The place was clean, we could enjoy a BBQ, and it’s close to ES CON Field, so we had a great time. The BBQ portions were a bit large for us, perhaps because we had children with us. Since there is only a shower booth (no bathtub), we used the bath at Tower Eleven. There is no TV or pajamas provided, so it would be nice if those were available. The staff were also very kind. Drinks and small daily necessities can be purchased until 7:00 PM at another shop within F Village.

Due to the typhoon, we had to change our plans at short notice and made a same-day Reservation. It was in a great location—within walking distance of the station, just a few minutes on foot to Kokusai-dori, and right next to a bathing Facility. We initially stayed just as a temporary option, but it was so comfortable that we extended our stay. The building was clean, and breakfast offered three kinds of bread plus a wide variety of drinks—even boiled eggs—so for this price we were very satisfied. I was surprised the hair dryer was ReFa; the amenities were well stocked, and the laundry was free (detergent is paid), which I think is a great service for women. All staff members were pleasant and helpful. This is definitely a Hotel I’d like to use again!

Even though I was a bit nervous staying while it was being run by just one person, I had a great stay. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant, which immediately put me at ease. Even without a large public bath, cold welcome drinks, or a buffet, the staff’s warm atmosphere made me feel comfortable and reassured—and with the reasonable price and cozy feel, it’s 5 stars!!

Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. From the warm welcome upon our arrival until we left the Accommodation, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The tasteful selection of tea and sweets served on arrival only heightened our anticipation for the meals. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared, with each dish carefully crafted, and my wife and I enjoyed them with genuine admiration. The salt served alongside was perfectly balanced and paired wonderfully with both sashimi and rice. As I had mentioned ingredients I do not care for, you kindly adjusted the menu accordingly, allowing me to enjoy everything deliciously. We are truly grateful to the head chef and the attendant for their considerate care. For bathing, we enjoyed the open-air bath attached to our Room as well as the large public bath and two open-air baths (rotating by time). All were at a comfortable temperature with excellent water quality, and we bathed four times during our stay. For us as a couple who travel to enjoy baths and great food, it was pure bliss. One small regret is that while we loved the Onsen manju in our Room, we only learned afterward that if we had ordered in advance the day before, we could have purchased freshly made ones the next day. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

Although I’ve visited Okinawa many times, this was my first stay here.\nWe chose the Pool Executive Suite (2 Bedrooms), and it was incredibly spacious and open—best of all, we could use the pool anytime!\nThe kids were thrilled, and the adults joined in too; we ended up swimming and playing over and over.\nHaving a washer-dryer in the Room was a huge help—we’d wash and dry our wet clothes right away, then head back to the pool again the next day.\nIt was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t see the ocean because of all the trees in front of the pool, but at night it was fun spotting bats flying around, cats wandering by, and looking for other unusual creatures.\nSince no one could see us, we were able to truly relax without thinking about anything.\n\nThe beach just a short walk away was full of nature, with gentle waves—it was truly beautiful.\nWe snorkeled as a family, and we really appreciated being able to borrow beach chairs and parasols.\nWe went to watch the sunset, and after being told we might be able to see fireworks, we went out for that too. We visited the beach several times—the sound of the waves and peaceful atmosphere felt cleansing. It became our best Okinawa trip ever.\n\nAs for meals: breakfast—the Japanese set meal was absolutely delicious. We chose Japanese breakfast all three mornings of our 3-night stay.\nFor dinner, we tried à la carte at the restaurant once; everything was excellent and we were very satisfied!\n\nIf I had to mention one small point:\nThe Room Facility is perfect overall, but despite having a kitchen and cooking tools, the refrigerator is extremely small—like one you’d find in a Business Hotel...\nWe couldn’t chill wine in it, so we asked to store it in the Hotel cellar. Considering how well-equipped the Room is otherwise, I wish there were a slightly larger refrigerator.\n\nThis is a pleasantly intimate Hotel overall, so I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet stay.\nAll staff members were attentive and wonderful.\nIt turned into our best Okinawa trip ever—we’d love to return someday!

We stayed as a family during the Obon holiday. It was a charming Japanese-style accommodation with a cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated with carefully selected furnishings, and impeccably clean hallways that sparkled! Since it accommodates only two groups per day, it was quiet, and we enjoyed having the onsen all to ourselves. Dinner featured plenty of local dishes, though I couldn't finish everything and felt sorry about it. The only downside was running out of cold water and having to go buy some early in the morning. One concern was that the sound of the flush from the room's toilet echoed throughout the room at night, making it hard to sleep. I believe this might be due to structural issues but found it bothersome!

From the moment we arrived at the Accommodation, we were warmly welcomed, and it felt very homey. The food was delicious, and everything was explained very carefully. At night, we were also able to watch a meteor shower from what seemed like a terrace or balcony, which was very satisfying.

