Although we don’t play golf, my husband is an audiophile who loves listening to music, and he was thrilled with this Hotel. We stayed one night on the way to visit our daughter in Nagoya. The building truly reflects the quality you’d expect from a Yamaha Resort property, and the audio room was equipped with Yamaha’s top-of-the-line system. The open-air bath was also excellent. The staff were attentive in every way, and the food was delicious—so I give it a perfect 100/100.

We stayed here on the first night of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Toyama to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday—Toyama is her favorite place. There were three of us (mother and daughters), and since we don’t eat large portions, we were worried about whether we could finish a full auberge course meal. We contacted them in advance, and they kindly discussed various options with us. In the end, my mother was thrilled—she even finished not only her share but mine as well, enjoying crab that had just come into season. Every dish showcased outstanding craftsmanship, and we enjoyed the food served on beautiful tableware passed down through generations from the owner’s father and grandfather. They also prepared an 88th-birthday red vest (chanchanko) and hat for her, and the photos we took are a wonderful keepsake. The glass-walled bath with its breathtaking view was amazing, and thanks to their carefully chosen bedding, we slept very comfortably. It was satisfying in every way beyond just the cuisine. The owners are a truly warm and lovely couple, and it felt like the entire auberge was wrapped in that welcoming atmosphere.

The beautifully designed room was spotless and very relaxing. Soaking in the open-air bath while gazing at the garden was a slow, soul-warming experience. The dishes were beautifully presented, with carefully prepared dashi that brought out the best of each ingredient. For breakfast, we enjoyed freshly cooked white rice made in a clay pot. Above all, the staff’s warm smiles and thoughtful hospitality left a lasting impression. We were welcomed and seen off with genuine care. It was an even more wonderful stay than we had imagined. The room rate is certainly not cheap, but it felt well worth the price and more. We would love to visit again.

Our group of 10 family members across three households stayed here. The Facility and amenities were well equipped, and the children especially spent all their time playing in the pool and jacuzzi. This was a wonderful Accommodation where the owners’ sense of style and hospitality were evident in every detail. The clean Room, the handmade garden, and the carefully prepared meals were all warm and comforting, and we felt truly relaxed. Rather than the standardized service of a large Facility, we could really feel how much they love this place and are devoted to nurturing it. My elderly mother also said she would definitely like to come again, so we will surely visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and an early birthday party for my younger sister. They prepared a lovely birthday card and a whole cake topped with plenty of fruit, which made both my mother and sister very happy! The house was extremely clean, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable. The private chef was also very friendly and carefully accommodated our requests in advance. We could truly feel the owners’ commitment to putting guests’ comfort first. Thank you so much.

The interior of the property and the room features a calm Japanese-modern design in greige tones, with impeccable taste in decor. It was exactly my kind of style, so I found myself simply gazing around and feeling soothed. The rooftop lounge offered an abundant selection of juices, alcoholic drinks, coffee, Atami’s famous sweets, and light snacks. I couldn’t believe I could choose so freely—can I really have any of these?—and I got genuinely excited. Sipping drinks, enjoying sweets, soaking in the foot bath… it was such a luxurious time taking in the views of Atami. The staff also maintained the perfect level of attentiveness—providing towels to dry our feet and preparing drinks—so considerate in every way. I’m truly grateful. What especially impressed me was the full-course dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented—not only a feast for the eyes—but also had deep flavors with sauces crafted down to the finest detail. I was genuinely moved. Even now, looking back at my photos brings back that lingering feeling: how beautiful it was and how delicious everything tasted. Everything—the room, the meals, and the hospitality—was perfect. It was a place where I could truly refresh from the heart. I feel fully recharged; I’ll do my best day by day and hope to return again someday. Thank you very much.

I was very happy to be able to reserve the teppanyaki I’d been wanting to try for so long. However, I ended up completely full… a luxurious problem of not being able to enjoy every last bite. That’s part of the charm of a high-end hot spring stay. Breakfast was also plentiful, and I was stuffed!! Thanks to how much we ate here, we couldn’t even eat lunch (lol). We also received cheesecake and ice cream as an Ikkyu Diamond benefit, but we couldn’t finish those either (lol). Eat and soak in the hot springs, soak in the hot springs and eat… The weather was great, and it was a truly satisfying trip. I’d love to visit again for my birthday next year.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied. The hotel and the room were both very clean and comfortable. The staff were always smiling, which made me feel cheerful. The shuttle service to Kanazawa Station and the hotel’s dedicated lockers near the station were very convenient.

