Lumiere

I stayed at Lumiere the night before a concert at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater during Silver Week, as it’s just a short walk from the venue. Tucked away quietly in the woods, it truly feels like a hidden retreat. The owner couple are still young and very attentive, kindly taking care of all sorts of things in advance so I wouldn’t have any trouble.Even though I was traveling solo as an almost-60 woman, their warm hospitality helped me relax and unwind.Next time, I’d love to try the meals as well.In the desk drawer in the room, there’s a guest notebook where past visitors have left comments. It’s quite fun to read.I highly recommend visiting at least once.

I chose this property for its convenient location and the appeal of having a Room with an open-air bath. The exterior and restaurant feel like a private villa, and the antique-style furniture throughout is charming. Since there was no dinner-included Plan, I was a bit worried because I wasn’t familiar with the area, but I heard you had started a bistro and tried it right away. They had my favorite craft beer, the food was delicious, and the next morning’s breakfast quiche and salad were also excellent.　Because I was exhausted from the heavy rain, I’m glad I stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. I soaked several times until morning and felt completely refreshed. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.
