Although it’s a small, four-story Hotel, it seems fairly new and was very clean. The staff were all friendly, kind, and attentive. The twin Room was spacious and comfortable, with a sofa, chairs, and a table—perfect for eating or having a drink. There are two supermarkets nearby, and there are also restaurants just a few minutes away by car.

This was my second stay, and the Hotel staff's service was truly excellent, making my stay very pleasant. They are very friendly to dogs, and basic amenities are well provided. (I made the reservation for my dog by phone.) It is also conveniently located near Tokyo Station.

I visited again for the first time in a while, and once again I was reminded how much I love this Accommodation—the Onsen suits my skin perfectly. This time, I stayed in the long-admired Hounenmushi. Surrounded by nature, I was able to enjoy the Onsen quietly and at a leisurely pace.\nThe staff were also extremely courteous, which helped me relax even more. They kindly allowed me to tour the new building as well; it was wonderful, and I’m definitely considering staying there next time.\nIf Reservations could also be made through IKYU, that would make me very happy.

The Room isn’t new, but it’s clean, and the bathroom area has been renovated, making it very comfortable. The bedding was also great—there was a thick mattress placed under the futon, which really helped relieve my fatigue. I was worried that the open-air bath in the Room might attract a lot of insects due to the season, but perhaps thanks to some measures they’ve taken, none came into the bath area at all. Having the river right in front of us was very soothing. There is also a Kanazawa Loop Bus stop near the Accommodation, and a shared bicycle port next to the bus stop, which made sightseeing very convenient. Breakfast didn’t have a large number of items, but everything was delicious. Lastly, when my daughter suffered from heatstroke and we suddenly asked to change our breakfast time, they kindly accommodated us. They even prepared an assortment of fruit that wasn’t on the menu—thank you very much. I don’t often write Reviews so this may not be well written, but it was a truly wonderful Accommodation with kind staff. I hope this helps others as a reference.

We enjoyed everything in line with the concept: nature, architecture, interior design, and the slow passage of time.

The villa was more spacious and cleaner than we expected—almost too luxurious for just the two of us. The large open-air bath outside was wonderfully relaxing, and we enjoyed the Onsen while feeling close to nature, soaking many times. Mt. Yufu looked beautiful right in front of us, and the indoor Onsen bath was also great. We only had breakfast, but it was prepared in the refrigerator, so we could eat at whatever time we liked in the kitchen, and it was delicious. We’d love to stay again in a different season.

There is an accommodation on the eastern hillside of the basin. Even if you call out from the greenery-surrounded entrance, it seems that the staff focused on cooking in the back cannot hear you. The surprised owner kindly carried my heavy luggage effortlessly to the second floor. The twin room on the second floor feels like staying in a friend's attic room, decorated with floral patterns. It is a bright room with a great view, offering a wide panorama of the Alps. The bathroom has no separate washing area and includes a toilet and bathtub together. Dinner starts precisely on time, featuring dishes made from handmade ingredients accompanied by detailed explanations—truly gourmet cuisine. At night, it’s quiet; only the sound of water flowing from a nearby stream can be heard. The night view of Azumino Plain combined with an expansive and clear sky full of stunning stars seen from the terrace is breathtaking. Morning also begins punctually. The terrace overlooking mountain ranges was very comfortable. Everything at this auberge seems to revolve around prioritizing cuisine, reflecting the passionate dedication of its owner-chef to their craft—it’s truly impressive!

I love the ocean and was looking for a Resort Hotel where I could truly relax on my first day off in a while. This Hotel is in an amazing location with the blue Pacific Ocean stretching out right in front of you. Spending time in a beautifully furnished Room—lying back on the fluffy, spacious canopy bed, listening to the waves at leisure, and watching the sparkling sunrise—was pure luxury and bliss. The kind Hotel staff also shared great local food recommendations in Chikura and suggested places to visit—I’m truly grateful. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back!