A beautifully designed modern Japanese-style building and an impressive sense of space. Japanese aesthetics can be felt throughout, and it was a wonderfully comfortable stay—spacious yet deeply relaxing. The welcome service at CAFE SKY LIBRARY was excellent, and I was truly impressed by the staff’s understated hospitality. The large public bath and sauna were also very comfortable, allowing me to unwind and recover from travel fatigue at a leisurely pace. Getting to the airport was smoother than expected thanks to the moving walkways. I even had time to enjoy shopping at the airport early the next morning. When traveling in Hokkaido, this is a hotel I would definitely want to stay at as my final stop.

The staff provided excellent service, and the amenities were well stocked. The bathroom also had a separate washing area, so we could relax and enjoy a comfortable soak. After watching Disney’s nighttime show, Maihama Station was extremely crowded, so staying at this Hotel near Maihama Station was very convenient.

How many times has it been now—another indulgent stay at Kasumi Onsen. Because my wife has a shellfish allergy, we avoid the Matsuba crab season, but during the spring and autumn Kasumi crab seasons we make a special request to have her crab portion replaced with nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch)—we’re truly demanding guests. I enjoy the crab, while my wife is served an unbelievably large nodoguro, perfectly grilled with salt (and I get to taste a bit of it too). Even though we’re asking for two different meals for two people, the staff not only welcome us with warm smiles, but also stop by for a chat when they have time and tell us about caring for their rice fields and plum trees. In short, while we’re here they let us do whatever we like freely—and whenever we need help, they come right away. As long as this hospitality continues, a stay at ICHIJO is guaranteed to be delicious, fun, and delightful. Top-quality ingredients, wonderful料理料理?

We stayed at the Tachibana Clan Residence. The building, the garden, the meals, and above all the heartfelt hospitality were wonderful, making this a truly memorable trip. We were able to fully appreciate the history of the Tachibana clan and enjoy views of the pine garden from the grand hall where the lord once sat. I’m sure that even people 100 years from now will be moved just as we were. Thank you very much.

Using aromatic vegetables, fish, and meat from the Kyoto area, each ingredient is prepared and served with the utmost care to preserve its natural fragrance, flavor, and texture in the best possible way. The chef’s evolving craft was truly impressive. I was also moved by the sommelier’s sincere dedication to wine. The cuisine feels perfectly suited to this one-of-a-kind Meiji-era mansion dining experience in Japan.

This was our first trip traveling with our dog. The Room was clean, the amenities were well stocked, and the food was very delicious. The staff were also kind to our dog. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

All staff members who supported us were incredibly hospitable, and it made our trip truly wonderful. Our whole family was very satisfied—thank you! The facilities were up to date, and the security was excellent. The Ryokan was also very clean and hygienic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicately and elegantly seasoned, everything was fresh, and we enjoyed every dish—it was all delicious. This is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at again! The female staff member at reception during check-in impressed me with her proactive, exemplary hospitality. I stay at Hotels for a change of pace, and this Hotel made me feel at ease in every way—facilities, staff, and overall comfort—with no small discomforts. It was part of the Plan, but I gladly took them up on it and stayed for 24 hours. At reception, they said, “Please let us know if there is anything you need,” showing a positive attitude. At the restaurant as well: “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” They even asked, “Did you sleep well?” You don’t often hear that elsewhere. It had been a while since I stayed at a major international chain Hotel, and their training truly showed. The Room design is also charming. I can see why it’s popular with guests from both Japan and abroad.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

I live in Kobe and have been hiking Mt. Rokko and the surrounding mountains frequently for many years. I often passed by “Ocean Terrace Ajisai” and had been curious about it for a long time. After reading the Reviews, the food looked absolutely delicious. So I made a Reservation for our wedding anniversary. The meals more than lived up to their reputation—beautifully presented, wonderfully flavorful, and truly outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast left us happily stuffed. Everything was delicious, but I was especially impressed by how surprising and exquisite the fig dengaku and peach potage were—and it was my first time in my life to be genuinely amazed at how incredibly good Narazuke could be. The dashimaki tamago that appeared with a burst of steam when they opened the bamboo mat was also exceptional. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind and attentive, sharing enjoyable stories that made us feel at ease. The view was slightly hazy when we arrived, but when I woke up around midnight and stepped out onto the terrace, there were the night lights from Kobe to Osaka—and a full moon! I was thrilled by both our good luck and its beauty. And in the morning, seeing trees wrapped in mist—Mt. Rokko like I’d never seen before—moved me again… I would love to stay again in a different season. When making the Reservation, I saw the Room size in square meters and assumed it would be compact, but I must have misread it—it felt very spacious and relaxing, which was wonderful too.
