Fujimatsuen Hotel

I contacted the property to say that I had missed the last bus from Hana-no-Miyako Park and would not make it in time for check-in. They kindly explained a walking route and told me that if I didn’t need dinner, I could take my time and come carefully. Taking them up on that, I had dinner on the way and checked in, where I was greeted warmly. They also helped me arrange breakfast.The Onsen was spacious, and especially the open-air bath—there were no other guests (maybe I went at a good time?)—so I could truly relax and recover from 14,000 steps of walking.In the morning, when I woke up at 4:30, Mt. Fuji was right in front of me—so close it filled my view.With subtle hues, it was breathtakingly beautiful.The morning bath and then breakfast—everything helped me forget everyday life, thanks to all the staff.Thank you very much.

Great location, very clean, and the staff were kind. The breakfast buffet was also delicious—salads, side dishes, orange juice, coffee, yogurt with toppings, and more. If I had to mention minor points, it would have been nice to have a mirror in the Room (for my wife’s makeup), an air purifier, and an in-room safe. Overall, we were very satisfied and will make another Reservation.