Recently, my family of three stayed at the accommodation. The open-air bath located so close to Nagoya Station was exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, making us forget we were near the station. Each person could sleep on their own futon, which makes it highly recommended for families with children. We would love to stay here again.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

This was my first stay in Taga Town. I was truly impressed to find such a wonderful Accommodation in Taga. From the time I made the Reservation until just before my stay, you kindly addressed all of my concerns and questions. During my stay as well, your warm hospitality meant a lot to me. The breakfast was delicious and clearly very healthy, and the after-coffee was especially excellent. I heard that breakfast is so popular that some guests come specifically for it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some guests come just for your coffee. In the peaceful surroundings, I was able to relax and enjoy a leisurely stay. One request: the water drainage at the Tsugumi washbasin was poor, so I would appreciate it if you could check it. Other than that, I thought it was wonderful how this old and spacious traditional house has been kept so clean and well maintained. I would love to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of four, including my wife and parents. The charm and elegance of this building, designated as a city cultural property, were truly remarkable, and my parents were very pleased. I even wondered how such an environment could be provided while maintaining profitability. Here are some thoughts: 〇 Highlights - My parents found the traditional-style house nostalgic and reminisced about the past. I felt it would be great for elderly guests to stay here. Once inside (except for the twin bedroom and detached bathroom), there are no steps, making it comfortable for older adults. - The distance from Obi Castle was perfect; we enjoyed walks both in the evening and morning. The walking paths had a lovely atmosphere. - The garden was beautiful, and opening the window in the detached bathroom created a pleasant semi-open-air experience (though it's not an Onsen; bath salts might be nice). We also appreciated having Yoguruppe available. - The dining area featured delicious craft beer and shochu highball on tap, along with other drinks and snacks. As a fan of shochu highball myself, I was delighted (and drank too much). 〇 Areas for Improvement - The front door and toilet doors were stiff to open or close for elderly guests. It would be helpful if they could operate with less force. - While the outdoor stone stairs (9 steps) had small rises, the wooden entrance stairs (5 steps) had larger rises that seemed slippery—challenging for older adults with weaker legs or balance issues. We appreciated being advised beforehand about entering through the back door instead; however, even there were some steps without handrails that required caution. Adjustments to reduce step height would greatly benefit elderly visitors. - Due to low airtightness in parts of this historic building during pollen season, certain areas indoors (like desks in earthen-floored rooms or parts of hallway walls) felt slightly dusty. The town of Obi itself is wonderful but staying at this accommodation alone made our trip worthwhile—it was an exceptional experience! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Obi in the future. Thank you very much!

We stayed here as a family. It was our first time staying on a remote island, but the owner welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived, so we were able to start our stay with peace of mind. The seafood shabu-shabu we had for dinner was truly outstanding, and we were impressed by how fresh everything was. It felt like an island-only luxury. They also kindly recommended places to buy groceries and some cafés, which made our stay even more fulfilling. Rather than simply staying overnight, we were able to truly enjoy our time on the island and in Ushimado. This trip meant a lot to our family, and we’re grateful to have made such wonderful memories. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

Four local friends and I stayed here for a trip, and it was an amazing stay. The Facilities are exceptionally well equipped—there’s a private sauna, a pool, and an evening fire pit—so you can enjoy a truly luxurious time without even leaving the property. I’m actually not usually a sauna person, but this sauna somehow didn’t feel stifling at all and was very comfortable. Because it’s completely private, I could relax and chat freely with my friends, and before I knew it I’d gone back in again and again—it was that cozy. For dinner, we borrowed the BBQ grill and enjoyed cooking together. There are also great spots nearby such as a whisky museum and places where you can try fishing ponds, so we were able to fully enjoy the entire stay including sightseeing. It was a big hit with my friends as well. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

I stayed here on a business trip. It seemed popular with many international guests, but the front desk service was smooth and I had no issues at all. Before entering my Room, I picked up and chose amenities myself, and they were more than sufficient. The Room was clean and well maintained, stylish and cute. I also appreciated having the bath and toilet separate; after a long day of work, I could fill the tub and relax. I was getting tired of staying at a Business Hotel, so this Hotel with a different atmosphere felt soothing. It was quiet around the Room at night as well, making for a comfortable stay. There are several breakfast spots and bakeries nearby, so I thought it would be nice to have breakfast at the Hotel or eat out in the morning. If I’m in the area again for work, I’d like to stay here again.

The staff were kind, and the location was convenient.

The Room was clean and very well maintained. The bed was soft and comfortable, and I was able to relax in a quiet environment. The staff were also courteous. I arrived early, and they kindly stored my luggage for me. Breakfast was very tasty, and the portion size was just right. I wish dinner had been available as well. The Room has a unit bath, but there is an Onsen Facility nearby, and discount vouchers are provided.

This was our second stay. We stayed the first time for our dog, and came back because the meals were so delicious. There were three of us, and while many places use extra beds for three guests, we were able to relax comfortably and were very satisfied. We were happy as ever with the adorable dogs. We were happy as ever with the delicious meals. We also loved the Onsen and the fresh greenery in the English garden. Thank you very much. We’ll be back!

The hot spring water is sourced directly from the spring, with both lukewarm and hot baths available, as well as an open-air bath. Visiting during a less crowded period allows for a relaxing soak to relieve fatigue. I look forward to visiting again.
