Smile Hotel Utsunomiya Nishiguchi Ekimae

On the day of our stay, a larger Room happened to be available, and we were kindly moved there. I was very happy.The breakfast also featured many Tochigi specialties. I didn’t know there are areas where chives are added to soba, and I was truly impressed by the variety—udon and soba for breakfast, plus bread and rice, Tochigi gyoza, shumai, yuba rolls, and even Tochigi-exclusive rice.There were more dishes than we could possibly finish—rolled omelet (dashimaki tamago), simmered fish, scrambled eggs, sweet-and-sour pork, spaghetti—and plenty of drinks such as lemon milk and regular milk. There were also many options overall, along with thoughtful touches like small yogurts and desserts. I’m really glad we chose the plan with breakfast.Above all, after the meal, a woman in the dining area personally said “Have a nice day” to each guest who had finished—something I had never experienced before—and it felt wonderful. She also thanked what seemed like regular guests with “Thank you as always,” which I thought was excellent.This was our first stay for our child’s match, but if we go to Utsunomiya again, we would definitely like to stay here again.Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

It’s close enough to say it’s right next to Utsunomiya Station, with several popular izakayas nearby. Even if you’re leaving early in the morning before the Hotel breakfast starts, you can get everything you need at the 7-Eleven on the first floor. Since it’s a new Hotel that opened after COVID-19, every Room is clean and well maintained.It’s a shame there isn’t a large public bath.
