I highly recommend this Onsen Facility for guests traveling with dogs—there aren’t many places where you can relax this much. Even in the recent hot summers, the on-site dog run is more than enough, with two spacious areas where dogs can play happily to their heart’s content. The view from the bath is simply amazing, and I end up soaking again and again. In the lobby café, there is a complimentary drink service, and with the great scenery and atmosphere, you can unwind together with your dog. Dinner can also be enjoyed buffet-style with your dog by your side, and everything tastes delicious. You can truly enjoy every moment together with your beloved pet. Another favorite is breakfast the next morning: it comes as a sandwich box that you can take back to your Room to eat. It also feels like there’s no concern about bears appearing around here, and it has become a place I absolutely want to visit at least once a year—honestly, I’d come every month if I could.

The staff were very friendly, and many had unique personalities—talking with anyone was a lot of fun. One especially memorable touch was a staff member who referred to our dog as “Kuu-sama,” which made us smile.Dinner was buffet-style, so honestly I didn’t expect much, but it was delicious. They brought individual portions of sashimi and roast beef to each guest, and the dishes made with local specialties were excellent.Breakfast comes as a set with items like sandwiches and soup, and you can eat wherever you like.Personally, the sandwiches weren’t great for me.That’s about the only downside—everything else was wonderful.During certain hours, beer and other alcoholic drinks were free.Highly recommended!
