s surrounded by rice fields and feels quite isolated, it’s best to buy what you need before check-in. I believe the Hotel shop was only open until 21:30 as well. It’s a little inconvenient but acceptable. I’d like to stay again.

Thank you as always. I really appreciate the reasonable rates and the wide selection of amenities and drinks, so I keep choosing to stay here. There aren’t many Hotels that provide services like toner and lotion, so I’m very grateful. However, when I opened the refrigerator this time, I found two short hairs inside, which felt unhygienic, so I decided not to use it. Since the refrigerator is white, I think this could have been prevented with a quick check. Aside from that, I think it’s a very good Hotel, and I would like to stay again.

I stayed for two nights during my first visit to Yamagata. The location is not too far from the station, and while the room is old, it was clean and well-maintained. The ability to separate the two rooms made it very comfortable as I didn’t have to worry about noise or snoring from others. The Onsen is small but sufficient, with a monitor showing how crowded it is. However, I did notice that the air conditioner in the changing room was quite dusty, which was concerning. The breakfast had just the right portions and was delicious—I especially enjoyed having imoni (a local dish). I would definitely stay here again when visiting Yamagata!
