Sunset Villa Hikari Reef

For the past ten years or so, my wife and I have been traveling all over Japan by car. This time, taking advantage of Silver Week, we were planning a trip to Kyushu and realized that in the southwestern part of Kyushu we had only visited Koshikijima with our children a long time ago. When I searched on IKYU, I found Villa Hikaruze.We were contacted to confirm our arrival time, and I wondered why at first, but when we arrived at Hikaruze, the Onsen bath had been filled in time for our arrival. It was two days of wonderful hospitality—perfect for seniors like us. Recently we’ve enjoyed visiting remote islands such as Goto, Iki, Rebun, and Rishiri, but Hikaruze’s location was even better. The weather was great, and we could see as far as the Amakusa islands in the distance.As for what this old couple looks forward to most—meals—the sashimi and meat were the best we’ve ever had. Since we don’t have much time left at our age, we’re looking forward to returning soon with our children.Thank you very much.

Because the Reviews were highly rated, I had wanted to visit for a long time. When I actually stayed, it was exactly as the Reviews said, and I felt truly relaxed. The iron-rich Onsen was wonderful, and the Room was very clean; throughout the property I could also sense the owner’s thoughtful touches, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the staff’s respectful sense of distance—it really helped someone like me who tends to get nervous. The meals were outstanding; I’ve never had fish this fresh before, and the meat was also incredibly delicious—I was genuinely impressed! Breakfast was comforting and delicious as well, and I enjoyed a wonderful time right up to the very end. It was a lovely one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much. I will definitely come again!
