Naruko Onsenkyo Kawabata Onsen Echigoya Ryokan

The baths were so relaxing that I enjoyed them seven times in total (across the two different spring types). The meals were also delicious and very generous, and I was completely full at both dinner and breakfast. I was impressed by the thoughtful touches as well, such as the post-bath lounge area, chilled water in the Room, and complimentary coffee after breakfast. Thank you very much—I would love to visit again.

Two indoor baths and an open-air bath, all fed by free-flowing hot spring sources with different water qualities. There is also a free private bath, and with the men’s and women’s baths rotating, you can soak at least three times. The volume of hot water was plentiful, and the temperature was just right for me—so relaxing that I ended up bathing five times in one night. Both dinner and breakfast were not pre-made; hot dishes were served hot at the right time, and the chawanmushi was outstanding. Service had a warm, family-like feel—guest-focused hospitality without any pretension. It’s not new by any means, but it’s clean and well kept. The price was reasonable too—I was truly impressed. An Accommodation I’d love to visit again.