Originally, we planned to visit Miyako Island, but due to a flight cancellation, we made a last-minute change to this accommodation. The disappointment of not being able to go to Miyako Island was completely overturned by this wonderful accommodation and the nearby sea! Despite our late-night check-in, we were warmly welcomed. The handmade bread served at breakfast was exquisite! It was beautifully presented, and my 4-year-old daughter was thrilled with the heart-shaped bread. Having baked bread for luxury hotels for many years, the quality of the dough and carefully selected ingredients were exceptional. We could choose our drinks; among them, the chai and mango juice were delicious. On our last day, everyone chose mango juice again. The room is a renovated traditional house with high ceilings featuring four bunk beds—perfect for providing a sense of privacy even for teenagers in their sensitive years. Each bed had stylish reading lights and outlets conveniently located for charging devices while lying down. Towels were replaced daily, trash was collected every day as well, allowing us to stay in cleanliness throughout our visit. The toilet and shower room were also spotless! The mist shower provided warm water that felt comforting on slightly chilly days—a thoughtful touch indeed! Cute towels hung daily at the sink added an extra delight. The interior design is stylishly curated; even household appliances are chosen without compromising aesthetics—truly impressive attention to detail! Particularly notable are the potted plants around the reception counter and tasteful tableware used during meals. Less than a one-minute walk from this accommodation leads you straight to the beach—a perfect spot where small children can enjoy activities like SUP boarding or snorkeling safely while playing with floaties in shallow waters close by coral reefs teeming with colorful fish species alongside crabs & hermit crabs living on rocks nearby delighted my daughter immensely! For shopping needs such as drinks or snacks (including delicious bento boxes), there’s a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car offering everything from island sandals & meats desserts fireworks souvenirs operating until 9 PM making it convenient avoiding trips into Naha city altogether! Next time around—we plan staying entirely within Nakijin village itself laughingly skipping excursions elsewhere altogether enjoying its serene charm uninterruptedly instead 😊 Lastly though unexpected mishaps occurred upon departure staff graciously handled situations kindly demonstrating immense patience generosity beyond words expressing gratitude wholeheartedly here once more including promptly mailing forgotten items back afterward too much appreciated indeed ❤️ My daughter fell head-over-heels loving black sugar peanuts brought home cherishing fond memories shared together thanks again sincerely wishing Nakijin remains tranquil unspoiled haven forever amidst growing popularity tourism developments ahead looking forward returning soon reconnecting warmly meantime best regards always till then 🌿

This was my first visit. It took about 2.5 hours by car from Osaka. As we approached the Onsen area, the roads became more mountainous, requiring some attention when passing other vehicles, but overall it was a pleasant drive. The side road leading to the accommodation was slightly narrow, but we arrived safely. The accommodation is surrounded by lush greenery and located along a river (mountain stream), offering a sense of being embraced by nature. The room was a detached unit with an open-air bath, where the faint scent of sulfur provided relaxation and eased our bodies. Dinner featured teppanyaki with premium Kumano beef as the main dish, which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast had just the right portions and was also very tasty. This is an ideal place to escape from daily life and comes highly recommended!

The only downside was the stairs (our dog is heavy, and we liked it so much that we’d love to bring an elderly family member next time), but this was a wonderful Accommodation that more than made up for it. The food was delicious (the Shizuoka oden was amazing), and there’s a great variety of alcohol—very generous! (and you can even drink from the morning). The amenities are stylish, and the nearby Onsen that guests can use for free was fantastic. The Room shower is also spacious, so even large dogs can feel comfortable. Oh, one more downside: the bed was a bit narrow. Other than that, we have no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed with our 2-year-old and 0-year-old, and it was very convenient with a spacious bathing area, availability of bouncers and Bumbo seats, as well as baby gates. The place was clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

Staying in this renovated historic building was a truly unique experience that we don’t usually get to have. The thoughtful touches were wonderful, and the staff spoke to us kindly and warmly. Breakfast was also very delicious.

I stayed at the Holiday House Village. The Facility was unified with Scandinavian design, making it a stylish and functional house. There was an issue with the hot water not running due to heavy snow, but it was addressed immediately, and the response was excellent. Since it was difficult to go out due to the heavy snow, I ordered dinner and breakfast. Although I felt it was a bit pricey, it was delicious, so I’m glad I ordered it. I think it would have been better if there were more menu options. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely like to stay again.

