Whenever I return home, I try to stay here whenever possible. The room is always clean and well maintained, so I can relax comfortably. I especially love the silky hot spring—it's my favorite! I go in as many times as I can. I'd love to stay here again on my next visit home.

This luxury Japanese-style Ryokan with views of Mt. Fuji offered exceptional service. The view from the Room was stunning, and the windows were polished to a shine, which showed true hospitality. Both the in-room bath and the large public bath were comfortable and deeply relaxing. The meals were also delicious. The attentive service made our children happy as well. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

The Room was clean and well maintained, and we had a comfortable stay. The staff provided pleasant service, which made our trip even better.

- The bath was large and very satisfying. - The entrance was a little hard to find. - There were many international travelers.

This was our fourth stay. We usually come with our kids for about three nights, and there’s never a shortage of daytime activities—pool time, crafts, fishing, table tennis, and ceramic painting. This time we also went hiking and visited the herb garden. After working up a sweat, we could soak in the Onsen anytime, and it was wonderful that the lounge was almost always available to use. We visit during summer vacation and at year-end. Since we don’t have a family home to return to, this place feels like one for us. We’ll definitely be back again—thank you in advance.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

Looking to relax, I searched for a place offering in-room dining and a private open-air bath, and found Bessho Sasa. After leaving my car with them, I was promptly shown to my room, checked in there, and after only the essential guidance, I was able to unwind in the spacious room. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great and I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji at all, but the service was excellent. The grounds were also expansive, and if the weather had been better I would have liked to explore more. Check-out could be completed at a dedicated Sasa counter as well—an exceptionally smooth service that didn’t inconvenience guests at all. I’d love to return again in a different season.

We traveled with our dog. We’ve traveled to many places with our dog, and the meals here were by far the best. The portions were generous, and it’s a real shame we couldn’t finish everything. Having the meals served in our room was also a great choice. The building feels a bit old, but it was very clean and well maintained, and we really enjoyed using the large public bath. Our dog seemed to love the tatami mats and was more relaxed than ever before. All of the staff were cheerful, energetic, and very kind. We would definitely like to stay here again.

We stayed here with our daughters during summer vacation. Despite the reasonable price, the hospitality was outstanding. Dinner was served in a private room so we could relax, and the large public bath was clean and truly soothing. Breakfast was a buffet, and everything we tried was delicious—such a fun experience. This is an Accommodation that makes you want to come back regularly to unwind.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Thank you for preparing the special Room on the 4th floor; the view from the Room was wonderful. Not only could we overlook the streets of Hirugami Onsen town, but we were also able to gaze at the starry sky at night, making it a truly luxurious and moving experience. The meals also featured seasonal local ingredients, and in particular, the salt-grilled amago trout was delicious. We were very satisfied with both the scenery and the food. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

This ryokan has an elevator, and on the same floor there are rooms with a semi-open-air bath and the dining area, so both my energetic mother and my father, who has trouble walking, were able to enjoy their stay. All of the staff in the dining room were very pleasant, and the food was excellent: tender Japanese Black Wagyu beef, abalone sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi with sea urchin, shrimp dumplings, crab-shell gratin, and miso soup with spiny lobster. I ended up having three extra bowls of rice. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes—I had two more bowls of rice again. I’m really glad we came.

The views, the people, the space, and the food—everything was exceptional. I felt instantly healed rather than gradually. The sunset was beautiful, and every staff member’s hospitality was heartfelt. The cooking that brought out the best in each ingredient was outstanding, as were the delicious broths. Not only dinner but also breakfast was truly elaborate and carefully prepared. I could go on forever, but in short, it was wonderful. Thank you very much.

I came to relax and rest. From the moment I arrived, all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room, hallways, and front desk area were kept clean, though the building had a sense of history. Dinner was delicious, with a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, so I was very satisfied. However, the massage chair felt quite worn out and was a bit disappointing. The in-room bath was wonderful—I used it many times and felt refreshed. This is a hot spring inn I would definitely like to visit again.

