I booked a two-night stay for plane spotting with the [Runway View & Breakfast] Runway-Side RW16 Plan. The view from the Room was outstanding, and on the second day I spent the afternoon through evening fully focused on shooting while watching the runway. It was extremely hot that day, so it was great to be able to take my time photographing in an air-conditioned Room. I will definitely visit again!

I stayed here for an event and a shrine visit. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, and that alone made the heat and fatigue melt away. Their explanation of the Room location and the check-out procedure was also very clear. The Room had wooden flooring, was very spacious, and comfortable to stay in. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain like a typical unit bath, so when showering in the tub I took a little care not to get the outside wet (it was fine). Two sets of amenities were provided, and it was helpful that disposable chopsticks were included as well. I used one toothbrush and one pair of chopsticks. Thanks to that, I slept well. Check-out is done by dropping off the key. It was such a good Hotel that I almost regretted not being able to say “thank you for your help” in person. If I have the chance, I would like to stay again.

With a bus stop for Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Fuji-Q Highland nearby, the location is unbeatable! There’s also a convenience store and Don Quijote close by, making shopping easy. The rooms, Facility areas, and Onsen are all very clean! The staff are incredibly kind. There’s nothing to complain about! If you’re staying for a Mt. Fuji climb (Yoshida Trail) or visiting Fuji-Q Highland, you should choose West Inn Fujiyoshida!

The hospitality, the stylish dinner, and the ochazuke breakfast were all wonderful—I’m glad I was able to stay here. However, I have some concerns about my legs, and I didn’t realize from the Accommodation photos that it is a two-story building; I would have been happier if the toilet were on the first floor. What is the entryway area inside the Room (the earthen-floor space) intended to be used for?

I stayed for one night and had a comfortable experience. First of all, the location is excellent. It’s very close to Sapporo Station, and within walking distance to the Clock Tower, Odori Park, and Susukino. There’s a Lawson convenience store in front of the Hotel and a Seicomart around the corner, which was very convenient. The Room was small but clean and functional. It would have been even better if mineral water was provided. Breakfast wasn’t bad but not particularly outstanding either—it was average overall. I appreciated that they had soup curry available. They kindly stored my luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which was helpful. However, during check-in payment, I noticed that the amount presented was before applying the IKYU discount; if I hadn’t caught it, I might have paid the full price without realizing it. When I pointed this out, they checked and adjusted it to reflect the discounted amount. From outside, it looks simple like a typical Business Hotel; however, while not spacious, the front lobby is stylish and clean. The neighboring Aspen Hotel from the same group is larger and more impressive in appearance; still, this smaller-scale atmosphere here left a positive impression on me as well.

It was reasonably priced and conveniently located for sightseeing in Asakusa. The staff were also very helpful. The Room had an older feel, as expected for the building’s age, but it was clean. The amenities were well stocked, which was great. Having a large public bath and sauna is a big plus, but it was disappointing that they weren’t available on the day of check-out.

We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

We stayed here for a trip to Yamanashi. We stayed two nights, and it was disappointing not to see Mt. Fuji from the first day, but on the last day we could see Mt. Fuji perfectly from the window! There are houses nearby, but it was my first time seeing Mt. Fuji so beautifully and I was truly moved. I think this is a log cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin has a cypress barrel bath, which feels wonderfully luxurious. This time we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji while bathing, but on a clear day it seems like it would be an amazing scenic bath! The public bathhouse directly across the street was also great.

I stayed at this Hotel again for a live concert in Takamatsu. The location is excellent, with the downtown area nearby, and since the Hotel is on the 9th floor and above, the Room was quiet even though it’s in a lively area. The service was also wonderful. I shipped my luggage in advance, and the staff were polite on the phone and considered my Room request. On the day of arrival, the front desk staff were very kind. When I left for the concert, they saw me off with smiles and said, “Enjoy.” I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

We stayed with a preschool-aged child, and thanks to your kind hospitality, we had a very comfortable stay. I’ve liked Daiwa Roynet since my days as an office worker and have stayed at your properties in many places across the whole country. Even with a different brand, the same sense of cleanliness remained, and the spacious Room and bathroom were excellent. The service was also wonderful, and it helped us recover from the fatigue of traveling with a child. Thank you for arranging the bed layout and for preparing extra pillows and bath towels. The shoes-off style was also very helpful when traveling with a child. I would love to stay again on our next trip.