Conveniently located near Takayama Station with excellent access. The room is compact yet simple, comfortable, and well-equipped. However, larger individuals might find the space between the beds a bit tight. Additionally, there is no view from the room, so it may not be suitable for those who prioritize scenery. The bath area is very spacious with separate washing areas; while it’s not an Onsen, you can still enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub. The toilet is also separate and designed with ample space. The staff provided warm and friendly service, leaving a positive impression. Communication among staff was seamless as well. Breakfast was served at the café on the first floor—perfectly portioned with great balance and flavor that left us satisfied. It was a Hotel we’d love to visit again in the future! We had a wonderful stay at Casa Miyama with our family of four! The meals were delicious, and the open-air bath was comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very kind, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable stay. The space was lovely, and we especially loved the charming kitchen. Thank you very much!

We stayed here as a family of five for a short Father’s Day getaway. The house overlooks a beautiful garden, and we were able to relax completely. The interior was very clean, and the Isamu Noguchi lighting, indirect lighting, Room(s), and garden were all beautifully arranged with a wonderful atmosphere. The exposed ceiling beams added warmth and character. The kitchen was spacious and spotless, with well-stocked tableware—perfect for plating brought-in meals nicely. We also really appreciated the high-quality hanger stand and hangers—small details like that made a big difference. The chairs and tables were lovely as well, and the overall sleek modern design blended perfectly with the traditional Japanese farmhouse style, creating a comfortable space throughout. We enjoyed spending time at our own pace in such an open, relaxing setting, and our whole family was very satisfied. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

This time, we stayed at a traditional Japanese accommodation with our children and our Shiba Inu. While pet-friendly accommodations are becoming more common, this place truly felt like "living here," offering a relaxing and peaceful experience. The building itself had a lot of character, immediately putting us in a relaxed mood. The children excitedly ran around saying, "It's so spacious! Let's explore!" Meanwhile, our Shiba Inu was initially a bit hesitant but quickly found her favorite spot to relax. Not only was this accommodation pet-friendly, but the room was also spacious enough for our Shiba Inu to move freely in an unfamiliar environment, which seemed to be a refreshing change for her. At night, it was quiet and peaceful. Our Shiba Inu settled down completely and slept soundly even without her usual bed. The children were delighted by the traditional toys like kendama and karuta provided in the room. They played with them until bedtime without touching their iPads—a service my wife and I greatly appreciated. This trip allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and spend quality time together as a family. The kids said they wanted to come back again, and seeing how relaxed our Shiba Inu was made us happy too. For anyone looking for pet-friendly accommodation, we highly recommend this place!

I stayed in Room 102. The view was absolutely spectacular! I didn’t even go sightseeing—I could just zone out and watch the ocean. The place was clean and spacious, the kitchen was spotless, and I was surprised by the wide variety of drinks in the fridge—even though they’re free. The large sofa with a wide seat was very comfortable, but it was disappointing that you can’t really lean back on it (it isn’t fixed, so it moves). I wanted to relax on the sofa and enjoy the ocean view. This wasn’t clear from the photos, so I’m sharing it for future guests. One more thing that wasn’t mentioned in photos or information: noise. Maybe staying on the second floor would have been better, but there were four young people staying upstairs that night. I kept getting woken up by loud footsteps at 1 a.m., 2 a.m., and 3 a.m. I even started entering the owner’s emergency number on my phone when it finally stopped, so I didn’t call—but then I got woken up again at 4 a.m., which I really regretted. If you stay here, I recommend choosing the second floor.

It was a truly wonderful villa. The owner’s attentive guidance, the complimentary drinks in the sauna and the Room refrigerator, and the private Onsen with free-flowing natural hot spring water along with the sauna—everything was excellent! We’ve stayed at many villas, but what surprised us most was that all the seasonings were brand new!! The amusement room (additional fee) is fantastic!! The kids spent all their time enjoying karaoke and darts. The view is amazing! Next time, we’d like to visit in summer when we can use the pool. The only disappointment was that the pet grooming room had a strong odor—possibly from sewage—so we couldn’t use it.