This was our third stay, and once again it was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. All the staff are kind and truly love dogs, the room was spotless, and the amenities were well stocked for both people and dogs. The bath was also very relaxing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes from appetizers to dessert, all delicious—and you’ll be completely full! Breakfast is a Japanese/Western buffet, and the freshly made rolled omelet is especially tasty. What really stands out is that you can bring your dog into the dining area for both breakfast and dinner—such a treat! Many pet-friendly inns still require dogs to stay in the room during meals. The flooring in the Western-style room we stayed in also seemed less slippery. Our dog has a chronic condition and cannot receive vaccinations or rabies shots, but we have an exemption certificate; as long as we presented it, staying here was allowed. There is an elevator in the building as well, so even dogs with weak legs or guests using pet strollers can get around easily. The surroundings are mostly private homes and fields (and a lodge that was closed before ski season), but morning walks feel wonderful—perhaps because the air is so clean. This time we took a walk to nearby Sekikōji Temple to try miso ice cream while sightseeing, then spent time at Ishiuchi Veranda. We’d love to stay again!

We stayed as a couple in our early senior years. We thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. At dinner, the eel (especially the skin), the ayu wrapped and baked in brick pastry, and the low-temperature cooked fillet were particularly memorable. At breakfast, the galette was especially delicious. The portions were just right, and even my wife—who usually cannot finish everything—managed to eat all the way through to the final warabi mochi this time. Our Room was a semi-suite with plenty of space, and we spent a very comfortable stay. My wife especially loved the refined beauty of the bath walls and the tatami flooring in the toilet area. However, we did notice some noise from the air conditioning (it seemed to be central heating rather than an in-room unit) during the night. A river with quite a strong flow ran beneath the window of one of your smoking rooms. Next time, we would love to stay in a riverside Room. The day after our stay, we headed to Senjojiki Cirque, and it was very helpful that you allowed us to leave our car parked in your Accommodation’s parking lot. Thank you very much.

There is a fully equipped grooming room, and the high-quality shampoo and conditioner were excellent—we were very satisfied. The view was disappointing due to dense fog and rain, but we had a great time playing in the covered dog run. We also received plenty of treats and food for our dogs, so we will definitely be back.

My elderly mother, her friend, and I (her daughter) started a deli one year ago. This time, we stayed here for our 1st anniversary staff trip. I deliberately didn’t tell my mother and her friend what kind of ryokan it was, so they were amazed by the surprise from the moment we arrived. Starting with the comfortable shuttle ride from Izu-Nagaoka Station, everything was wonderful—the entrance lobby space, the garden, the hot springs, the room, and the meals. Every moment was truly exceptional. Not only was the large public bath great, but the bath in our room was also fantastic! Even though my mother and her friend usually eat small portions, they ate a lot that day. And although we tend to be short on exercise in everyday life, we were able to walk a lot while exploring around the property. It felt like my heart, body—and stomach—were all completely satisfied. We made unforgettable memories. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time. As someone who loves architecture, next time I’d love to come back with someone who shares that interest. I’d also love to see your garden in autumn colors and try staying in a different room as well.

We were able to spend a truly relaxing time. After check-in, knowing rain was forecast for the next day, we quickly took a walk around the garden. We imagined how much more beautiful the pond’s colors must be on a sunny day. The meals paired perfectly with sake and wine, and my partner—who doesn’t drink alcohol—was also very satisfied with the dishes made generously with local ingredients. The Niida Honke sake tasting was delicious. My partner said the herbal tea and roasted green tea were also excellent. We became completely hooked on how tasty the mountain salt was. Breakfast offered a variety of ingredients, which we really enjoyed as well. The Scandinavian-style interior and calm lighting helped us unwind, and we slept soundly at night. We were happy to be able to use the lounge after check-in—it gave us time to leisurely plan our upcoming travels. We’d love to visit again on a sunny day in a different season.

I had been wanting to stay here for a long time, and my wish finally came true. I was very satisfied with the Onsen and the breakfast and dinner served in semi-private dining areas. If I had to mention something, the parking lot was far away and there were only stairs, so getting around was a bit difficult. Above all, I truly admired the staff’s warm and courteous service.

We drove from Chiba. As an older couple, we chose this Onsen Accommodation so we could leave at a relaxed pace and truly unwind. It was a wonderful place that exceeded our expectations. The detached Room, the bath, and the meals were all outstanding. The meal included an impressive number of dishes, but each portion was thoughtfully sized, so even we were able to finish everything. The next day, we enjoyed the gentle Onsen three times and headed home unhurriedly. This is now on our list of places we definitely want to visit again.