Although it was just a 1-minute walk from the station, it was so quiet that we were not bothered by outside noise. The view of the Northern Alps from the window was beautiful, and our Room faced the side where we could enjoy watching the sunrise. We went to breakfast around 8:00, and it wasn’t crowded, so we could take our time and enjoy what we liked. My mother in her 70s was also pleased, saying the Japanese simmered dishes and Chinese rice porridge were delicious and not overly seasoned. I was happy that the bathtub was large, and the amenities were well stocked. If possible, I would appreciate it even more if facial lotion could be available at the front desk. I would love to stay here again when visiting Matsumoto.

We stayed as a family of three, and to our delight, we were upgraded to a higher-grade Room than the one we had reserved. It was truly a dog-first Accommodation. Dogs can share existing bedding with you, and you can dine together as well. The dining area has semi-private seating, so we could relax without worrying about other dogs, which was great. The price may be a bit high, but it was the best Accommodation we’ve stayed at with our dog so far (and this time felt like a bargain thanks to the upgrade!). It’s an Accommodation that makes us want to stay again.

The Room was very clean. It was great to have the toilet and bathroom separated. The washroom was spacious and easy to use. I didn’t use it this time, but having a microwave in the Room seemed very convenient. Breakfast was provided as a bento-style meal, and it was more than satisfying. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I would love to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

I’m a repeat guest. The location is great, and it’s excellent value to get a solid breakfast at this price. The Room is also comfortable and easy to spend time in.

The Room was more than sufficient for spending the night alone. The bed was spacious, and the mattress was supportive—not too soft or prone to sinking—so it was extremely comfortable. The bathtub is quite compact. For some reason, the elevator hall on the second floor has no ceiling and was exposed to the rain, so it was wet. It wasn’t an issue with light rain, but it could be difficult in heavy rain. Since the microwave is located in the breakfast service area, it had been put away by morning. They warmed up my convenience-store soup in the kitchen, but I was told not to eat it at the breakfast venue and to eat it in my Room instead. They also stored my luggage even before check-in, which I really appreciated because I didn’t have to carry a large bag around. Thank you very much.

It was closer to the station than I expected (I could take a diagonal route), the front desk staff were pleasant, and the amenities were well stocked, so I had a comfortable stay. The convenience store the front desk recommended was also very close, which was handy. Great value for this price—very satisfied.

Unfortunately, due to cloudy and rainy weather, we couldn’t see the starry sky, but we’re already thinking about when to come back for another try. There was a warm, homey atmosphere among guests as well—people asked questions and helped each other out. The drink corner was a great idea, but even after trying many times, no ice came out, and there were a few things that were unclear. An elderly guest seemed troubled because the coffee wouldn’t stop dispensing. I think it would be helpful to post easy-to-understand instructions. At mealtimes, the staff serving us were all foreigners, but they were very polite. Their Japanese was quite limited at times so we didn’t always understand what they said, but we could generally guess from the context and had no issues. One thing that stood out compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at: since it’s a quiet Hotel I thought this might be normal here, but I was surprised that none of the staff said “good morning” to guests in the morning. When my husband passed by the front desk he greeted them first; they may not have heard him, but they were chatting among themselves and didn’t greet guests even as people walked right in front of them. In contrast, the foreign staff in the restaurant—even with limited Japanese—did say “good morning.” Also, the Onsen was wonderful, but there is no fan in the changing room. Having one would help guests cool down more easily and might reduce crowding there. The large public bath and open-air bath are very comfortable and warm you up well. The green view from the open-air bath—and in the morning, clouds or mist drifting over the mountains—felt truly unique. The meals were a good portion size and showed creativity within their price range. Dinner offered an enjoyable mix of Japanese- and Western-style dishes with plenty of variety. Breakfast was buffet-style with many options including both Western and Japanese items as well as desserts; everyone seemed to be enjoying it. The highland area is beautiful—it feels like it could even become a villa resort area someday. We also visited Relaxia Forest next to the Hotel (apparently used as a movie filming location). It’s a lovely forest where we could enjoy forest bathing too. There don’t seem to be any other Hotels around this area, so we’d like to stay again.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the breakfast was delicious. I had a very comfortable stay.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of 5 nights. The staff were very attentive, and I had a comfortable stay. The welcome drink and complimentary breakfast were delightful and felt like a great deal. Since I used my own toothbrush, I returned the provided one saying "I don't need it," and in exchange, I received local Umaibo snacks equal to the number of toothbrushes—this was an unexpected bonus! Security was reliable, and the Onsen was very relaxing. Overall, I was very satisfied. The Room was slightly small but perfectly manageable for my stay.

Although the building is old, the location is great, the Room was clean, and best of all, it was a good value for money.
