Phottage Inn Biei

Affordable, yet surprisingly spotless!When I heard it was a container house, I didn’t expect much, but the interior was very clean and exceptionally well maintained. The amenities were well stocked, and there’s a convenience store right in front, making it extremely convenient. Air conditioning is also provided, so the stay was comfortable. I’d like to stay again.

I stayed here on a trip to Biei and Furano. Since I was traveling alone, I usually choose a Business Hotel, but there aren’t many in Biei, so after researching various options I decided to stay at Villa Pocket. The container room felt like a Business Hotel—spacious bed, quiet, and very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. The Biei rusks were delicious; I wish I had bought some to take home. Biei Senka is nearby, so I went there for dinner and enjoyed a course meal. There are also ramen and soba restaurants close by. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Biei.
