I love the scent of wood when you first enter. The Room felt very clean, the towels were fluffy, and I had a comfortable stay. The weather was great, and the forest view from the large window directly in front of the bed, along with the morning sunlight streaming in, felt wonderful.

The view from the living room was amazing! The BBQ we ordered was delicious, and the private bath was excellent. It seems to be close to the new Jungle Area opening soon, so we will definitely come back again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and services, which exceeded my expectations. We stayed as a group of six, and the space was more than sufficient. The interior had a log cabin style, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Being deep in the mountains, we could enjoy BBQ without worrying much about noise and had a stress-free stay. The owner kindly assisted us with shuttle service, starting the BBQ fire, taking group photos, and more, making us feel very welcomed. I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

It was my first time renting an entire property, and unlike a Ryokan or Hotel, I could enjoy my stay without worrying about noise. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, spacious, and comfortable. I didn't use the garden, but having the option for BBQ is definitely appealing. There was also a projector available; however, the sound system was average—perhaps that's just me being picky. Thanks to IKYU's special offers, it was very reasonable. I would love to stay again!

A perfect stay where you can feel the sea of Miura Moriso up close. All rooms offer ocean views, showcasing stunning morning and evening scenery that provided constant relaxation throughout our stay. While there are many pet-friendly accommodations, this one stands out for its cleanliness, allowing us to enjoy a worry-free time with our beloved dog. The well-equipped kitchen and amenities make it ideal for stays with close friends as well. At around 30,000 yen per person for this quality, the satisfaction level is incredibly high, and it’s a villa we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s also a meeting room with a whiteboard, making it suitable for small corporate retreats or workshops.

I had the opportunity to use a vacation rental for the first time. At first, I thought it was expensive, but considering the recent rise in hotel prices, I decided to indulge a little and made a Reservation. The property featured an indoor bath, outdoor bath, sauna, cold bath, kitchen with an iron plate grill, fireplace, sound system, TV, and three bedrooms. We bought fresh ingredients at a nearby market and enjoyed delicious steak and teppanyaki dishes. Lighting the fireplace and gazing at the flames were experiences that are hard to come by in daily life—it was truly blissful. However, please note that some parts of the sauna can get quite hot; be cautious with temperature adjustments. Highly recommended for couples or partners looking to break out of routine!

We stayed here with six friends. In a word, it was the most memorable Accommodation experience we’ve ever had. The sauna and cold plunge on the terrace were truly special—an extraordinary time that made us feel at one with nature. At night, we relaxed while gazing at the stars, and in the morning, having coffee in the mist was pure luxury. It really speaks to you. It was a little chilly, but that only added to the comfort, and what stood out most was how much we could enjoy the crisp, clear air. With a large kitchen and a screen as well, our time together felt even more special. The space is spacious and comfortable, thoughtfully crafted down to every detail—you can really feel the owner’s care and passion throughout. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! We stayed for one night as a family. We had no contact with the staff; the door unlocked after we entered the code sent by email. The place felt very clean, with designer furniture and refined furnishings neatly arranged, making us feel like celebrities. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, along with a Dolce Gusto machine and tea, so even without meeting any staff we could still feel their hospitality. It also seemed possible to use the washing machine, and even single-use detergent was provided. Above all, our child was delighted with the sparkling, stylish Room. From the outside, the rusty window frames gave it a somewhat run-down look, and that contrast made it even more exciting—an amazing experience.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. The motsunabe dinner and the breakfast buffet were both absolutely delicious. The interior and the ocean view from the bedroom were also stunning. We will definitely stay again.

