Bijin no Yu Sagae Onsen Hotel Symphony Main Building

When sightseeing in Yamagata, we stay at Symphony. Once again, the food was outstanding. The dishes are very thoughtfully crafted—the way the ingredients are brought out and seasoned is impressive. The combinations of items in the dinner course were also excellent. Each time, we can enjoy different dishes, and it feels like they are always evolving. We were also happy to have a wide variety of vegetables at breakfast.

The property had a nostalgic Showa-era feel, but it was very clean and I was able to relax.The front desk staff were polite and helpful.It was quite a walk to the elevator for the large public bath, so I thought it would have been nice if the Room description mentioned that it is a bit far from the large public bath. The Onsen was very pleasant.I usually prefer bread for breakfast, but the buffet did not include bread and was Japanese-style. However, the rice was delicious, and there were various side dishes featuring Yamagata specialties—everything was excellent.Thank you for your hospitality.
