First Cabin Kyoto Nijo Castle

This was my first time staying at a dormitory-style Hotel. The high ratings make sense—the Facilities were well equipped and very clean. The large public bath was especially nice, designed so you can open the window and enjoy it like a semi-open-air bath. Maybe because it was a weekday, the sinks in the morning weren’t crowded, which made it comfortable. The walls are thin, so there’s not much you can do about other guests’ snoring even with earplugs, but that’s to be expected. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

This was my first time staying at a capsule Hotel. The Hotel was very clean, and even though the large public bath, toilets, and other facilities must be used by many guests, everything was spotless. The staff must be excellent!! There were clear notices so inbound guests could understand the rules, and I was happy to get Yakult. It’s great that you can freely enjoy snacks and drinks. The pajamas were separated into top and bottom, which made them very easy to use. However, maybe it’s just a downside of capsule Hotels—the entrance to each Room is quite simple, so morning alarms were going off from every Room and it was a bit noisy. Still, the price was unbelievably cheap, so I was very satisfied. I’m not sure if I’ll stay again, but it was a great experience.