In the heart of Higashi Chaya District, this Accommodation lets you stay as if living in a Kanazawa machiya townhouse, and it remains one of the most memorable Hotels I have ever stayed in. As soon as you step inside, the gentle scent of wood fills the air and naturally calms you. While preserving the charm of an old machiya, the interior has been refined into a modern, sophisticated space, and my stay was comfortable from start to finish. The passage garden leading from the entrance to the living room reinterprets a traditional machiya layout as a contemporary art gallery, creating a distinctive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. With part of one living-room wall opened up, it retains that classic machiya serenity while adding just the right sense of openness. On the first floor, warmth from natural wood is balanced beautifully with a palette of brown, white, cream, and black. Everything—from pendant lights to furniture and small details—has been carefully chosen for a cohesive look that shows great taste down to every corner. The table in particular stood out: its texture evoked Noto washi paper and kurikawa-zome (chestnut husk dyeing), and it felt like local culture and craftsmanship were seamlessly woven into the space. The bath and wash area are modern and spotless in crisp black-and-white tones, and even the scent of Aesop hand soap and bath amenities was wonderfully soothing. Upstairs retains even more of the original wooden character of a machiya, offering a different kind of quiet calm. The bedroom lighting—soft like moonlight—was especially memorable and perfectly suited to the mood. Another unique highlight is being able to whisk matcha in your room. The tea kettle, bowls, and other tools are thoughtfully selected; using vessels that reflect Kanazawa- and Noto-area traditional crafts made preparing matcha yourself feel truly special. With clear instructions provided, it’s easy to enjoy even for first-timers. Unlike having tea at a tourist spot, making matcha in this quiet machiya setting felt deeply relaxing. Open the windows and you can sense both the stillness of this teahouse district and hints of local daily life beyond it. Rather than simply visiting as a tourist, being able to blend into the neighborhood is an experience that’s hard to find at an ordinary Hotel. Breakfast was at Miso Soup Club just a short walk away; I enjoyed a nourishing Japanese breakfast with hearty miso soup packed with ingredients along with egg over rice (tamago kake gohan) and small side dishes. This is an Accommodation I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to savor Kanazawa’s culture, craftsmanship—and unhurried quiet time—with care.

We stayed for two nights as a family of three with our 4th-grade son. It was a wonderful villa with an exceptional sense of cleanliness. The Room and the pool were both spacious enough, and our child was absolutely delighted. There is also a sauna, and my husband said it was amazing that you can go straight from the sauna into the pool. The view of Kouri Bridge from the Room and the pool is breathtaking. There were lots of thoughtful amenities that are great to have, such as a drum-type washer-dryer and phone chargers. It’s a villa we would definitely love to stay at again!

We stayed during the Obon holiday with six family members and one small dog. First, we were able to complete both check-in and check-out without meeting anyone, and the villa felt very private, so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility was new and clean, with well-equipped amenities and supplies. In particular, the indoor bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was wonderful, and both the Onsen and the outdoor scenery were beautiful. The children had a great time playing in the private outdoor pool. Since it was cold, we added a little hot water, but we were surprised to find that it was also Onsen water. If I may make one request, it would have been helpful to have a washing machine. Also, perhaps because it is a new Facility, the towels were almost brand-new, and fine towel fibers stuck to our faces and bodies, which made them uncomfortable to use. However, the Facility was so excellent that our whole family was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

Drawn in by the phrase “Japan’s most luxurious villa,” six fellow business owners and I stayed for one night while visiting Ishigaki Island. In the end, it was an outstanding stay that every one of us raved about. What surprised us even before arriving was the pre-trip meeting with a dedicated planner. Their flexibility and ability to turn any request into reality—along with thoughtful suggestions—had us excited from the start. The actual stay was truly the definition of being fully taken care of. From Shuttle Service to and from the airport, to marine activities like snorkeling on our own private boat, and even a buggy experience on an uninhabited island reached by crossing Kabira Bay in an amphibious vehicle—everything was a one-of-a-kind experience you can only have here. The view from the uninhabited island’s private beach was more beautiful than anything we had ever seen, and it became an unforgettable memory. The villa’s pool and full-scale water slide were also high quality—six adults could enjoy them to the fullest. On top of that, everything was all-inclusive, from an Ishigaki beef BBQ to alcoholic beverages. We were also amazed by Mr./Ms. S, our dedicated veteran coordinator. With decades of experience escorting well-known public figures, their knowledge of Ishigaki Island and hospitality were truly world-class. Thanks to S, our trip satisfaction multiplied many times over. And since we could keep enjoying activities right up until just before our evening flight home the next day, it honestly felt like two nights’ worth—so much so that it seemed like a bargain. We absolutely want to come back, and this is a special place I can confidently recommend to other business owners as well. Next time, I’d love to visit with my team from work.

We stayed here for a company trip. I work in real estate and also run an Airbnb myself, so when I stay at an Accommodation I tend to pay attention to the building, Facilities, and overall usability. This place had many aspects that were truly insightful. From the moment we stepped inside, the sense of openness and the way the ocean view unfolds were very impressive. The interior design and furniture are cohesive, creating a comfortable space. There are also plenty of Facilities everyone can enjoy—such as a sauna, cold plunge bath, and outdoor area—making it a great fit for trips with larger groups. From an operator’s perspective as well, it felt like this place was designed not just by providing Facilities, but by thoughtfully considering how guests will actually spend their time here. It was personally educational for me too. The cleaning was thorough, and we were able to enjoy our stay comfortably throughout. Even setting my professional lens aside, this was simply a highly satisfying Accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone planning a group or family trip in Tateyama. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.
